Nice dinner

We were headed to a show so we stopped here for dinner on the early side around 6pm. We were with our two grandkids, six of us total. Waitress was so patient, so caring. Took her time explaining the dishes, understood why we ordered apps instead of entrees. Locale is near metro stop; near many restaurants; a mile approx. from zoo.

We found this to be a nice little restaurant. The food was ok I had the Moussaka which was a little bit different than the usual but still good. The entrée of octopus was also ok. The service was very attentive and the waiter helped us select a nice Greek wine to go with the meal which was good as... More

This Greek restaurant offers typical Greek food. The quality of the dishes is rather average, but the real disappointment is the service, which is not attentive and it seems to be too much too have any special request like a salad without onions.

A little disappointed because they had run out of cod, and we weren't really there that late, but the branzino was very good. The service was attentive but not hovering, and the wine list was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, but it was not the ordinary run-of-the-mill Greek food.

We chose the restaurant based on the recommendation in the Washington Post Friday Weekend Section on April 10 and we went the next day after cherry blossoms, my wife's birthday. The review answered a reader's question about recommended Greek food and one restaurant was recommended as "new" Greek and Mourayo was recommended as "traditional". You would think that the eve... It looked good, and the menu was promising, but the food was so-so in ways that are hard to describe. Maybe not as fresh as it could have been. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

We ate here one evening during the DC blossom festival. The food is good, not excellent in my view, the service very good and the prices too high for what you get. If price is not a problem, go there, but if value is important, try the Bistro du Coin a little farther up the street. We did the second... More

My husband, daughter and I were so fortunate to get a reservation last night! The food was fantastic and the service was perfect. We started with Greek salad, bursting with ripe tomatoes, and a sampler of 5 savory dips served with delicious pita. Then we had chicken with cranberries and honey on shredded filo (nice), the grilled lamb (perfection) and... More

Try this place for its authentic Duck Mousaka, and very reasonably priced single malt scotch offerings. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal along with the very attentive and helpful service
