A few notes about this place: The BBQ pork itself was good - not the best we'd ever had, but a solid B+. It was very moist and tender, but seemed to be lacking just a bit of flavor. Not sure what was missing, but it was still a very solid offering. The same can be said for our sides:... More

This is a solid eating place. Still has good bar be que, and it reminds me of the years spent in Anniston. Miss going between here and Goal Post and Dad's for the best meat eating around. Oh, and prices are very reasonable.

Betty's BBQ is by far the best BBQ in Anniston, AL! Their sides are excellent as well. Be sure to finish your meal with their out of this world lemon icebox pie or apple sticks!

We were traveling home from Atlanta and because usually the food is really good we made the detour off i20. This was on a rainy Friday a couple of weeks ago. We were seated right away as we were only about ten customers at the time. Our server came over about 15 min later. She seemed a limitless rude and... More

When I am visiting friends, I always go to Betty's for the best fried catfish in town. I cannot eat greasy food because of my acid reflux but Betty fries her catfish so well, that it is not greasy. it is just crispy and melts in your mouth. In fact, I am not a big catfish fan, so the only... More

I just wasn't impressed. The food quality was just so-so. The cornbread was super dry and half burned. Place was in the dirty side. I wouldn't go back if in the area again. Go to Brad's or better yet Cooter Brown's in Jacksonville. Totally worth the drive. Don't waste your time at Betty's if you're looking for good southern Q.

I can see why Anniston is going down hill, it seems like everyone raves about this place. Maybe all they had was home cooked food with a mother that couldn't cook. But then this is like most local restaurants here in Anniston. They even screw up Chain restaurants.
