Everything in the menu looked appealing and everything we ordered was tasty. Appetizer portions are generous, so three or four small plates plus a salad made a satisfying, interesting meal. On a slow night just after Christmas only a few tables were occupied and the service was a bit distracted. The servers could be more communicative.

Made reservations for lunch. Arrived a bit early (~15 minutes). Restaurant was empty although it had been open for more than 30 minutes. A staff member was folding napkins at the bar and we asked if the restaurant was, indeed, open. He said he didn't know and disappeared to check. After about five minutes, he reappeared and led us to... More

When our friends suggested a Greek restaurant, I thought, well, okay, but Mourayo exceeded our expectations. We had the salt-crusted whole fish - wonderful. Very tasty appetizers that we shared (including muscles on skewers). Creative menu, excellent service.

We went here for a late dinner and weren't terribly hungry after all the wine and appetizers our inn had served, so we ordered light (one of their summer special dinners and the Santorini and Eggplant Salads.) Everything was delicious and we found ourselves relaxing and enjoying the serene setting for longer than we'd anticipated. Suddenly we realized what time... More

We loved this restaurant. It has delicious authentic Greek food in an elegant but unstuffy atmosphere. The staff is professional, helpful and friendly. It is also a very good value for the quality of the food. Try the octopus appetizer and the sardine appetizer . The moussaka is also delicious.

I like to talk about the different aspects of this restaurant to give you a better idea of the good, the bad, and the okay! (1). Service - we were greeted warmly and led to our table without delay (had reservations on Open Table). The host seemed quite nice. The waiter was busy but did manage to have us taste... More

Atmosphere is high quality. The food was great. We has the smoke octopus and it was every bit as good as what we experienced in the Greek Islands. The duck mousaka was out of this world delicious. I'm getting hungry thinking of it! The service was attentive, but young and unpolished. The food made up for it. Memorable dinner!

Came here on a recommendation from a friend who frequents DC quite often. Don't usually seek out Greek restaurants but decided to give it a shot. I could tell right off the bat that the server was either new, very nervous or both. Not being familiar with Greek wines I asked him a question that brought a few moments of... More

The pork medallions with fig were terrific. The branzino filets perfectly cooked if a bit under spiced. Baklava was about the best ever. Wonderful experience
