It is wonderful to visit the USA these days and actually have a good meal. This restaurant serves great food delivered with friendly and attentive service and has a great atmosphere. The cuisine is sort of Belgian/French with North Italian overtones and is hugely enjoyable. Outside of New York and San Francisco one of the best US restaurants we have... more

Brasserie Beck offers a stunning array of premium Belgian beers and ales, many on tap, and has sans doute the finest mussels in the Washington DC market. Our views have been confirmed by repeated visits over more than a year. We love the place. more

Perhaps we hit this place on an off night. The server seemed extremely distracted. I think there must have been an incident before we arrived. I had the beef stew which was marginal and husband had the coq au vin which I thought was too dry. I ordered a $10.00 glas of Oregon Pinot Noir which is hard to mess... more

This is a great little spot on K Street. The beer list is wonderful. The staff was great and pointing out tasty brews to try. The food was incredible. It was pricey but well worth it. Next best thing to going to Brussels! more

Ate outside on a beautiful day. Had items from the brunch menu. Belgian waffle was amazing. Bread was good. Omelette with smoked salmon was just ok, I guess I don't like smoked salmon actually in my omelette I learned. Service was mostly good. more

I thought the food was well-prepared, but we didn't feel like we got good value for the money. The waiter seemed more like the kind of person you'd encounter at a family dining establishment -- nice person trying hard, but unpolished. The main dishes at about $25 per person were probably reasonably priced for a big city, but $14 for... more

Very nice decor. Fantastic food. Try their version of french fries. Best I've ever had. The trout dish was wonderful. Deserts were great as well. A little pricey, but worth it. more

Stopped by this restaurant after a Wizards game and had some frites and waffles at the bar while my husband tried the various draft beers. The bartender was friendly and gave samples of the beer. They had quite a selection of unique beers and the Belgian waffles were pretty good too. Only peeked into the restaurant part, but it looked... more

I had lunch at Brasserie Beck, as part of a business meeting. The staff were friendly and efficient, with just the right amount of attention, but never too fussy or intrusive. The food - mussels prepared various ways - was excellent. Since it was a working day, I didn't get the chance to try any of the beers, but Belgian... more
