Good old traditional five guys location

Just a short walk (10 mins) from the main high Street in Georgetown. Looks like an old converted bar with the bar still there. Service wasn't the fastest but they were friendly but the burger and dog tasted good.

Food here was great. We shared fries after reading other reviewers about portion sizes and appreciate the tip. Had a short, uncomfortable wait to order food, as all staff were in the kitchen and nobody seemed interested. We were also buzzed repeatedly by flies while eating, so hopefully this was an isolated incident and not something the restaurant needs to... More

I know Five Guys. It's a formula and it works. But in this location, they can't seem to get it right. I was there late at night and though there were about 15 people eating, I was one of only two with a current order up that I could see. When it came, the bacon cheeseburger with lettuce turned out... While I’m glad that the Five Guys chain didn’t change the basic layout of the historic Au Pied de Cochon restaurant and bar, it’s still a bummer that the former Cold War spy hangout has been transformed into an upscale fast food joint. I agree with some other positive reviews that the burgers are better than average, and that the... More

I love Five Guys, it is cheap and worth effort. If you are desperate for burgers and fries, don't think twice: Five Guys. The free peanuts are the must

The place is exactly what you would expect from a street burger place. Open almost always, friendly staff, fast service. The meat is good, and well cooked. The bread is not up to my expectations, unfortunately. The topping is to your selection, so no surprises here. The fried potatoes are good. Not to the level of the Belgian one, but... More

This was the best burger I have had. I dont usually visit burger restaurants but as we were near the restaurant my daughter insisted that we go for lunch. I dont regret the visit. The patties was nice and moist with lots of flavour. However the accompanying fries were too many even for two people. Perhaps should have ordered a... More

The burger was juicy but too much such that it was dripping with lots of oil. The only thing that made me feel it was healthy enough were the veggies that came with it since I asked for "everything" on it. The fries tasted burnt. Overall, the experience was just okay and made me wonder why it was voted the... More
