Excellent meal

I went for lunch with my kids. We had the shrimp burger, some chicken sandwiches and some rice as well. They tasted delicious. The only issue was they were a little too spicy for the kids (even after I asked the waiter if it was spicy, which he answered "no"). Other than that it was great.

Always terrific. My to go lunch spot and drinks after work. Lunch: #Everything on the menu is terrific. from the tuna tartar tacos to the best Wagyu burger in DC to alol the Asian inspired main plates my fav drunken noodles. Cocktail hour. BEST cocktails: Pandora's Box and Pavlov's Dog, actually I do not dislike any of the offerings. Which... More

We have been to The Source Restaurant at The Newseum 3 times, all for special occasions - made more special by Wolfgang's fabulous food! Every bite delivered subtle, perfect flavor and produced oohs and aahs. The service was attentive, but unobtrusive. And, when they offered a perfect Grappa with dessert, well...it was a perfect finish. It didn't hurt that Michelle... More

For a Puck restaurant...I expected a little more when it came to level of service and friendliness of staff. The hosts were very friendly, but after that the service took a dive. It was almost as if it was an inconvenience for our server to wait on us. The salad and noodle bowl were good, but the salad size was... More

We went with family and friends to the Source- next door to the Newsmuseum. The food is mostly Dim Sum. You can order flights of 5 or 8 tastes- some come 2 to the order some have more. The waitstaff was great in giving details and recommendations. One of our party could not eat pork so they helped build selections... More

Original plans for dinner fell through, and this place was able to accommodate our party of 11 on short notice, which was fantastic. But overall the food was quite mediocre, and given the prices, this is really not acceptable. Service was excellent, and our children were treated to freshly baked cookies on the house. The decor is clean, modern, and... More

Stopped here after visiting the Newseum. It's a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. We ate in the bar - drinks were great. During happy hour you can get appetizers at special prices. Try the tuna tartare and bilini and caviar. Excellent. Our waiter was wonderful and very knowledgable about the menu.

Visited for my birthday with my wife and two friends. We all had the tasting menu some with wine some not. I don't eat meat and the waiter was super accommodating having the menu adapted. One of our friends didn't care to eat anything spicy and again she was very well looked after. When a drink was forgotten and I... More

A friend took me here for lunch to celebrate a milestone. So I was expecting something nicer than fast casual. I had been to the Newseum several times, but never at at The Source, which is attached to the Newseum(which is a must visit!). The space is bright and airy. We were seated upstairs, and I did see an elevator... More
