Never had a bad meal here. Salads are delicious and entrees are very fresh. Athens little treasure. A must try.
When you take Exit 351 off of I-65 in Athens, it might be very tempting to follow the signs to several chain restaurants nearby. However, I'd like to suggest that when you make the turn leading to Cracker Barrel, that you keep bearing left rather than turning into the CB parking lot on the right. Clark's has very good food.... Very much enjoyed our late Sunday lunch! Husband and I had the filet with compound butter. They were cooked perfectly and cut like butter! We split the chocolate insanity with our three kids and all were satisfied. A little pricy, but worth a visit. We suggest you try this place if you haven't already!!
Locally owned managed and owner chef how can u go wrong Friendly service food above average and priced appropriate Special prime rib flavorful melt in mouth. Lots of side choices always choice of soup Or salad soups home made and always yummy Sit on porch for lunch or dinner nice atmosphere No alcohol served Family friendly
I love Clark's fish sandwich that they only serve at lunch time. It is one of the best I have ever eaten. We eat there fairly often and the food is very consistent and good. The wait staff is very friendly.
Plentiful food, certainly good but not anything outstanding. Convenient to the interstate. Clean and bright. Front door is a little worn and first impressions are not as good as could be. Seems always busy. I will most likely visit again but not a "destination" restaurant for me.
Lunch is delicious. I recommend the catfish fillet. Cooked to perfection and delicious sides. Cole slaw is very tasty with the catfish. Attentive service by experienced host and serves. Enjoyable atmosphere.
This is an excellent down home cooking establishment the prices are reasonable the food is delicious and you get plenty of it. We couldn't manage desert. it's Tucked away behind the travel inn just off I65 at exit 351 in Athens, Alabama.
On our way to Orange Beach we stopped at the Hampton Inn and Clark's is right next door. Greatly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Much better than chains and still haves a small town fill. I had the terryaki steak and shrimp which was excellent. Left too full to have desert.
