We read the reviews on Tripadvisor and since we were staying close by in Georgetown, we walk over after making reservations- it was one of the best gourmet experiences we've had in some time! The staff was wonderful- we had a lovely Russian waitress- and the food was incredible- both in presentation and in taste- and we anxiously awaited our... More

We referred to this restaurant by our innkeepers and we were not disappointed. Service was great as was the food! My husband had a delicious eggplant appetizer...plenty for 2, and monk fish for his main. I had moussaka made with duck and it was divine! It was unlike any other Greek food we have had. We are Californians and even... More

This was a very nice Greek restaurant near Dupont Circle. My octopus appetizer featuring both cold octopus salad and a warm octopus with ink vinaigrette was sublime. The fava bean purée was an added bonus. The pork medallions with figs, honey and cheese was a wonderful combination of interesting flavors. I enjoyed this restaurant's food.

What a great place. Delicious food and a lengthy wine selection. Nice service and atmosphere was cozy and 'oceany'. Really authentic menu and would recommend it.

Food was excellent, service was warm and helpful (including accommodating my allergies), noise level was reasonable, and we didn't feel rushed out the door. I will definitely be back.

We had a fairly light meal of shared halloumi, chicken and fish main courses and one dessert of melon balls in mint and ouzo. All were delicious with good service. The sauces were just right and the fish was cooked to perfection. The organic chicken was not dried out (as so often happens). By the time we left the restaurant... More

The food is tasty. A number of creative and different dishes (beyond gyro, souvlaki, etc.), but all with an authentically Greek flavor. The ambiance is perfectly decent and waitstaff sufficiently friendly. The only 'complaint' I have is that I found it to be rather pricey for what you get. Perfectly good food, but we ended up spending over $150 for... More

Well we had this place recommended to us and it was not a let down. My Wife, wive's BFF and i had mains only with desert bill for the food was up around 100 and the wine 150, sorry we're not small drinkers. I had the beef with orange and mint chocolate sauce, would not be my first preference however... More

Our B and B recommended this one and we spoke to other guests who had eaten there. It was a 10 minute walk away. There are so many good restaurants in DC, this is one of them.

The grilled octopus appetizer was chewy, but flavorful and nicely presented. The sardine appetizer was also nicely presented, but could have been crispier. The duck Mousaka was absolutely superb but the presentation was lacking. It arrived as a big brown block, sitting in brown sauce with no garnish or some accompanying colorful veggie. The lamb chops were excellent. The wine... More
