Second visit not as good as the first

Five colleagues dined here last night and had great food--mussels, steaks, crispy duck, mushroom soup, Brussel Sprouts and warm brown bread--no complaints at all here. The problems were uninspired service, a very small wine list by the glass, and the draft beers were malfunctioning. These events... read more

A colleague and I enjoyed a terrific business lunch at this charming Belgium style restaurant. The environment is warm and friendly - the decor is lovely and seating very comfortable. Service was superior and the food was fabulous. I enjoyed outstanding onion soup and a roasted beet salad. I highly recommend Brasserie Beck!

Very good food and very professional service. We very much enjoyed the evening with another couple. It was our first time at the restaurant and we will definitely return. Each of our entrees was very good. Good wine selection in addition to a large selection of beers.

This is a small neighborhood place just a block from City Center, so very conveniently located. We went during Restaurant Week so it was busy. They have a great selection of Belgian beers and were fun to try. The best one was called Double Blond--delicious! My husband enjoyed his chocolate brûlée the most. But I loved all of my dishes.... Had a reservation for 3 at 715pm on a Tuesday night. At 745 we were told "sorry, a little longer" while people after people were being seated. Left at 8. Manager said: sorry about that. Not good!

This is one of my favorites restaurants in the city. From brunch to dinner, it is always great. Excellent service, very professionals personnel. Everyone (bread/water boys, someliers, waiters, etc) are very friendly. Chef tends to add delicious special, and their "normal" menu" is excellent as well. Highly recommended.

Great Belgian beer selection. They really knew their beers here. The food was a little pricy and not amazing, but solid nonetheless. Service was stellar all around. Great place for business dinners.

I don't usually give 4 stars for places with little to no vegetarian options, but I went here with work and they were incredibly accommodating for me and the chef made me a special option and the service was amazing. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the place is really stunning. It's more than I would spend... More

Since it claims to be a Belgian brasserie, we ordered a "Classic" mussels with white wine, roasted garlic and cream along with a grilled octopus. Both were very good. Mussels were plump and tasty. The accompanying fried potatoes (Belgian fries?) were excellent with three kinds of dipping. You should soak up the cream sauce with bread (very good by the... More

I read decent reviews of the restaurant so decided to try it for NYE dinner. Like many reviews on here I found the food to be decent but with such high reviews and high prices, left wanting more. I will give high marks on the bread, drinks, and food presentation. Service was friendly and efficient too. There are worse places... More
