This is a nice place for an outdoor lunch, weather permitting. The menu is New Orleans Cajun, but offers even more. Try the gumbo, it is really good. I also tried the shrimp and grits. The grits come as a cake, not what I expected and unfortunately it was rather dry. I more like the shrimp and grits from the... More

We found the restaurant by mistake, but we loved it. Took a cab from our hotel because parking is limited. Terrific service, delicious food and an excellent menu selection. We were most impressed with the prices which we thought were quite reasonable for our Nation's capitol.

Acadiana feels like New Orleans! The food and service is great and the atmosphere is soooo laid back you don't want to leave the place.

Very convenient to the hotel, food was good but the portions were very small. Being from New Orleans we are use to larger serving portions. Service was average but the atmosphere was good. Pricey.

I have dined at this location several times to get a good assessment. The location is convenient to the convention center and surrounding popular hotels. Reservations are suggested for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is rather upscale and nicely appointed. They have a nice jazz brunch with music, and decent happy hour scene. The service can be indifferent, depending on... More

Let Acadiana know, through OpenTable, that it was our 9th Anniversary dinner. We were greeted with a "Happy Anniversary" and our menus were specially printed with "Happy 9th Anniversary" on it. They also decorated our dessert plate with "Happy Anniversary" and gave it to us free. Very happy with Acadiana (and the food was very good as well)!

Needed a nice restaurant near the convention center for a light lunch at an odd hour. We sat outdoors on a quiet patio, had glass of wine from a good wine list. Food excellent. Would come back for happy hour or for dinner.

This WAS one of my favorite restaurants in DC and the duck WAS my go-to meal whenever I visited. However, upon my recent visit I was very disappointed. My lemon drop martini was made with No craftsmanship What so ever. The deviled eggs trio was not Good. They tasted like they were over cooked and the steak tartare selection was... More

You can't go wrong with this restaurant. Acadiana scores bonus points for having one of the best restaurant week setups in D.C. I don't know if they do it every year, but this year they allowed guests to choose from a limited set of appetizers and desserts, but then pick any entree from the regular menu (with a small upcharge...
