The main was amazing

Stumbled onto this restaurant with no idea of its history or legacy... was literally lost and this looked as good a place as any to dine. That said, I felt clearly under-dressed as I arrived wearing sneakers, jeans and a "pennywise" t-shirt. Nevertheless, staff treated me no differently to any... read more

Having lived in Brussels for two years, we long for good moules and frites. With memories of Rue Les Petite Brouchers near the Grand Place, we happened upon Brasserie Beck in D.C. and discovered an eatery to satisfy our Belgian memories. The three course early bird dinner pre-theater menu is great value and absolutely delicious. The wide selection of Belgian... More

A group of six dined at this busy place on a June Tuesday night during a monsoon like storm. As a result we couldn't eat on the usually inviting patio, but got a ring side seat watching the kitchen, which was whipping out a great variety of wonderful food. This is a European style brasserie with a decidedly Belgian flair... More

Had a delicious meal here last night. I had a house salad and the mussels with garlic and cream sauce. They were delicious. It was served with warm crusty bread that was excellent especially when dipped into the mussels cream sauce. Had a bite of the chocolate dessert. Sinfully rich and delicious.

Fresh mussels, Belgian-style pommes frites, and an interesting selection of draft beers, this place is ideal for after-work drinks in its bar section, as well as welcoming groups for dinner. Belgian chef Robert Wiedmaier is loyal to is roots and will bring your taste buds to his home country. Large patio with shade. Approx 22-35$/entrees. At least 50$/person

Based on the previous recent reviews, we were looking forward to dining here and we were not disappointed. Our party thoroughly enjoyed their meals including the belgian beers that were ordered. I had a croque Monsieur while visiting Brussels and so I had to try the croque madam; it was delicious and too big of a sandwich for me to... More

I've been going to Brasserie Beck for years and figured it good time to provide another kind word, as this place is consistent excellence. First, the beer list - oh, the beer list. If you like good beers, particularly belgian beers, then there are few better places in DC. When it comes to food the mussels still the show. They... More

This was a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. Loved the atmosphere and the food was excellent. I would highly suggest the cheese plate! They also have a very wide range of craft beers to offer, which is a huge bonus for us. Would come back again!

Food was good but no better than elsewhere. Service very poor. Ordered a side which came half way through meal and that was after asking where it was when the main dishes were brought out. Waiter seemed disinterested
