Brought my 90- plus year old friend to lunch here. I've had their signature dish, Palak Chaat, before and it amazes me each time. The other dishes we had, the mango shrimp and the sea bass appetizer, were likewise excellent. The mango tart was one of the best desserts I've had all year long. This is a restaurant in Washington... More

I forget the official name...spinach chat? Spinach coated with chikpeas and oil and fried to nirvana? Whatever it was, it was an amazing way to eat spinach. I am on a low salt diet which is not a good match for an Indian restaurant but this is where my colleagues wanted to go. So we did. I explained my need... More

This is place serves fabulous food. One of my favorite places for Indian food. So why a one star? Because greed gets the best of them. Sunday night I take 14 people there for the holidays. The bill was $1800+. We had a great time. But one dish was unacceptable. They served lamb chops that were raw. No one could... More

I think you are paying for the name and the atmosphere in this place. I have had much better lamb korma in other locations in the city for half the price. Maybe I missed one of their specialities but the wait staff did not suggest anything when asked....

We've been going to Rasika for a couple of years. At first it was like a breath of fresh airs as far as Indian restaurants go. A change from the traditional Mughlai over-curried fare. It still has that edge but more recently I can't help the feeling that their formula is getting tired. The food lacks that elusive element my... More

I had the privilege of being invited to dinner at Rasika. Overall the food was very good but the best was the crispy spinach appetizer. It was delicious and very unique. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

refined Indian.... Very tasty and a great variety of dishes to sample. Palak chaat is as good as the reviews say.

This is one of only a few places in DC that it is hard to get a reservation. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. Tip: the Rasika in Dupont Circle is much easier to get reservations at and just as wonderful!

The Most Interesting Man in The World would certainly love this place. The food was absolutely to die for, from the thoughtful curries to several different meats to a grilled, crispy vegetable dish that was nothing short of awesome.
