Was starving when we arrived in DC and were desperately looking for a quick meal, so the staff at the Softel hotel recommended 5 guys It was just around the corner and the place looked welcoming. Placing the order was quick and easy and the burger and fries were ready in minutes

I went there for dinner. We were five and each of us ordered different burgers and hotdogs. Mine was little bacon cheese burgers with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms and mayo. The burger was good but nothing extraordinary. The price was affordable. As for mine, it cost me 6.09$ without tax. You can add as many free toppings as you want.... More

Actually, of the few 5 guys I've been to around the country, it's the best amongst them as well. Portion sizes are huge (don't think I've ever been able to finish a burger in the restaurant). Mostly locals and college students. Great for a casual night out. Cheap food, especially for DC.

My son really wanted a cheeseburger because we had been eating at a lot of the various ethic establishments in D.C. He was so happy, they were nice and they give you an enormous amount of fries lol WE should have all shared an order.

Five Guys is the kind of restaurant you want to go when you visit the US, cause it looks like the US, it feels like there and, above all, it tastes like there! The burgers are not only delicious, they are enormous, not to mention the fries portions that I guess you'll have great trouble to finish. Go there, eat... More

These burgers are consistently excellent. So are the fries. Everything is made fresh and to order. Only complaint I've ever heard about this place is from someone who does not like burgers and is on a bland diet. Eating here is a nice and affodable splurge.

It's true what they all say.....you get a really good burger at Five Guys. The portions of fries are massive. Great value, just what was needed on a rainy arrival in Washington!

I had seen Five Guys featured on a tv show and when I unexpectedly found myself walking past one, I had to stop in. The burger was very tasty. The fries were just ok. My batch was significantly overcooked, but if they were cooked right, i'm sure they would have tasted just as great as the burger. And they give... More

I don't think I will visit Five Guys again. I was overwhelmed by the amount of smoke coming from the shop. As I was standing in line waiting for my lunch, I realized that I would smell like charred meat for the rest of the day, and I was right. When I did receive my food, it tasted fine, but... More
