I ate here on a business meal and unfortunately I picked the location. The food was good, but the service was appalling. Everything started out very well, but as the night went on our server disappeared; drinks were not refilled and were asked for numerous times, finally the busboy started to serve us. Our waiter was in the area, but... More

Four of us had an amazing dinner last night at Central. Same day reservations easily done online. We were early, it was crowded; but were immediately seated at bar, and had reasonably priced wines and beer. We were welcomed warmly and the good service continued through till we left, with our very patient server taking several pics for us. Valet... More

I went to this restaurant for Restaurant Week. It is usually pretty pricey (entreés mostly above $20) so the three course deal for $35.14 was an excellent value. First of all the service was fantastic. Our server was patient with the questions about the menu and ingredients and was incredibly helpful with suggestions. At the waiter's suggestion, I had the... The food was good to excellent. The service was friendly. We were a large party. The wine bill came and the wine was almost twice the listed price. The waitress said it was an error in the computer number given for that wine. For our group the restaurant's menu had something for everyone's taste.

The best item on the menu is the fries. They are easily the best I have ever eaten. They were golden brown and oh so crisp. No ketchup required. The rest of the menu was good but not too memorable. One of the reasons we chose this restaurant was because my son loves fried chicken and theirs was well rated.... More

My second time dining at Central was better than the first. The services was excellent unlike the first time. It has a contemporary, energetic atmosphere. I missed the escargot pizza that was on the menu at the time of my first visit. The fried chicken was the most flavorful, tender and juicy that I have ever had. My wife agreed.

The food and service here was excellent. The restaurant has a bar area which didn't overshadow the restaurant area in terms of noise and hence the atmosphere felt quite relaxed. We had some cheese puffs along with some drinks initially and they were very tasty. For a starter I had the Asian style tuna carpaccio which was delicious. The Asian... More

We travel to D.C. a couple of times a year & Central has been our "go to" restaurant. This visit was very unpleasant. We had a waitress who started off friendly & then in dealing with my daughter & my food allergies gave us wrong information several times and after I spoke with the manager, the waitress ignored our table.... I was expecting more. Very loud bar scene, so you have to shout to have a conversation. I got the special, soft shell crabs. They were deep fried so the claws were crisps, so you lost the tender meat. And they cost a fortune! The Brussels sprouts were soft. Not worth it. Coffee good. Dessert so so.
