Really really good!!!

Stopped in the area looking for a Chinese restaurant but instead went into La Tasca. We did the brunch special which was 3 tapas and unlimited sangria and mimosas for 30.00 a person. And wow what a selection of sangria. Well worth the money. The food was really good. We had 6 tapas between us... read more

Large selection of traditional Spanish tapas, paellas and seafood dishes. It is large, energetic and crowded- both at lunch and dinner time. Several flavors of Sangria to sample. Service is good, sometimes a little slow. Some favorites: Jamon Iberico, Croquettas, Manchego cheese balls, Shrimp with aioli. Also the avocado and shrimp salad is refreshing, flavorful.

Came across this restaurant and was able to try tapas. The meal was all-inclusive (drink, three individual tapas, and dessert for a single price) and was excellent. Service was great, and one tapas was overdone, but it was fixed immediately and with seemingly real regret for the error. Great place and good price!

Four of us went to dinner at La Tasca and took advantage of the special Food Week menu. The prix fixe deal was $35 for a wine, 3 tapas, and dessert. The choices were fabulous. My husband went heavy on the meat tapas, ordering steak, salmon, and shrimp - followed by rice pudding. (The shrimp and dessert were especially tasty!)... More

La Tasca's paella was just ok. I've been to three of the locations in DC - happy hour at Old Town, sangria/paella making class in Arlington, and dinner in Chinatown. I was more impressed with the first two experiences. Happy hour was great - food was pretty good and cheap. We didn't have trouble finding a place to sit and... More

A bunch of us were walking around China town area and doing a little shopping when we realized we were starving but thankfully were standing right in front of the restaurant and even better that they could accommodate the 4 of us. Service was impeccable and the food I cannot stop thinking about. My favourite was their Catalana bread, croquettes,... More

The menu offered a great range of choices and all of it looked incredible. The food we ordered was good quality and very flavorful. Drinks menu was also good with various sangria options. The place was quite loud as it was full on a Friday nite - so not for you if looking for a quiet spot (or go at... More

What a delight it was to eat at this Spanish restaurant. The waiter explained to us that we could keep ordering the small plates until we were full. Everything was delicious. I had tasty steak, shrimp, and scallops. My friend loved the paella mixta. The bread was fabulous. Eat here if you can.

We came here using the TripAdvisor app to see my cousin who was in town. Ended up ordering some tapas and wanted to be able to catch up with eachother. The waiter we had was nice to start, but as soon as we declined ordering drinks he became visibly annoyed with us. On top of that, when we didn't want... More
