A good place for fried seafood. Oyster po-boys are very tasty. The gumbo is outstanding. Often very crowded with students when Auburn University is in session.

One would assume that if the title of a restaurant had oysters prominently displayed...they would have oysters. Well...never assume especially if you are going to this place. In fact, they didn't have much of anything. No crab and shrimp dip, no Blue Moon beer, no shrimp, and no blue cheese dressing for the wings. The only redeeming quality was the... More

The waitress/bartender was prompt and courteous. The beer price was good. The fried oysters basket contained very small oysters with heavy breading. They were tasty, but not very much to them, and not many fries. The hush puppies were the smallest.

If you are looking for oysters and beers this is a great place. I only been there twice, but they usually have specials. Last time I went it was $6 dozen of Oyster and $2 beers which was pretty good. Overall if Oysters is what you are looking place this is one of the only places you'll find them in... More

don't know how to correct my review just submitted but it was supposed to be for Toomer's coffee. I've been to the Oyster Bar. Pretty much what you'd expect for beer and eats in a college town. It was good and the beer was cold. what more can one ask for. Didn't have the oysters but our dinner was well... More

I have gone to the OBAG several times over the past couple of years, and have reviewed them for Tripadvisor before. After my last trip, I will not be going there any more. It was not horrible-I have just seen a steady decline in food quality/availability and service every time I've gone. This time, we ordered a dozen Rockefeller. They... More

We didn't try the oysters but they looked great. Food was really really good. My son got grilled chicken tenders which he said were really good. I had the hamburger steak and potato casserole. The potato casserole was unbelievably good just couldn't eat it every day. Food was great, service was great. We enjoyed our dinner there and would recommend... More

Nice clean and well kept bar. Good place for a beer and some oysters on the cheap (not the biggest but just order another dozen if you need more)
