Safe choice if you like meat

As always, the selection and quality of meat was very good at Fogo de Chao, although the buffet with salad, faroffa etc was not as good as in its Brazilian restaurants. The service was just perfect.

My friend and I try to visit Fogo de Chao each time we go to D.C., which is about once a year. Since this was my third visit, I am probably getting a little picky about some things, in comparison with my past visits. The salad bar was not nearly as ostentatious as the first and second visits, but it... More

My wife and I ate here on our 1 year anniversary dinner. It was our first time eating at a Brazilian style steakhouse and we absolutely loved it. It was one of the best meals that we have ever had. The food was well cooked along with a nice atmosphere, you couldn't ask for anything better. It is on the... More

My husband and I were on vacation and in DC. My niece and cousin live in and around there, so we wanted to meet for dinner. A co-worker suggested Fogo as the best steak she had ever eaten. Little did I know that was an understatement! From the time we entered the restaurant, until the time we left, we were... More

This restaurant had the best salad bar of any Brazilian Steakhouse I've been to. As well the garnishes were very good. Very much enjoyed the small cheese bread bits. The meats were wonderful. Especially enjoyed the pork with parmesan and the Filet Mignon!! The service from our waiter assistant waiter and plate clearing staff were GREAT. Happy, smiling and funny!!... More

Fun place to try! We've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before and it was great experience! Staff were extremely enthusiastic and attentive! There was tons of meat to choose from and the gaucho chefs were circulating constantly. They were always willing to bring you more of whatever you wanted. The salad bar was quite lovely...I could have eaten from... More

I went with my family during a trip to DC - this place is absolutely wonderful. The servers are willing to bring out a meat of your choice if it's not coming around. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I loved everything at this restaurant from the food to the ambiance.

The Filet is a meat that did not get brought to the table very often Even when it did, I question that it really is that cut. The service was not very good and I felt the staff was a little over worked. For the price I paid, I wish I had gone to another place.

We've always wanted to try a Brazilian-style steakhouse but don't have one locally so during our week's stay in DC we made it a priority. The service was attentive if not frantic, there's certainly no shortage of staff coming to your table if you need anything. This is not a place to relax and enjoy the company at your table,... More

We have experienced Brazilian type restaurant in our state and knew what to expect. Well, we expected a bit more this time to go with the advertised price tag! Meat quality was ok, but all cuts were very salty. Service was standard. Everything was just average, not too bad, but not too impressive either.
