Tasty. Go early and beat the rush.

After an enjoyable walk around the Sculpture Park I decided to go for an early lunch at about 1130am. The service was quite good and the young man clearing the tables was very diligent. The place began to fill up around 12 mid day and I doubt if the service would be as good when the place was so... read more

Brought my wife and daughter here yesterday for lunch between our museum visits. We grew up in the area and were back visiting. TA reviews were decent, but everything else was downhill. Food is served school cafeteria style and they charge "rediculus prices" even for DC. $45 for a bowl of soup, a 6"pizza, one sandwich, two sodas, and water.... More

This cafe offers a range of food designed for those wanting to pause from art adventures for lunch, a morning or afternoon break. It's a predictable menu, but the food is fresh, there's a diverse choice of beverages, and the staff look after you well. I had lunch here and it was what I would have expected.

This was a lovely stop in the in the middle of the National Mall. Keep in context you are in one of the most expensive cities and tourist areas. It was a cold day and the peppermint patty hot cocoa and toasted panini hit the spot.

Luckily it was a sunny day when we stopped here for lunch, so we could sit outside on the patio and enjoy the weather. Food here was very expensive. Service was a bit disorganized for a cafeteria-style restaurant with a supposed numbering system for orders. Next time we will probably not eat here. Outdoor ice rink was interesting to watch.

I was impressed with their variety of food for the size of the place. Was thrilled to find healthy food; great salads! Their pastries are yummy. Was glad to have stopped here for a bite.

On a recent weekend trip to DC, and after hours of walking around the city, I literally stumbled upon and into The Sculpture Garden Pavilion Cafe. It is a small restaurant just off the ice skating rink offering soup, salads, sandwiches, desserts and pizza. My friend ordered the pizza and the counter person was very accommodating in adding pepperoni since... More

Small Cafe located in the Sculpture Garden, available when the Garden is open. Hours vary with the season, longer some winter nights when the skating rink is open. Menu items vary seasonally as well with hot chocolate available in the winter and cooler drinks in the summer. Beer, wine and drinks are available as well as upscale sandwiches and deserts,... More

I dropped into the Pavilion Café in the Sculpture Garden whilst exploring The Mall for what I thought would be a nice cup of coffee and a cake... I had a Latte and a Banana Nut Muffin and both were very disappointing. My cup of coffee was barely warm let alone hot and my muffin was one of the worst... More

It's very convenient to continue visits to the national mall. The prices are not bad and the food is good. I had the mushrooms and gruyere tart. My girlfriend had the spinach tart both were good, pretty similar to a french "quiche". Service is quick, that helps to continue with the visits.
