The food was good to excellent. The service was friendly. We were a large party. The wine bill came and the wine was almost twice the listed price. The waitress said it was an error in the computer number given for that wine. For our group the restaurant's menu had something for everyone's taste.

The best item on the menu is the fries. They are easily the best I have ever eaten. They were golden brown and oh so crisp. No ketchup required. The rest of the menu was good but not too memorable. One of the reasons we chose this restaurant was because my son loves fried chicken and theirs was well rated.... More

My second time dining at Central was better than the first. The services was excellent unlike the first time. It has a contemporary, energetic atmosphere. I missed the escargot pizza that was on the menu at the time of my first visit. The fried chicken was the most flavorful, tender and juicy that I have ever had. My wife agreed.

The food and service here was excellent. The restaurant has a bar area which didn't overshadow the restaurant area in terms of noise and hence the atmosphere felt quite relaxed. We had some cheese puffs along with some drinks initially and they were very tasty. For a starter I had the Asian style tuna carpaccio which was delicious. The Asian... More

We travel to D.C. a couple of times a year & Central has been our "go to" restaurant. This visit was very unpleasant. We had a waitress who started off friendly & then in dealing with my daughter & my food allergies gave us wrong information several times and after I spoke with the manager, the waitress ignored our table.... Wonderful service and food, the Lobster Burger was amazing!!! The Fried Chicken is a must. Great beer and wine selection with outdoor seating.

I was expecting more. Very loud bar scene, so you have to shout to have a conversation. I got the special, soft shell crabs. They were deep fried so the claws were crisps, so you lost the tender meat. And they cost a fortune! The Brussels sprouts were soft. Not worth it. Coffee good. Dessert so so.

It is incongruous that a restaurant that has the best service and best presentation of food that I have ever experienced also has the ambience of a McDonalds and the prices of a Donald Trump enterprise. Not really, Donald is opening across the street in the old Post Office Building

I had lunch with a group of friends at Central Michel Richard last week and was impressed with the food there. I had cheese puffs and Fried Chicken and they were excellent. The location of this place is about three blocks from Metro station, which is very convenience. The only tiny issue I have is the noise. You may have... More

Had a business dinner with a big group, and designed a set menu for convenience. For starters, we had a choice of chopped salad, tuna sashimi and beetroot salad. I had the chopped salad and it was good. The others seemed to lap up their starters too For mains, there are hanger steak, lamb shank, salmon and Michel's fried chicken. Since... More
