Open City is close to the conference hotel we are staying at and we've been and then back again because the food is so good. We found ourselves at the bar on a busy Sunday morning for breakfast. Service was prompt and server friendly. Food was delicious and refills plentiful. We were back again for lunch and again service was... More

We recently stayed at the Omni, opposite the diner, and visited Open City for breakfast and dinner during our stay. The food was excellent and really good value, and on both visits the service was fantastic. Good range of beers on tap and wines. Great option for a cheap meal

Open air restaurant with an interesting menu and good drinks. The seating is a bit crowded so just be prepared for a noisy dining experience if it's busy. They did not have a few things we wanted (from the menu), which you would not expect early on a Saturday evening. I gave 4 stars because the food was incredibly delicious.... More

While walking around during a snow storm, enjoyed finding this place. Went back 4 more times. Handicapped access to bathroom downstairs via a lift...cozy and great meals.

I've never had better sweet potato fries. Very crispy. No pickles for my cheeseburger though. Great waitress!

Loved the open air feel of the indoor patio-esque area! The menu had quite a few interesting choices and I really enjoyed the omelette I settled on. They also serve animal crackers with their coffee drinks which was a really adorable touch.

Went for lunch recently with a friend and while it was OK I guess my expectations were higher. It was a strange mixture of one thing being good while the other person's wasn't that good. The Bellini cocktail was excellent yet the Bloody Mary w/house mix was rather salty. My chopped salad was pretty good, but beware the beet salad... More

We were staying at the Omni Shoreham hotel but didn't want the formal breakfast thing. Open City had an awesome array of food on the menu and I had a different breakfast every day prepared to a great standard

We chose this place for brunch on a busy saturday and by-passed the long wait list as there were only 2 of us (potentially longer wait times for larger parties). The ambiance is simple and care-free- the large garage-style doors were open making the patio seem to extend into the actual restaurant. At least for breakfast, they offer all the... More

Had breakfast here while visiting Washington D.C. The food was delicious an fresh. The noise level was extremely loud so don't plan on having a conversation while eating.
