Supposed to be "the best" I didn't find it that exciting. Not really authentic and menu bleh. Very spicy...but not flavorful...just hot.

A rainy January evening and it was fully booked but turned up and within 10 minutes had a casual dining place available sitting at the bar. Have had plenty of curries back home in the UK before but this was fantastic. Definitely worth trying

It was difficult to get a reservation and when I did, the wait was still long. I ended up sitting at the communal table facing the kitchen, which was interesting. The food was just spicy enough.

Phenomenal! After hearing so many rave reviews from friends who live in DC, we were incredibly excited to try Rasika - it did not disappoint! We arrived a little early for a drink at the bar and were delighted with the bartender's surprise cocktail creations for us based on a few questions about what we like. After the Palak Chaat... Regardless of being Indian, the food at Rasika is exemplary. I have eaten at several restaurants, but this one was for sure one of the most memorable. Be sure to get the crispy spinach (palak chat) - hands down, one of my favorite appetizers I've ever had.

Coming from Birmingham in the UK (despite being a non- Muslim - Fox News is a joke) have been brought up on some great curries over the years. However Rasika is something very different and is best described as Fusion Indian which is a million miles away from an UK curry. However, had a great meal with a friend. Restaurant... More

This restaurant has been on my "go-to" list for a while. My husband and I, and another couple, were not disappointed. For apps we had the spinach dish, cauliflower, and Dal with naan. They were all excellent. We each had a different entree - lamb, lobster, snapper, and the cod. Each tasted great, and agree that we may have liked... More

Not traditional Indian cuisine, but Indian food with a modern, cutting edge flare. Pleasant atmosphere with good service

I've eaten at Rasika half a dozen times--it is close to my office and great for business lunches. The services is a little bit slow, but usually quite attentive and courteous. The atmosphere is quite pleasant. But you come here for the food. One of the best restaurants in DC, and definitely the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to.
