Excellent meal

I went for lunch with my kids. We had the shrimp burger, some chicken sandwiches and some rice as well. They tasted delicious. The only issue was they were a little too spicy for the kids (even after I asked the waiter if it was spicy, which he answered "no"). Other than that it was great.

Original plans for dinner fell through, and this place was able to accommodate our party of 11 on short notice, which was fantastic. But overall the food was quite mediocre, and given the prices, this is really not acceptable. Service was excellent, and our children were treated to freshly baked cookies on the house. The decor is clean, modern, and... More

Stopped here after visiting the Newseum. It's a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. We ate in the bar - drinks were great. During happy hour you can get appetizers at special prices. Try the tuna tartare and bilini and caviar. Excellent. Our waiter was wonderful and very knowledgable about the menu.

Visited for my birthday with my wife and two friends. We all had the tasting menu some with wine some not. I don't eat meat and the waiter was super accommodating having the menu adapted. One of our friends didn't care to eat anything spicy and again she was very well looked after. When a drink was forgotten and I... More

A friend took me here for lunch to celebrate a milestone. So I was expecting something nicer than fast casual. I had been to the Newseum several times, but never at at The Source, which is attached to the Newseum(which is a must visit!). The space is bright and airy. We were seated upstairs, and I did see an elevator... More

This was my second visit to Source. The first time the food was great but the service was awful. I was hoping for a different experience this time. No such luck. Just like last time it was 20 minutes from the time we were seated until we had drinks in our hands. The appetizers appeared on time but it was... More

Sadly this was one experience ruined by inconsistent and sporadic service. We ordered 8 little dim sum dishes and twice the server had to be reminded of what we had received and what we had not. They bought the same dishes to the table multiple times. I told the server we'd already had that dish only for them to shrug... More

This high end Wolfgang Puck restaurant is right next to the Newseum. The food is Asian accented but very modern.
