Fun Visit

We decided to check out the tune-in because of the TV exposure with Guy Fieri. The prices were reasonable and the food was good. We were traveling with kids and my daughter loved that she could order French toast for supper. I had the Catfish Po Boy and I liked it, though I didn't love the roll... read more

This is a good place to see the locals. This place is litterally a dive, but at least a clean one. The homemade mozzarella stick are very good, as was my wife's crab bisk. My burger was a little undercooked. Great place to see a football game.

We went for breakfast on the suggestion of an UBER driver. We wanted a local place and without hesitation he said "that's Tune Inn"! The next morning we were not disappointed. I had the Chipped beef (SOS) and I'm not sure anyone could finish the portion they give, this could easily be shared. My wife had the croissant breakfast sandwich... More

This place lived up to many of the reviews I've seen here. The food was excellent and the service was terrible. However, after thinking it over, I wonder of the service is part of the experience. Not a place for kids but great alone, as a couple, or out with friends. We saw several groups of people. We had the... More

I worked on Capitol Hill in the 80's and there was no other watering hole like the Tune Inn. You won't get great food, or great service, but you will most definitely run into young, legislative aides and the like, as well as quite possible a few future US Congressman! I highly recommend stopping in!

1. Hate the taxidermy animal heads all over the walls. 2. Service is mediocre, at best. 3. Couldn't eat all my french toast, due to it being burnt. (Didn't have much flavor either.)

I wish I could give negative stars to this place. I can't comment on the food because I never got a chance to order. Waited over 20 minutes at a table without any acknowledgement from the staff. I should have known it was a bad sign when we walked in and no one said anything. Horrible experience and very poor... More

Have been coming here for years off and on. Best qualities, besides an extensive menu is the variety of different patrons who frequent the place. Tourists, neighborhood types, blue collar, white collar, government workers, and no collar. Everyone passes through these doors. It opens early and closes late. I would characterize the menu as good ole American comfort food. Best... More

Funky, old establishment on Capitol Hill. Service was excellent, with a really pleasant server, who I would guess has been doing this awhile.. Nice selection of draft beers. Go for the comfort food, nothing healthy on the menu. Had the meat loaf sandwich with sweet potato fries. Very tasty
