We stumbled upon Tasca while exploring Alexandria. Here on a Sunday, we were able to get the brunch - 3 tapa plates each for $20/pp and $2 bloody mary. Awesome, authentic, delicious and affordable. So much food too. We're big eaters, but have to take our time to get through this! I understand that there's also a dinner tapa special.... More

Whatever was supposed to be crispy was soggy. Fries were soggy and calamari were undercooked and so chewy my daughter choked on them. We had ordered a tasting menu per recommendation by the restaurant and ended up leaving before we were got everything. Rushed and unattentive service as well.

My wife and I visited during our recent DC trip and simply put it was perfect! Its a lively place and very easy to enjoy. We tried one of the pre selected tapas menus and everything was great, full of flavor, and nicely presented. While there we had Victor as our waiter and his recommendations were spot on. He took... I love tapas and at La Tosca they have a happy hour special. Tapas for $4.00. We had 4 children and 3 adults. When we arrived they did not have space for us in the main bar but we were told if we went to the lower level bar we could order at the bar and they would bring the... More

This is my 3rd time visiting this restaurant and it gets better every time. My friends and I will make the 90 minute trip from Richmond to DC just for the food and sangria. The brunch is such an amazing deal. The bacon wrapped dates might be the best thing I have ever eaten. I also love the empenadas. We... More

Loved this restaurant. Have you ever wanted to try everything on the menu?? Well here you can come close. Since the portions are small it's almost mandatory to try a lot! We had a great waitress that suggested we each order two things and split everything and it was all great. Love the casual, hip atmosphere. If your looking for... More

We stopped by this evening during happy hour and to watch the World Cup. They had a special for $40.00 to include a pitcher of sangria and 4 tapas. Good service and great location close to the Verizon Center.

If you like "vibrant" happy hours with decent food, La Tasca will likely make you happy. Probably not the best spot for a quiet dinner, but the menu offers a wide selection of food and drink, making it easy to please a variety of culinary/dietary preferences. Several worthwhile GF offerings, and helpful staff. Every time I've peaked in at happy... More

We were here for drinks and dinner. Smaller portions and average food. It was pretty crowded since it was a Saturday night. The appetizers were okay and the sangria we ordered wasn't very impressive. Location wise its nice and the ambiance was good too. Its a good place to hangout with a few drinks but not really a dinner place... More

I was traveling for work and stumbled upon this place. It had the best bruschetta I've ever eaten. I'd return just for that. But, the other dishes were great too, including the chicken and beef skewers. Wish I had room for dessert.
