Great choice in Chinatown

I've dined at La Tasca in the UK. Each time I found the food and the experience excellent. How fortuitous that La Tasca established restaurants in the DC area. And one just two blocks from my hotel. I remember this place since 2010 when me and my wife visited D.C. together and liked the restaurant. Its part of a chain; located close to National Mall on 7th street. I tried their specials -- 3 tapas+unlimited sangria for $30 (not for me since I'm not much into sangria) and unlimited tapas no alcohol -- that's the best. I... More

La Tasca is located in the center of DC Chinatown. I highly recommend the place to stop for lunch. During my visit, there was a lunch special, two tapas for 14 and the price of wine by glass was great value. The place has plenty of seats at the bar, bar area, and dining areas. I have been to the... More

Recently visited La Tasca on the recommendation of a fellow diner, one of her favorite DC restaurants. The sangrias will not disappoint. We tried three different flavors. As another reviewer stated, very potent but excellent blend of flavor. The best in our opinion was the sangria rosada. The tapas was good. I did like the broceta de marisco the best... More

I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The food is great (do the party menu if in a large group), the sangrias are pretty potent and the atmosphere is very chilled. Been here for birthdays, law school meetings, farewell parties and each time - it's been amazing. The paella is to die for!

Pre wizards game (got nailed by Brooklyn nets) dinner . Got there early so quick seat and service. Server this time same as last but better service and attentive. And this time they returned my credit card so I didn't have to cancel it. Try the brocheta de marisco (shrimp and bacon-wrapped scallops skewer); buey a la plancha grilled angus... More

We had a Fun time for my birthday with my family. Everyone was willing to try new dishes. Everything was delicious. We ordered the tapas for a party and Pallas and salads. Great chiros and birthday cake for dessert.

I've been to La Tosca a few times over the years, and I just do not like this place. Mediocre Italian food that they think they can overcharge for because they're in Chinatown. The most recent time, I met my friends out for a drink. It's basically only tourists in this restaurant. La Tosca goes for the whole Italian vibe,... More

The food was delicious but in order to be satisfied, you need to order at least 3 selections. Food is pricey for the amount served. Service was good. Personnel were friendly and very helpful in describing the food.
