Surprise not every DC diner is on an expense account! BB is one of my favorite restaurants but the price/quality ratio is out of whack. Steak and frites should never ever be over $30. The mussels dishes are excellent, but a small order is plenty.

It was easy to make a reservation on open table and got in on a nice table in a packed restaurant. Wonderful food and beer selections. We had the best ever crab cakes for an appetizer that came with a lite salad on the side. I can't remember our entree except for that they were delicious. The thing that topped... More

A set menu was booked for a work party of 16 of us. The food was absolutely fantastic - lobster bisque followed by an amazing pork belly. The main course of beef was very good, but others had the chicken which was even better - just melt in the mouth. But there were no vegetables with ANY of the savoury... More

Found this fantastic brasserie around the corner from my hotel Good basic Belgian/French menu with what you would expect and a beautiful bar area with excellent selection of beers and decent wine list. What made this place great was the service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who went out of their way to make me feel very welcome after discovering my... More

Wow, such a lovely room and such a charming server, interesting menu, we were excited to try this new place. The mussels were good, as you would expect of a Belgian brasserie, but tiny. The 3 house-made mayos were fab. The fries -- frites -- were also yummy although oddly enough unsalted, and no salt at the table. We managed... More

We had the pheasant and the sea bass plat du jour--both were excellent. Bread was just-out-of-the-oven fresh and was good enough to be a meal on its own. Service was perfect--friendly and attentive. Dessert was good and the French press coffee service was a nice way to cap off a great meal.

Made an 11:30 reservation for brunch. Arrived and it looked like we were the only ones there. By 11:40, the place was packed! Great atmosphere. We were seated in an area that was quiet and quaint. Started with the Mediterranean mussels, yum! At the table we had waffles, a Leo (eggs with salmon), and chicken and waffles! All were delicious!... More

We called to make a reservation well ahead of time and had no problem securing a table at a 8:30. We arrived at 8:15 and were told the table would be ready shortly. No problem, we'll have a drink at the bar. Two drinks later, around 9:00 I asked where we were on the list and was told it would... More
