excellent breakfast

excellent breakfast, 24 hour service in the weekend. Did not find a breakfast that good anywhere else, besides, in this area there are not many choices for an american breakfast.

I have been coming to Annie's for years when on business in DC. The food never disappoints. On my last visit, on my first night in the city, I had the "Bull in the Pan" entree along with a side order of a crab cake. Annie's crab cakes are the best I have eaten. Of course, being from Texas we... More

Excellent service. Both the waitress and the host at the door were very kind and friendly. We went on a Friday evening and didn't have to wait for a table. We ordered a filet mignon which was to die for! I ordered it medium-rare and they nailed it! The sides were also very good! I would definitely come back!

For starters, their online menu's prices were outdated by about 20% which can easily ruin a tourist-on-a-budget's meal plans. We opted for burgers, due to the price surprise, and they were poor. Even though we had medium and medium rare, the patties were dry. Mine had a burnt taste which spoiled it completely. The service was good though. We will... More

We have been going to Annie's, first in Georgetown, then, when that closed, at the 17th St. location, since 1969. We went frequently, until they tried to upscale and yuppify the menu. That didn't work for us and for a lot of their regulars, and the old menu and prices are back. This is a wonderful restaurant, that makes you... More

First time visit...service was the best. Quick, polite, attentive. The 'atrium' seating was pleasant and provided a comfortable setting for brunch. The sirloin tips and eggs and home fries was tasty but the medium-rare came out a more medium. The over-easy eggs were the best! The omelets were juts ok...a little fluffy and dry...presentation could have been more pleasant...they were... More

I ate here and the food was poor. Not terrible, just mediocre. Service was also poor. I was shocked to find on my bank statement that they have charged me twice for the same meal. They haven't responded to my emails and I now have to contact my bank and alert them to the error. Don't bother eating here. They... More

When my husband first brought me to the US in 2007 - we had lunch at Annie's Place. It was probably one of my favorite meals of our trip. We went back (now with kids in tow) and it's still the same vibe, the same excellent service, the same great food (well probably not exactly the same). I loved that... More

I came by myself, based on others reviews, I asked for a table by the window. I saw two little tables available. For unknown reason, they took two other parties and set them on these two tables. They made me feel so unwelcome. I mist say that by the time they made me wait, I was able to see that... More
