We were two couples for dinner, and really enjoyed Rasika - very good food and service. I think this might be a good place to focus on a number of appetizers - there's a wide choice and some are excellent - particularly the fried spinach, a must! This is a handsome restaurant and didn't seem as crowded as it was.

I am a big fan of Rasika and dine there quite often before Caps games and a bit less frequently during the summer. The food is outstanding and the service attentive and prompt. Try to sit in the front of the restaurant if you want a more white table cloth experience. You can also sit in front of the kitchen... More

very good indian food with french fusion influence. I used to go to the original downtown for lunch when I worked in DC but have been to the one near dupont circle since and it is every bit as good.

I only took off one star on the rating due to cost. I know living in DC comes with a price but I have experienced dining at this level for less in the District. With that said, we opted for the chef's tasting menu and were delighted with the selections. They were well sized and of a great variety. All... More

The food is very good - especially the palak chaat and mango shrimp - but be prepared to shell out some $$$. It's great to come here for a special occasion, but not as a frequent go-to. I can offer other different spots for a casual place.

The food is pretty good and service is great. Was very busy when we visited and got place only at the bar. But the barman was great and we really enjoyed the service

This is one of the very best restaurants in the DC area. I have been there for both lunch and dinner, and it has never failed to impress me. The dishes are incredibly varied, and unlike many DC area restaurants, this is one where vegetarians can eat as well as can carnivores. From start to finish this is a polished... More

If you haven't eaten at Rasika yet you are missing out on superb Indian food in downtown DC. Served in beautiful surroundings. A crowd favorite include Palak Chaat a delightful savory made with crispy baby spinach, sweet yogurt, tamarind and date chutney. If you are on a budget the pre-theatre dinner till 6:30pm for $35.00 allows for a choice of... More

My wife and I (both Vegetarians) were in DC for a couple of days and Rasika came up as the most recommended Indian restaurant to go to. After our share of Mexican and American food for a few days, we headed here just to see how good it really is. On a Monday night, they were fully reserved and told... More
