My husband and I went on a Wednesday night to find the place packed. We had reservations and showed up 30 mins early due to light traffic. The bar menu of cocktails is amazing. A delicious Cucumber Vesper and Crimson Delirium later our table was ready. Right on the dot. The bar was loaded with folks waiting for take out.... more

Make sure you get the heavenly spinach starter, do not even consider not having it! The other dishes we had were also good, but not the same class as the 5 star spinach dish. A rather stylish Indian restaurant with a good vibe and good service. Would definately return if in D.C. again, maybe making it a double crispy fried... more

Rasika is a great value as the meals are moderately priced and the food is absolutely wonderful. I'm a Washingtonian and go here often because it's just that amazing. I have Indian restaurants in my neighborhood which are decent, but why go there when I could go a few Metro stops further for a fantastic meal. more

I've been to several indian places that served better food (not in DC) but the food was still pretty decent. What I liked most about the place was that it's trendy and fun, which I haven't experienced at most indian restaurants. What surprised me the most was that the food was actually pretty affordable. more

Upscale and modern Indian food in a modern attractive space. Some of the dishes we had were a bit on the spicy side (we were warned and other less spicy dishes are on the menu) but the flavor was amazing. The service was also amazing other than the drinks seemed to take a while to come. When the restaurant filled... more

Every time I go to this place the taste will linger for days. Woah palak chaat is top notch, kabobs mouth watering, mango shrimp delicious, fish is delicacy. Best value for money is trying their 4 course dinner. Place to be at least once if you are in DC. more

Overall, the best modern indian food in DC. Not your typical greasy, dumbed downed indian found in most places. The cod was amazing. The palak chat lives up to its billing more

I didn't know enough about Indian food to understand what the selections were going to be. Particularly, I couldn't tell from the menu which items were hot or mild or which items came with rice or sides. I ended up getting two items which were too spicy hot for me to enjoy, so I was disappointed with my experience. It's... more

I am a vegetarian, so I don't have much to say about meat entrees, but this was the best meal I have ever eaten. All I have to say is get the fried spinach...can't remember what it is called (under savorys). The restaurant is really cute and the service was great too. I was surprised how reasonable the prices were... more

We took the advice of trip advisor and chose Rasika because of the #1 rating, and we were not disappointed. The bar waiter was excellent in describing a drink to me that I wanted to try (can't remember the name but it had gin, campari, and blood red OJ). The waiter at the table and the nearby customers suggested we... more
