Excellent Restaurant

We ate at the Brasserie Beck for lunch and had an excellent meal with excellent service. Their Mussel with Thai Curry were tasty and a very nice portion. We had a private party for 50 people there, and the staff working our party, were without doubt way above the average. Friendly, attentive... read more

Beautiful, trendy restaurant with fabulous outdoor seating and wonderful staff. Food, in my opinion is a bit overpriced but I would recommend the Spicy Thai Mussels all day and everyday!

We've been here a few times. Mainly because they have one of the better outdoor seating areas in DC, and their mussels are amazing. However, we went last night and it made us seriously doubt whether we'll go back. The service was awful. They've always had poor service, but it was a new low last night. Our server took the... Delicious food on a sunny day al fresco! We had omelets, Eggs Benedict, a salad with tuna tartar. Excellent waitress who guided us through the best choices. Magical experience.

Had a drink at the bar - happy hour was good. However, they charged me $7 for a fizzy water to go with my $4 drink - not cool. Then, all four of us ordered mussels, and they were all pretty bland. The sauce didn't have much flavor, and the tables are too small for the plates! By the time... More

We had dinner here for the first time. Grilled Octopus A-, Mussel flavored with wild mushroom A+, Pork Shank A+, Pork Sauerkraut B+. Service was good, large room filled with people tend to be more nosier than usual. But the overall dining experience was great

Brasserie Beck in Washington D.C. is a wonderful restaurant! Each dish ordered at our table was delicious. My favorites were the duck, mussels and macaroons for dessert. If you are a fan of Belgium beers, then this place is for you. They do not offer a large selection of beers, but the quality is better than quantity. The wine selection... More

I ordered for an entre the bone in Fillet mignon. Cooked perfectly and delicious. The wine was superior. The desert was delivered. but I did not order it but decided to taste it and was the perfect ending to a great meal a Crème bole! Mark was the server. Attentive! and apparently a mind reader!

Despite a reservation we had to wait quite a bit to be seated. Assigned table was near entrance, not the best seat in the house. I had the classic white wine mussels and my wife had beef carbonnade. Both dishes were on the spot taste wise and quality wise, 5 stars. Waiter could have been a little more attentive. Overall... More

We ate dinner here and enjoyed our meal. We started with the Charcuterie Plate which was great! My husband had the Classic Mussels and Frites and enjoyed them, but when I stole a Mussel from him I did find it to have a bit of sand in it - guess I was unlucky. We shared a dessert, a Chocolate cake... More
