Vegetarian or not lunch buffet fits the bill

After eating at the India Palace in Montgomery, it's hard to rate another Indian restaurant. Auburn needs another restaurant like this where a person has the option to eat meat...or not. I enjoyed the lunch buffet...flavorful, but not enough to give you heartburn. Will be back.

With friends in Auburn we were looking for a place to eat. Heard this place was good but it exceeded our expectations. If you love Southern Indian food or British Indian food then this is your spot. Hey, in Auburn what chices do you have but may be better than my fav spot in Houston. Nice Auburn MBA runs the... More

My wife & I plus nine other family members celebrated a daughter in-law's birthday midweek. It was not very busy, so we were sorta the main attraction. Our son ordered Tandori chicken, spinach, rice and a fish dish with the naan bread for the entire party. The kids (4) had fries & chicken nuggets. Outstanding! The condiments were very spicy but... Been there for dinner and it was good. went back for the buffet and it was real good, and I got the naan with it for no extra charge. It all seemed fresh, and even the tandoori chicken was not dried out. Very reasonably priced as well

My family loves indian and have had some pretty authentic indian food. The buffet is cooled down for most people to enjoy yet has tons of flavor. The price on it isn't too bad either and they seem to always mix it up a bit in terms of variety of food when we go. The staff is always professional and... More

2 friends and I met for lunch here Tuesday. We had high expectations but were sorely disappointed. The food was greasy, mostly a gravy sauce with 3-4 pieces of meat. A total waste of 50$. Our dessert was the Gulab Jamun which was suppose to be a fried cheese ball soaked in honey syrup served warm. It was 2 tiny... More

I heard that this restaurant is under new management! And the food is still awesome! I really Loved the buffet because they had a variety of food, for vegetarians and non vegetarians. The customer service is always great and so friendly!! I would definitely recomed to go their with YOUR FAMILY.

Food is authentic and tasty. Naan wasn't quite how we like it. Needs more time or heat in the tandoor oven. A little on the pricey side. To the reviewer who said the food was bland - Buffets always are. If you want spice order the individual meals and request medium or spicy.

The food I thought was pretty authentic. Really good spice array. The prices were pretty reasonable too. Generally doesn't feel real fancy. The effort is put into the food, which is just fine by me. The hand written notes explaining the buffet special on a specific day really should not be there. Maybe just post those by the door and... More
