Another "new American" place. I went there for brunch and again for dinner and really liked it. Friendly efficient service. Steak was delicious as was the breakfast food.

I found this place while walking to the Metro. I decided to take my crew there after a long day of working at the convention center. We arrived before the dinner hour so it was not too crowded. I liked the hip upscale design, I bet this joint is hoping during the rush of lunch or dinner. It was a... More

The food was fine but nothing special. The prices were not excessive but hardly cheap. Nice bar but there are better places for food. Try the fish; beat of what they have. Not saying its bad - just not amazing. Or even special.

Awful drinks, gazpacho hardly seemed comprised of local produce, trout was dry and tasteless and if fresh was poorly cooked. Kitchen doesn't seem to care. Restaurant can't last without a commitment to excellence. If ownership is absentee might as well close the doors now. Best advice I can give is listen closely to the negative comments and if they fit... More

I would definitely go back here for the cool bar/lounge scene. It is not a big place, so it does not seem to attract a throng of people, which is great. I can't really remember the drinks I had, but I liked them. We then moved to a table for dinner, and I agree that the restaurant is not really... More

Average and bland food for high prices. The sangria was great. Perhaps I will return to visit the bar, but I would not recommend the restaurant for dinner.

I had a very good steak here, and everything else was fine. Service was very attentive. It's not a stand-out sort of place, but I was staying at a hotel nearby and was very happy to eat here.

Can't speak to the food here, but I sat at the bar with a friend for two hours and greatly enjoyed ourselves. Great selection of beers on tap, very good selection of bourbons, and the bartender (wish I could remember her name) was terrific.

We were early birds and had the pick of the seating. The atmosphere is excellent and the staff attentive. My wife insisted on the shrimp grits as a starter and was not disapointed. I chose the Buttermilk Chicken which featured large portions but the batter was not exceptional. The drink offering was what one would expect in the District.
