Excellent hidden gem

We were looking for a dinner option without lines and lucked upon this restaurant near Auburn University. The food was excellent. Some of the best naan I have had. Had a kids menu which included a rice and chicken dish my daughter loves. She asked to take the rest home and we were able to avoid... read more

I am an Indian (if it matters or makes sense, in particular east Indian). So I am naturally very critical of Indian food cooked outside my own kitchen :P Having said that, when I crave for spicy Indian food and do not have time or energy left to cook on my own, I do visit this restaurant (may be twice... Maybe the best Indian restaurant in Auburn/Opelika area, but I've had much better. Doesn't come close to the Taste Of India (Bay Leaf) in Montgomery.

I always check out Indian restaurants during my frequent travels. This trip was to Auburn, Alabama and a quick search showed on in Auburn that had good reviews. I decided to try it and it turned into a peculiar dining experience. On arriving I noted that the parking lot was empty and this is usually not a good sign. Since... More

Called for a pick up order. Got goat biryani. delicious. 15 bucks for 2 meals. good deal to me. Have not been to the buffet meal in a while. The wait staff was cordial when i went to pick up my order. But they have different people working now.

After eating at the India Palace in Montgomery, it's hard to rate another Indian restaurant. Auburn needs another restaurant like this where a person has the option to eat meat...or not. I enjoyed the lunch buffet...flavorful, but not enough to give you heartburn. Will be back.

With friends in Auburn we were looking for a place to eat. Heard this place was good but it exceeded our expectations. If you love Southern Indian food or British Indian food then this is your spot. Hey, in Auburn what chices do you have but may be better than my fav spot in Houston. Nice Auburn MBA runs the... More

My wife & I plus nine other family members celebrated a daughter in-law's birthday midweek. It was not very busy, so we were sorta the main attraction. Our son ordered Tandori chicken, spinach, rice and a fish dish with the naan bread for the entire party. The kids (4) had fries & chicken nuggets. Outstanding! The condiments were very spicy but... Been there for dinner and it was good. went back for the buffet and it was real good, and I got the naan with it for no extra charge. It all seemed fresh, and even the tandoori chicken was not dried out. Very reasonably priced as well
