Food was really good, setting is really nice, lots of private glass booths for privacy- but we always were looking around for service. Drinks took too long, order took too long and food.......took too long. For this reason the average rating is given but maybe an off night. The fries were outstanding!

A friend was recently a waiter there and told me that they serve bone marrow. I've had bone marrow at home. I just baked it and put sea salt on it and it tastes like a really nice steak to me. We ordered the marrow here and it was served in a bone split length wise. The marrow was heavily... More

DC has become a restaurant mecca with great new openings virtually every week. It wasn't always so, but Blue Duck Tavern has been one of the finest upper-end spots for ten plus years. The service is attentive, the space inviting and comfortable. The menu changes seasonally and the food is always inventive and delicious. The large lounge area is great... More

Romantic restaurant. Great for Dinner, but better for Brunch. They make an amazing Belgian Waffle with fresh cream. Also give their Crab, Avocado and egg white scramble a chance. Could not recommend this place more.

Overpriced. Food was bland. Lobster roll wasn't very good. They did have a good beer selection though. Wine and champagne list was also impressive. Overall, would not recommend this place.

There are many great restaurants in DC but with this one you can never go wrong. Very nice setting, open kitchen style, gourmet dinning. Always re-visit, always good. Worth every penny.

We spent 3 nights in Washington DC and had reserved a table at the Blue Duck for our anniversary. We had excellent service, and a truly memorable meal. It is an innovative menu, lots of choice, and every course was beautiful. It has a lovely friendly atmosphere and I would certainly recommend it without hesitation.
