Located in a historic landmark, this is a must see in the Anniston area. They serve a delicious lunch during the work week. Sometimes the service can be a little slow, but lately the service has also been great!

Disappointed.... cold food. Service was great. Server tried to conpensate for poor food quality. Had some type of breakfast panini with home fries that were supposed to be smothered with cheese, greenpeppers, onion and tomato. They were tator tots and with a half slice of tomato. I had to look hard for the othet items. I asked the server that... More

We were in town from Wisconsin visiting family & found ourselves eating late lunch at the Peerless Grille. The food was outstanding ! We each ordered a different entree- shrimp po boy, BBQ pork sandwich, schnitzel & turkey pesto panini. All were delicious! We especially loved the chips & ranch we ordered. The waitstaff were super friendly & even gave... More

Good food, service, and atmosphere. Love the shrimp and grits, the fried green tomato BLT, and the onion straws. The only dish I had there so far that I wasn't that crazy about was the fish taco. I didn't think that it had enough fish in it. As will most restaurants, you just need to figure out which dishes are... More

It's small, old and a great place to eat! They have a little bit of everything, but it's all good eats at very reasonable prices. Good Southern cooking, from breakfast (served anytime) to late night snacks. Always check the chalk board at the end of the bar for the current specials in addition to all the regular menu items. You would never happen onto this little gem of a lunch spot. It is on a cross street between the two major North/South streets in the downtown area. Great lunch variety in a historic building. Some of the best sweet potato fries ever.

We frequently eat at the Peerless and have never been disappointed. The historic building and friendly staff makes it a great casual atmosphere. The food is great and reasonably priced.

We were looking for a different place and noticed this on on a side street. So glad we found it. Their menu, while not overwhelming, is quite varied. Our party of seven each got something different and no one was disappointed. My wife got the Southern Shrimp & Grits and loved it. If you're into breakfast try the Saloon Slammer... More

Tonight was my first time to eat at the peerless gril. The buliding was very nice, but I was very disappointed in my food. Everything I ordered was burnt, the staff was very rude and acted, like they could care less about there coustomers. It has great potential to be a great place to go to eat if they would fire... More

Food was good. This is an interesting, historic building in Old Anniston. I was a bit disappointed that what I ordered was slightly different from what was described on the menu, but prices are very reasonable.
