Brunch Fun

First time visit...service was the best. Quick, polite, attentive. The 'atrium' seating was pleasant and provided a comfortable setting for brunch. The sirloin tips and eggs and home fries was tasty but the medium-rare came out a more medium. The over-easy eggs were the best! The omelets were... read more

I ate here and the food was poor. Not terrible, just mediocre. Service was also poor. I was shocked to find on my bank statement that they have charged me twice for the same meal. They haven't responded to my emails and I now have to contact my bank and alert them to the error. Don't bother eating here. They... More

When my husband first brought me to the US in 2007 - we had lunch at Annie's Place. It was probably one of my favorite meals of our trip. We went back (now with kids in tow) and it's still the same vibe, the same excellent service, the same great food (well probably not exactly the same). I loved that... More

I came by myself, based on others reviews, I asked for a table by the window. I saw two little tables available. For unknown reason, they took two other parties and set them on these two tables. They made me feel so unwelcome. I mist say that by the time they made me wait, I was able to see that... More

Ate here for dinner. Food was very good. Fresh and delicious. Reasonably priced. Good atmosphere. Service was good. Always a plus when the server keeps your drinks filled. Would definitely go here again.

Looked great from the outside, very nice menu. Server was polite, but not not really friendly. Food was poor. Cold salad served on a hot plate. Butter was melted I. Their little plastic packages. Rolls were obviously not made I house and were served cool. Worst of all the, pepper crusted filet was not exactly crusted. It was buried, more... More

Visited in June 2015 with my wife and two boys. Arrived about 8 p.m. Monday night, seating was prompt and courteous. Rolls/bread served are off-the-shelf dinner rolls. Service was mediocre at best. After taking our order, waiter came back asking what our son ordered as he couldn't read his writing. My wife's salad had a small flying insect in it... More

We live about 10 miles from Annie's and have gone there for 25-30 years. Five or six years ago, Annie's remodeled the restaurant and brought out a new menu which was more upscale and more expensive than the older one. The menu has everything from appetizers to main courses (hamburgers, steaks, chicken) to desserts. On holidays and week-ends, Annie's is... More

We had a late night family dinner here after exploring DC. We could tell this was a local favorite- everyone was enjoying themselves and happy. Our food was good, not spectacular, but good. They seated us quickly and our server was nice.

What an unknown gem! Best steak in town as well as the best service. Steak is cooked to your specification and served with great sides.
