Always a good option

I haven't had anything from the menu I didn't like. If you like a chicken sandwich, order the "Big Nasty, fried, with garlic romano." It's a sandwich where the chicken is fried and tossed in a garlic romano ranch sauce, that is cheesy and delicious. That's my favorite.

Great atmosphere, historic building, friendly service. Food was wonderful, I had the catfish basket with butterbeans. I will be back my next time I'm in Anniston for a meal.

My and I have been coming here for the last few months for peerless poetry after dark, and the service has been very slow every time. It's a very cool venue, but a horrible place if you want to eat. Not that the food is bad ,but I wouldn't come here hungry, unless you want to be frustrated by the... More

I heard about this place from a colleague that was travelling with us. He had visited it 20 years ago and remembered it. It is right in the downtown area of Anniston and was easy to find. When we got there it was very quiet (Monday nights are never exactly bouncing in any bar) and when we asked about the... More

One of the best places to eat in downtown Anniston. I've tried the shrimp poboy -- light, refreshing, and super yum; and the green tomato blt which is very good. The flour chips (a side item) are one of my favorite things so be sure to order the chips appetizer or a side of flour chips.

During Vista to Anniston, we usually stop by for lunch. Service has been questionable , quality is good, nice selection. This visit was the absolute worst. Waitress took drink orders. Brought drinks. But water actually had a nasty smell. Another waitress came by about 15 minutes later to replace water. Coming around for refills, a different waitress topped off a... More

Nice, cheerful service with a varied but limited menu of regional food. Good beer choice too and a comfortable, informal interior which seems to attract the local crowd.

Everything is great here. I always get the pull pork sandwich which is great. The star of the show is the mac and cheese. So good! Rich and creamy. Prices are fair.

We LOVE this amazing local flavor. We had the beans and greens, cornbread and fresh sliced tomato and onion. Fresh sweet tea and historical pictures of the area. Awesome! Everyone treated us like family and was very welcoming. Thank you Peerless Grille. Alabama Trails Magazine
