Outside seating and a great selection of beers!

Went to this restaurant for dinner while at a conference at the Convention Center which is 2 blocks away. Place was busy on a Friday evening but we were seated without a reservation ( though it was only 6.45pm) Excellent choice of beers and the food was also good. Had the special- bronzino- which... read more

My husband and I truly enjoyed our experience at Brasserie Beck, while on vacation in D.C. We chose to sit outside on the huge, inviting patio. There was live music, but kept at a noise level that allowed us to enjoy conversation and the "city noise." Our waiter was extremely attentive and helpful. We told him what we would be... More

Amazing...everything was delicious. Had classic mussels, 3 cheese plate, bone marrow, 2 types of wine and the pistachio ice cream. Fantastic! Great atmosphere and wonderful waiter not sure name Javier or similar. Super helpful.

This is probably my favorite restaurant, period. After my last meeting of the day, I love to slip in around 4pm to beat the after-work crowd for happy hour and sit at the bar with a full menu. One of their Happy Hour specials is oysters and bubbly. How can you beat that. The beer menu is fascinating with great... More

I bought a friend dinner here after she had driven me to DC. We both really enjoyed this brasserie. It was very busy on a Friday night, but the service was terrific. They even hailed a taxi for us. The food was very good and good value for money. I hope to go again. Definitely recommended.

I had a bone marrow appetizer that was perfectly done with grilled bread and pickled radish or daikon. It was very tasty. The main was a NY strip steak fritte with a sauce and greens. Very tasty. For dessert we had the party cakes, which are like Hostess twinkles and cupcakes house made. That was fun. Friend had the crock... More

Stumbled onto this restaurant with no idea of its history or legacy... was literally lost and this looked as good a place as any to dine. That said, I felt clearly under-dressed as I arrived wearing sneakers, jeans and a "pennywise" t-shirt. Nevertheless, staff treated me no differently to any other customer and happily seated me outside as I had... More

Having lived in Brussels for two years, we long for good moules and frites. With memories of Rue Les Petite Brouchers near the Grand Place, we happened upon Brasserie Beck in D.C. and discovered an eatery to satisfy our Belgian memories. The three course early bird dinner pre-theater menu is great value and absolutely delicious. The wide selection of Belgian... More

A group of six dined at this busy place on a June Tuesday night during a monsoon like storm. As a result we couldn't eat on the usually inviting patio, but got a ring side seat watching the kitchen, which was whipping out a great variety of wonderful food. This is a European style brasserie with a decidedly Belgian flair... More
