2 friends and I met for lunch here Tuesday. We had high expectations but were sorely disappointed. The food was greasy, mostly a gravy sauce with 3-4 pieces of meat. A total waste of 50$. Our dessert was the Gulab Jamun which was suppose to be a fried cheese ball soaked in honey syrup served warm. It was 2 tiny... More

I heard that this restaurant is under new management! And the food is still awesome! I really Loved the buffet because they had a variety of food, for vegetarians and non vegetarians. The customer service is always great and so friendly!! I would definitely recomed to go their with YOUR FAMILY.

Food is authentic and tasty. Naan wasn't quite how we like it. Needs more time or heat in the tandoor oven. A little on the pricey side. To the reviewer who said the food was bland - Buffets always are. If you want spice order the individual meals and request medium or spicy.

The food I thought was pretty authentic. Really good spice array. The prices were pretty reasonable too. Generally doesn't feel real fancy. The effort is put into the food, which is just fine by me. The hand written notes explaining the buffet special on a specific day really should not be there. Maybe just post those by the door and... More

Had dinner at Bombay Grill with the family. The meal was good, nothing extraordinary. We loved the naan and the vegetable balls in spinach were the highlight. The lamb was overcooked a bit but the taste was good. We also tried the tomato soup and it was ok. The staff was very nice and service was good. The restaurant looks... More

I love Indian food, and I cook it at home. It's a very complicated and time-consuming cuisine to prepare. So the absolute authenticity, high quality, and reasonable prices make Bombay Grill a real treasure for Auburn.

My wife and I stopped in Sunday evening. I noticed the menu had changed. A great selection and great taste. Enough food for 2 meals each. We were the only Caucasians there so that should say it all. Mild is no spice but they have chutneys for more heat. I may try medium next time. Kingfisher beer was good and... More

I recently ate authentic Indian food in Montgomery and LOVED it. I was craving it again a few months later. I saw a very large billboard on S. College about Bombay and thought 'sure, I've been meaning to give that a try'. Hmmm. No flavor. I kept wondering when I'd taste some of that famous Indian spice people talk about.... More

Indian cuisine is by far this family's favorite food. We have ordered a number of menu items and all are excellent. In my opinion the quality of menu items far exceed the buffet items, which are generally made mild (but still full of flavor.) Prices are fair, especially if you understand the complexity of preparing indian sauces and meats. Dinner... More
