Wonderful Greek Food!

Try this place for its authentic Duck Mousaka, and very reasonably priced single malt scotch offerings. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal along with the very attentive and helpful service

I had a delicious pasta with rabbit sauce. I would live to go back. I drank the water all night and found it delicious.

My family grew up going to Greece and I am always searching for tasty, authentic, simple Greek food. The food is delicious and the flavors are on point. They have a calm dinning room which is tough to find in DC (great for a dinner where you want to hear what your company has to hear). Friendly staff committed to... More

Mourayo offers sophisticated Greek cuisine at reasonable prices in a comfortable and welcoming setting that evokes sunny, whitewashed Greece through subtle decorating touches. You do feel as though you have stepped into a safe harbor, which is the meaning of the restaurant's name. My companion and I started the grilled manouri cheese with cranberry coulis and pita bread triangles and... More

The service was good, however water served was just a tap water with a smell of chlorine. Waiting time was 45 min, which was OK, as I had a good company, so time was running fast. The food was of standard quality, and portions were small. Interestingly enough, the waiter did not want to split the bill (there were 5... More

Based on trip advisor reviews I was expecting more- maybe a big tip off would be the many open reservation times on open table. I dined on a Sunday evening - I made a reservation a few hours before. The restaurant was maybe half full. We were warmly greeted and service throught the meal was good. We ordered several cocktails,... More

If you're wanting souvlaki and spanakopita, you won't find it here. However, if you want to try some very good more regional Greek dishes Mourayo is your place. The service was excellent, portions were perfect and the space was cozy.

Mourayo satisfied a wide range of food preferences ranging from salad lovers to carnivores with a tasty offering of Greek dishes. I enjoyed a lamb stew served over a bed of orzo, while others at the table enjoyed fish and chicken dishes. The lamb was strongly enough flavored and firm enough to the tooth to pass for mutton. Sound levels... More

We started with cocktails but i received flat tonic, which was a disappointment and a friend suffered from the same. We started with the first course and I ordered the melitzanosalata, an appetizer of eggplant and tomatoes and other Greek standbys - which was thoroughly tasty - but we had to ask the waiter twice for bread. My dinner of... More

A delightful surprise on Valentine's Day. Cozy interior, great service, good appetizers (try the clam and chicken soup). Steak and Scallop entrees were uniformly delicious. Strongly recommend for lunch or dinner.
