Small but mighty

After walking around Chinatown in DC, we discovered this Spanish gem. Tapas are appetizer plates so unless you order several you will not fill your tummy but your palette will be very happy. The sangria selection was excellent.

My husband and I happened upon this place in DC. While we were a little nervous with all of the hockey playoff fans around us, it quieted down once the game started and all of the red-shirted patrons left. We tried some of the mixed cocktails which we enjoyed, and then we had the La Tasca tapas dinner. Outstanding! We... More

Wandering around in China town, we found this little gem. The cranberry margaritas were fantastic and every tapa we had was very delicious! Bacon wrapped dates with cheese, chicken empanadas, pork 4 ways, shrimp, tuna, cheese plate ... try them all!

A wide variety of tasty tapas. We each chose 3-4 and had Sangria (red and white) that went well with the food. We sat at a window seat and enjoyed the passing parade.

We went to La Tasca before attending a Shakespeare production. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful; prompt and solicitous but not overbearing. We will return.

Very good and authentic spanish food. We had paella mixta for two people, which was delicious. We also had some very good tapas to start our meal. Price was ok. Recommended!
