Looking at other reviews, I guess it is expensive, but the food is really delicious, so I don't care. (Actually, it seems that restaurant prices in DC are all pretty high, so I am not even sure "expensive" is a fair criticism.) We were there for lunch. I had the curry duck. Really, really good. My wife had lobster and... More

Had heard good reviews when it first opened but our first visit was sorely disappointing . The upstairs dinning room was noisy, the service indifferent and the food was at best mediocre. People in the group ordered fish, duck and chicken dishes all of which were not a great success when you noticed that a lot was left uneaten .... More

Our party of 4 all had outstanding items on all courses. the waiter was most attentive, friendly and gave good advice on wine pairings. This was the best dinner we had during our visit to DC.

Found this place by chance trying to escape from torrential rain on a visit to the Newseum next door. We shared a selection of dumplings and sides for lunch and they were outstanding - we enjoyed them all. The riot of vegetables was so much more than a plate of vegetables. Best restaurant by far that visited during my trip... More

The place has lost its edge. It is too pricey for what they offer. The food is OK but not excellent. If you are spending 70-80 bucks a head (including a drink) it better be pretty good and it just is not, Spend you cash elsewhere.

I am usually skeptical of Restaurant week offerings but I am a fan of Wolfgang Puck. And given that even his airport restaurants don't disappoint, I was excited to finally give this restaurant a try. Of the lunch options, I decided to go with the "hot pot" dish. When it came, it was not quite what I was expecting and... More

With dinner reservations promptly seated. Then the big rush was on to order drinks and dinner. Our drinks arrived and were made with the wrong mix. After about 10 minutes were able to attract someone's attention and then with apologies another waiter corrected the mistake. Starters arrived all at the same time and then dinner flew in. Our waiter was... More

Lunch was wonderful ... the service was a bit slow at first ,but once the waiter took my order, everything was fine. I had the blue crab cake BLT and the Tahitian sour cream cheesecake....it was simply delicious ...I have been to other Wolfgang Puck restaurants ,and this place does not disappoint.. I was visiting the Newseum earlier and presented my... More

We went 'on spec' on Saturday lunchtime and managed to wait only 15 mins for a table. We had the 8 tapas for $42 and we'd order all but one again. This was a personal taste thing rather than a lack of quality. The service was excellent. I think there was a small mess up in the kitchen and we... More
