Great place for a relaxed dinner! We ate in the bar area and while it was a little loud, we were able to kick back and relax!

We were told that they had great crab cakes and they weren't lying! It was a very busy Friday night and we were told our wait would be 20 minutes. The hostess was pretty close as we waited 25 minutes. We did find a place at the bar with a very personable bar tender that made out wait more enjoyable.... More

We went as a group. And while most of us raved about our food it took a long time to get drinks, refills, anything extra!! We had to ask for bread after waiter said he was on his way with it! Overall, it was fun and great food. Maybe not the best for large groups??

The service here isn't that great. We went on a very busy night, so I guess the server was so busy she couldn't give us her full attention, which is understandable. The food was just okay, I've had much better at other Clyde's locations.

On our family mini-vacation we returned to Clyde's (we have eaten in some of the other locations but never this one) and, once again, were not disappointed. We started with the oysters which were delicious and then ordered a few fish dishes and a few meat entries as well (the kids enjoyed the burgers and calamari and the swordfish was... More

We have eaten at Clyde's before, and I did a review 13 months ago. The menu is still good, reasonably priced (entrees start at $16.99 for a chicken dinner), and the service is exceptional. Just a note that bread is upon request only, but it is well worth the request as it comes hot and crusty with a slab of... More

My wife and I have visited Clyde's several times while in DC. Clyde's has never been too busy, and has a bar area on the first floor, and a more formal sitting area upstairs. It has wood paneled walls, with some great sports artwork that make you feel like you are drinking in a trendy speakeasy. Clyde's has a great... More

After a long day of site seeing my friends and I checked out 7th street in search of a decent meal. We were not disappointed. Between us we devoured our meals of Crab Cakes, Swordfish steak, Steak Frites and Seafood Linguine. We were all very happy with our meals and the service was pretty great also. There is a lively... I am sure I have done a review on this restaurant before but it is my favorite place to eat in DC. I love the atmosphere and the crab cakes. They have every cocktail that you would want. The location is close to site seeing and shopping.

Clyde's was the location for a social business dinner on my most recent trip to DC. The atmosphere is great and the food is even better. My table had a sampling of almost all of the appetizers and were not disappointed in anything! The mussels and also fried green tomatoes were my favorites by far though! I had the pork... More
