Amazing food

I absolutely loved the food here, it was fantastic. I highly suggest trying the onion and sage naan if you can, it is a splendid mixture of flavor.

Enjoyed an amazing birthday dinner with my family at Rasika! Loved the spinach appetizer and the chicken took a masala was one of the best I have had. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, yummy ma'am. My 7 yo enjoyed it too! You can't go wrong with this restaurant. Will be sure to come by next time we are in the DC... More

I received a recommendation for this restaurant from a friend while visiting DC. The food I ate was indeed as remarkable as I was told. Everyone praises the fired spinach appetizer (quite justly), and I ate a variety of dishes that were amazing in quality. I often judge restaurants by the way they prepare dishes that I don't ordinarily like.... More

My husband and I have been eating at rasika at least once every 3 months for the last 6 years. Hands down the best food and best service in DC. Two of our favorites include the spinach (malai palak) and mango shrimp. You must eat here.

Had dinner with friends ( my 2nd time here..the others have been here several times). Table of 6 next to front window. Enjoyed the attentive service. Ordered multiple apps and entrees. The fried spinach app is a house specialty and everyone at our table loves it.Other apps ordered were the eggplant, the "patties"(spiced potato/chick peas), scallops, and seabass. All very... More

Recommended by various friends, we actually went to the restaurant to observe, eat and criticise! Surprise!, we really enjoyed every different dish ordered. Food was well served, tasty and sometimes wholly different. A bit pricy, but what the heck! One bad observation; service could have been better with suggestions and a smile. All in all a well worth experience

Is there any rating for less than One Star. Food was garbage, I have been eating and cooking India food for last 40+ years. Yesterday we ordered chicken tikka, kabob, salmon tandori, lamb curry etc, bill was about $400 for 4 people. It's all about hyped up place with location and inside setting with lot of attendants. Service was very... More

My wife is a self proclaimed non lover of Indian food. Myself I look forward to the opportunity to try new flavours and love visiting the Indian restaurants in London. She agreed to try Rasika based on the reviews and much to her surprise she loved it. Try the Palat Chaar for sure. Tell your wait staff what flavours you... More

Without a reservation they seated us outside on a warm evening. The other customers raved about the food and the fried spinach. (It was great!) We told the waiter to have the chef select the best unusual and authentic food for us. He did and we enjoyed every bite of it.
