Good..

My husband had a relaxing dinner at Central. Our meal was good, not great! The music was old, outdated and the lights were too bright. We relaxed with a good meal and an attentive waiter. The menu was limited but various. I'd probably go back.

So this restaurant was a last minute booking on a snowy night. Welcome from front of house average, table service good, food really well prepared and served with a contemporary twist. I felt that the decor spoilt the experience for me. The seating and decor was basic and rather reminded me of my old school canteen and in my opinion... More

Perhaps not the best time to try a very good DC restaurant. Wait for a time when they are less hurried. Sad that the chicken I love there tasted like it had been cooked for hours and simply reheated. Normally wonderfully crispy tonight it was "soggy" and not terribly warm. The trout was apparently delicious. Cheesecake very tasty. Will return... More

Not good at all. Not even worth the 35 dollar.go to a Chinese carryout instead and have a food feast. It's crazy that they are even participating in the restaurant week when they know that they have to do a little bit nice menu for that. No item is there that you can order and when u come out you... How is this not the top-rated restaurant in the city? The food is flawless, the service is excellent but unpretentious and the drinks & desserts are not to be missed. One of our favorites! (Sit outside whenever weather allows and indoors, watching the kitchen, during the rest of the year.)

We met friends that we hadn't seen in a long time so we were hoping for a special evening. The bar was fun and relaxed and our table was comfortable - so good atmosphere. All of our salads sounded good but were just average. The entrees were the same - just lacked the "wow". Washington has so many great choices,... More

had a wonderful meal at this excellent restaurant. The service was exceptional. The waiter was attentive but unobtrusive. our meals were brought to our table quickly. I had the fried chicken and it was delicious. The coating was crispy and the chicken was moist and just about perfect. we had a side order of brussels sprouts that were good. The... More

We ate here on vacation between Christmas and New Years on the recommendation of friends who live in DC and could not have been more pleased. The decor is a modern take on a classic bistro. Open plan with hip colors, huge open kitchen to which all activity can be viewed from most of the seats. Awesome glassed in wine... More

You can never go wrong going here for drinks and dinner. Near three theaters for a great meal before or after the show. Bar area is warm and inviting. We ate at the bar and received great service! The food was outstanding with almost no wait. Bathroom was very nice and clean. The wine list as well as the liquor... More

I have brought over 30 friends here since it opened and it NEVER disappoints. I introduced two more friends to this DC jewel and they will be back on their own. I dined on the special filet mignon and started with the cheese puffs. Everything was perfectly seasoned and timed, and truly delicious. I bought a bottle of wine to... More
