We arrived late (8:30 pm) to our hotel in Washington DC, and didn't want to go far for dinner. This restaurant was around the corner from the Embassy Suites, so the short walk was perfect. We wanted to eat light - the mussels dishes were just what we wanted - and very nice wines by the glass to go with... More

I visited Brasserie Beck on the recommendation of my hotel staff, and I was incredibly pleased with all aspects of my meal. I had never dined here before, and will probably never be back as I live in Upstate New York. Yet I enjoyed the place so much that I toyed with the idea of dining there the following evenings... The menu is what you expect from a real European brasserie. Not a too wide choice of dishes. Good wine and beer list. The prices are fair and the venues is modern yet inspired from 30s train stations. A nice moment for good food!

A comfortable atmosphere to enjoy Belgium cooking. The team of chefs working in the exhibition kitchen is a sight to see. They prepare hearty dishes such as lamb shank and duck. The raw bar offers an excellant selection of shellfish. There is also a beer menu with an exclusive selection of Belgium beers. Prices are moderate to high.

No matter when we have gone here, busy times, off-times, day or night the wait staff always is inattentive and acts put out. Food is fine--nothing special for Belgian food(we lived there for several years), but the wait staff really do nothing to make a diner happy with coming there to eat. We eat here because it is close to... More

Was a business meeting, and they did a cocktail hour before. Wine list was uninspiring, appetizers were good but nothing great, and dinner was similar. I had snapper with ratatouille, not bad but too salty.

Looking lite and filling me and choose the shrimp and ravioli. Great dish. Outside seating nice. Reasonable price for the area.

We were introduced to Brasserie Beck when we first moved to the DC area about 2 years ago. Ever since, this has been our go-to brunch spot where we bring friends and family who come up to visit. We live an hour outside of DC, but make special trips into the city just to eat here. The food is fantastic... More

We made a last minute reservation at Brasserie Beck and are glad we did. We sat on the patio even though it was a little windy and cold, and were just fine with the heat towers and protection of umbrellas and the building. The cheese plate was terrific - we had our server pick out three selections and loved each... More
