It is difficult to choose what to order because the whole menu appears very attractive. The spicy appetizer and grilled entrée that I had for lunch were great. However, the next time I have the opportunity to be in Washington, I will try another totally different combination of dishes of the menu when for sure I will eat in any... More

Great vibe, waitress, and evening. We enjoyed our dinner of Lamb, Chicken Tikka Masala, and naan with mint. We also had a delicious eggplant and potato dish. Kingfisher beers. We booked by calling them for the reservation a week in advance; it's recommended! Location is good near 6th. We were not with our kids, and I only saw one kid.... More

Everybody RAVES about the crispy spinach salad, so I had to try it and see what the fuss was all about. Although I had very high expectations, I was still really surprised by this delicious salad! I'll go back just for the salad. It was that good and I'm not usually one to rave about spinach. We also shared a... More

It's fantastic to see Indian food taking risks, and this one did it very well. There was a brand new lobster dish the night we went which was phenomenal to say the least. You won't get very many old standards here - so don't come for Vindaloo or Rogan Josh necessarily, but you will have some interesting culinary choices. We... More

Some college alumni friends of my wife invited us to lunch at Rasika. As typical suburbanites, we do not generally venture into DC on a weekday afternoon, but having read the reviews about this restaurant, we anted to give it a try. The service was impeccable from the time we walked in until we left, our waiter was fantastic and... More

I had lunch at Rasika just before visiting the nearby National Gallery. I based my choices on some of the rave reviews Rasika has receives on Tripadvisor. As advised, I started with the Palak Chaat, lightly fried baby spinach with yogurt, cardamon, etc. What a magnificent taste. Next time, I'll have it for dessert too. My Chicken Tikka Masala was... This is quite possibly the best restaurant I have ever been to. Service was flawless. Every thing we tried was awesome. Can't say enough accolades for this place.

We are visiting Washington for a few days and happened to be in the area of the place so we came in for lunch after searching Trip Advisor. It is as great as most people say it is. I love Indian food and this is truly one of the more unique experiences I had with Indian food.

My husband and I visited Rasika this past weekend and it was absolutely amazing. My family is Indian and I have high standards when it comes to Indian food. We got the 6 course tasting menu and highly recommend it. Honestly, if you're willing to splurge, it's a must because we tried delicious dishes we may not have ordered. We... More
