Excellent service, tasty relatively small dishes

We came in for an early dinner with two teenagers. The service was excellent from meeting the hostess to our server. We had the crab cakes and they were excellent. We were recommended this place by our hotel concierge as a good mid price family friendly restaurant. What a great choice! The food was fantastic and really friendly staff who were very attentive. Can't recommend enough.

Went here for first time while in The area. Brunch was delightful. Had the country fried pork loin with eggs and sausage gravy. I also enjoyed my butterscotch scones with fresh whipped cream. Friend had the Heath cheesecake which was delightful. Wish I had one of these where I lived. Atmosphere and decor of restaurant was beautifully. Waiter was very... More

So I visited this place off of a recommendation, after arriving late night in DC. The restaurant is beautiful and very attractive but the food (I got burger) was bland and the waiter was not attentive at all. Also, although it was 5 staff at the hostess stand, they acted like it took a strategy to seat us. Smh lol... More

We're a family of four and all ate something different. Each dish was outstanding, the shrimp garganelle and swordfish deserve a special mention! Although the waiter was busy, his knowledge of the menu and service was outstanding. The surroundings were comfortable yet pretty opulent for the price we paid. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Went here while on vacation with my three nieces. The atmosphere was very nice. The waiter seemed annoyed and wasn't very welcoming. The food was nothing to brag about. I wouldn't recommend it or go back.

Prices a bit high, but not too bad for DC. Fun mixture of upscale and ornate, yet family atmosphere. Some interesting things on menu, along with sandwiches. Kids' menu. Our waiter was a hoot.

Standard pub food, so so taste. Super busy but service was good. The only thing that saved my visit was the drink I had that had jalapeno infused tequila. Otherwise would likely not visit this place if and when in DC again.

Just enjoyed an outstanding meal. The shrimp Gargante was excellent, but the home run was the scallops. Served with an Arugula, pancetta and spatzel salad that was out of this world. We WILL be back!
