We went for a snack but had more than enough for dinner (plus take home!) The appetizers are great--very imaginative and quite delicious. And the happy hour prices provide an unbelievable value, especially the sushi. We make it a point to visit here every time we're in Washington. The ambiance was also very pleasing. Even the location is great, just... More

This is one of our favorite Washington, D.C. restaurants but we had never been with anyone with multiple food alergies. She said that no restaurant had ever been as painstakingly careful about what they served her, even cleaning the grill before preparing her pork chops. Because of her alergies, food is not that important to her. The Source has gone... More

I've been to The Source several times for dinner and the food and experience has always been excellent. I recently went with a group of 4 for the Dim Sum brunch, and was pleasantly surprised (despite reasonably high expectations) by the menu and the experience. I ordered 8 plates instead of 5 (small up-charge) because there were so many dishes... More

I was surprised to see some other "underwhelming" reviews of The Source because we had an absolutely fantastic experience here. We had multiple small plates, two entrees, and dessert here. The service was great and the tuna tartare appetizer is addictive. Dumplings were great as well. Hats off to the Sommelier for the wine recommendations. Only downside to this place... More

My review is most relevant to those who are coming in not as asian fusion lovers or particularly adventurous eaters. Clearly this restaurant is beloved by many and I'm sure fans will say that my tastes are not refined enough for this cuisine. To that I say whatever. I'm sure there are others who will feel the way I do,... More

I wish they offered better happy hour deals but the food is great. Try the beef sliders. Wine selection is good. It's quiet I think because it's expensive.

Puck has done it again with this very trendy and upscale place near the Newseum. The bar scene is hip, and mostly people in their 30s/40s, not a bunch of old fogies, the food is interesting if a bit overwrought sometimes. Overall a great place for lunch or happy hour.

Another part of the Wolfgang Puck culinary empire. It is a fusion style restaurant with two levels located on the back side of the Newseum. The food and ambiance is great. The prices generally reflect this.

This restaurant does not get a lot of buzz but now that I have been here, I am not sure why. The dining room and bar are sleek and modern but still inviting. The evening did not start out well as it took 20 minutes before we had our cocktails. All was forgiven once our appetizers arrived. The tuna tartare... More

We went there for lunch and the food was served quite fast, yet the service was perfect and the food was delicate and fresh. The restaurant is conveniently located on the other side of the Newseum entrance.
