We had appetizers (nachos and buffalo wings) and 4 beers for only $21! Because of the 50% off happy hour promo. Great value for money! Good service too!

Just downtown on M street. It's on the bar strip as we use to call it in 1976. The Third Edition is still the same. As old bars come and go the Third Edition stay's. It is a refection of Washington D.C.The bar will get what ever drink you can name and a few you can just make up! Great... More

The Irish Nachos are a must have if you manage to make it to the 3rd. The service was not so great, but I can't really blame the poor guy, it was his first day and he was the only waiter. I actually felt bad for him.

Popped in for a brief respite and a pint at lunch; wasn't allowed a table as I wasn't eating but despite the fact the place was practically empty. Being sat at the bar did mean I got very attentive service from the barman. Didn't eat, so can't comment on the food (though it wasn't particularly cheap)

A large group of us went for drinks and dancing for a friend's birthday and it was overcrowded, the bartenders were serving anyone no matter how drunk they appeared to be, and we decided to leave. When the bartender ignored two members of our party trying to pay their tabs, he cursed them out using some of the most profane... More

Husband and I stopped here last Friday for a mid-afternoon lunch and were both very happy with the food and the service. We had the 1/2 price Friday fish special and were impressed with the quality of the food, the friendly service and the huge portions!! The flounder was expertly prepared and there was a lot of it on the... More

This reviews their restaurant (downstairs section) not any type of night life they may offer. We dined at 7:00 p.m. on a Saturday night and there was no wait for a booth table (a nice change from the other spots on Wisconsin Avenue and M Street at the same time of week). Once seated, we were greeted cheerfully and advised... More
