This restaurant has some of the best catfish I have had in a long time. The waitress was super at keeping my tea glass ful. That is my main thing for a waitress to keep me happy.

Arrived just after noon, full parking lot but found a spot. We were immediately seated, had our drinks within a few minutes and ordered a few minutes later. Shortly, my cup of gumbo and my wife's coleslaw were served. Both were excellent as usual and we ordered lunch at that time. About the time I finished my gumbo, our waitress... More

We had two plates of fish that tasted like soap, after 4 or 5 bites the ketchup wouldn't cover it. The manager said we should still have to pay for a 1 piece plate and the waiter even admitted that we were not the first people to complain and that it was possible other employees would have washed drink pitchers... We got our food to go because of health reasons, but this was absolutely delicious! We had the fried shrimp, fries, hushpuppies and cole slaw. I do not like restaurant cole slaw, but I loved this! It wasn't chunky but just right. The shrimp had to be fresh because they were wonderful. Even the hushpuppies and fries that so often... More

Mapquest did not get us to the location, but just go down another block and it is on the right. I loved the design of the inside. All staff went above and beyond. We only got the whole and strip catfish. It was yummy, very hot and crispy. Coleslaw was as great as remember. Will sure be back when our... More

David's is a local favorite. Fresh seafood from the Gulf of Mexico is served along with catfish. Fried or blackened, the fish and shrimp are always great. My mother loves the chicken salad and fruit plate--some of the best chicken salad you will ever taste! My favorite is either the fried large shrimp or the fried whole catfish. You're sure... More
