My husband & I had been driving all day & stumbled upon Dave's. Wonderful experience. Our waitress, Jennifer, was so attentive & very nice. Great hush puppies & awesome cole slaw. We'd go back if we were in town.

My husband and I were in Atmore to go to the casino but we got tired of eating at McDonalds, we started driving and ran across this place.. I am so glad we stopped that was the best food that we had eaten all weekend. Tons of good for the price! Can't wait to return

David's food is always consistent. Sometimes you go in a place and don't get the same quality and quantity of food. That is not the case with David's. Servings sizes are good and the catfish always excellent.

The catfish is fried to perfection and the seasoning on the grilled shrimp was super savory and yummy! They were really busy but the servers helped each other out and were very polite. There's nothing fancy about the location but it has alot of character and the food is really good! I'd highly recommend!

Really enjoyed catfish sandwich although service was a little slack. Eating utensils are in white envelopes in a container, which seems to be standard at a lot of southern Aabama restaurants but I had to ask for fork & only then did waitress show me. However the food was really good! The catfish was cooked excellent and very tasty, as... More

Love the food. Good variety. The grilled Cajun shrimp and catfish are great. For something different the hamburgers are great. Also the hamburger steak is great.

The service was very good and the atmosphere fun and informal. Prices were good as was the food. Limited menu selection. Would go back.

A very family friendly restaurant with good southern food. The grilled chicken salad is awesome. There are plenty of choices of fried fish. The cuisine is extremely southern so if you were seeking sushi or Thai, this is not your place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The big chair on the front porch is always fun for photos.... The catfish, shrimp, hush puppies, and cole slaw were awesome! We had the lunch baskets, and they were enough for my daughter & I, but not for our 13 yr old son. Our waiter Jacob was not very good at all.

Whole catfish is the way to go here...It's not a bad place to eat but it's not exceptional either...there are alot worse places where one could grab a meal.
