Reservations are required. They are packed. We were warmly greeted and immediately seated. We chose the four course chefs choice because we did not know what to order. It was amazing and we enjoyed everything they brought. If you like Indian food you will love this restaurant. Service is excellent and food was great

People rave about this place, but really?! We have had amazing Indian food all over the world and this one is overpriced and lacking the rich Indian flavors. It is too westernized and lack of authenicity

Sat at the bar for lunch and enjoyed several small dishes, which is a super way to get an overview of the whole menu. The fried spinach was a superstar and we hadn't had anything like it before. We would definitely return.

We have got an expensive hobby of visiting top Indian restaurants in country. We drove all the way to DC just to eat at this place, and it lived up to its expectations. We started with Mango Mocktail and Ginger Lemonade, they were mediocre. Palak Chat and Paneer Shashlik were awesome but Palak Chat is out of this world. We... More

This restaurant rocks! We put ourselves in the hands of our server and she led us into a heavenly dining experience. We shared three dishes. 1) the chicken buryani (sp?), which is chicken and spiced rice baked inside a puff shell top 2) cod 3) fried baby spinach, with a naan (she picked the naan so not sure which one... I went to Raskia based upon several strong recommendations from friends. I tried the 3 small plates: honey ginger scallops; Patra Ni Macchi (sea bass) and Palak Chaat (crispy spinach). The sea bass was succulent with an amazing mint/cilantro sauce with just enough spice. The scallops were very fresh and the red pepper sauce was perfect. And finally, the palak... More

Went here for DC Restaurant week... what a great deal to sample three courses here. While usually pretty pricey, RW menu allowed the full experience for low cost. Everything was delicious and the naan bread is downright addicting. i could have only eaten it the whole meal and been plenty pleased. Can't wait to go back!!

Every dish was delicious. We tried a variety of appetizers and three curry entrees. The crispy spinach was amazing. All the dishes were great. The restaurant has a nice ambience, modern décor with with low lighting. Service was outstanding. A bit pricey but all DC restaurants are expensive. I tried to get reservations 3 weeks in advance before I visited... More

We had dinner in this resturent on our DC trip. The food was awesome, I like "Prawn Malakari" and a lamb preparation. The ambience was quite good and impresive. Its a nice place for a family/romantic dinner.

We stopped for lunch one day and what a treat! Everything was so fresh and delicious. My husband had Chicken Tika Masala and I had a lamb dish. Both were fantastic. We started with their Palak Chaat - wow! We both agreed this was the best Indian food we have had - ever
