Good burger with too large fries

This was the best burger I have had. I dont usually visit burger restaurants but as we were near the restaurant my daughter insisted that we go for lunch. I dont regret the visit. The patties was nice and moist with lots of flavour. However the accompanying fries were too many even for two people... read more

I love Five Guys, it is cheap and worth effort. If you are desperate for burgers and fries, don't think twice: Five Guys. The free peanuts are the must

The place is exactly what you would expect from a street burger place. Open almost always, friendly staff, fast service. The meat is good, and well cooked. The bread is not up to my expectations, unfortunately. The topping is to your selection, so no surprises here. The fried potatoes are good. Not to the level of the Belgian one, but... More

The burger was juicy but too much such that it was dripping with lots of oil. The only thing that made me feel it was healthy enough were the veggies that came with it since I asked for "everything" on it. The fries tasted burnt. Overall, the experience was just okay and made me wonder why it was voted the... More

I stopped in for a late lunch while wandering in Georgetown. Though I'm not a big burger eater, it seemed like a casual place to grab a quick bite and continue on browsing the area shops. What a mistake! After placing my order it took over 30 minutes to get my food. They seemed to have several people working in... More

A pretty damn good burger place! I went several times when in DC back in 2008 ... I love the toppings concept ... pretty good option for a burger.

The original 5 Guys was very good....the price was reasonable and the Hamburgers and Fries tasted fresh. I don't know what happened but after they expanded the quality of the food isn't the same???

We (me, wife, 10 yo) agreed that this was the best burger we have had in a long time. The fries were horrible though. Be aware that you need to specify everything that goes on the burger, so make sure that you have read the topping options before ordering.

My favorite burger used to be the Whopper; but, unfortunately the last time I had one, the quality had gone down. I would rate Five Guys and the Whopper even. Didn't like the Five Guys fries which were soggy, limp, and over salted. All this said, the place was packed, so someone must like the food. Just not me.
