Started off with a pitcher of the blackberry mango sangria - excellent choice! We visited on a Sunday night and the place had a great atmosphere and excellent food. I loved the sauce on the asparagus and everything was very tasty. Didn't find a dish we didn't like. A little on the pricey side, but to be expected with tapas.

I loved this place! $4 sangrias during happy hour, they have a large selection of flavors to choose from. Also must try the Brussel sprouts and the seafood paella. The paella takes 30 minutes to cook, but well worth waiting for!

I was there with my friend and it was almost 10PM, we just had our full day and night tour around DC, our waiter was wonderful and very friendly, we ordered too much, we could not even touch the seafood paella so we had it packed. We had some mussels and prawns dishes,

I used to live in Spain and when I saw the sign for Paella - convinced my friends to try it. I LOVED it. Ordered the classic tapas tasting menu ($65) - got an additional tapa of "Pan a la catalana" (well worth it). The food was perfect - down to the paella and in great tapa sizes. the classic... More

Not a fan of the small plates. The service was ok, but it's awkward that everything comes out at different times, and what if there's not enough for everyone to have a bite? And what if one bite isn't enough? Neh.

Delighted to have lunch there on Friday Aug.22 with my son. Courteous, professional staff. Service was really efficient and well timed - not too fast, not too slow. We opted out of the sangria and food combo and ordered single tapas to share. They were fabulous and it's such a rare thing in America nowadays to eat food you recognize,... More

I was in town on business and we didnt have long for lunch so this place was not crowded so we popped in. I ordered off of the lunch special menu and had two different tapas and a drink for $14. I ate every bit of it. I don't usually finish everything but this was so good. Unfortunately I don't... More

We finished our tour later than expected. We got to the restaurant with our 2 kids at 9h00 pm while they were closing the kitchen. The service was awesome, so was the tapas and the sangria. They were also great with the kids. Our best Washington dining experience. ..

La Tasca is probably my favorite chain that's a proper restaurant. Each one that I've been to has been consistently good in terms of food, service and selection. This one in particular, I think I have only been to once. It was later in the evening and the kitchen would be closing shortly. Our waiter was quick without rushing and... More
