I am a poet and came here for an open mike night. This place is VERY VERY BUSY & CROWDED!!! The crowd seemed to be in their 20's + 30's. The food is EXCELLENT!!! Well prepared, well presented & finally well devoured!!! A very "happening" spot (Inside + Directly Outside)!!!

Cool place to eat at. I like the environment. The food is good but won't blow you away. A good place to catch up with friends.

Great place to come with friends and fun food options. We had to wait awhile for our reservation but it is a fun place to go and in the middle of everything.

I had the Blackened Salmon and it was delicious. The service was great also. If you're in the area I recommend you stop by and try it.

We went to this restaurant for "just lunch" and ended up staying for a few hours! First of all, the food was TERRIFIC!! Service was great. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, which is a cross between a comfortable bookstore, a coffee-pub hangout place, and a casual place to sit and eat. We were quite comfortable just sitting, eating, chatting, and... More

I always love breakfast here, not because the food is the best, but the atmosphere is better. I always find the Turkey Sausage a bit dry here. I had the breakfast for 9 bucks ( two eyes any style, turkey sausage and fruit, plus toast) a soya mocha. Something about the buzz in this place that makes it a great... More

We have been for a dinner. We have just waited for 15 minutes but we spent this time looking for a book and drinking beer! Food and price were good! Nice!

If you like to work on your computer at restaurants, this is one of the better places to do so in DC. With a full menu and bar, you really can fall into a project for hours. And as such, they are accepting of computer-toting guests, and there are plenty of seats throughout (be warned though, it's usually hard to... More

We stumbled into this place quite by accident. We needed a place to eat dinner, and asked my GPS to list the nearby restaurants. The name of this place caught our attention. The decor is old-fashioned beatnik. Many of the tables are furnished with sofas and lounging benches rather than chairs. There are some with chairs, but we had to... More
