Food is excellent. We liked the combination of North Indian and South Indian items in the menu and tried our hand at one of the spicy South Indian dish.. it was awesome but SPICY to its true heritage. Excellent Indian food just steps from the Cleveland Park Metro Stop. The Chicken Chettinad was recommended and quite tasty. The side vegetables and rice are well prepared and well presented. A late lunch at the bar and the party of three enjoyed chatting with Sahil managing the bar. The restaurant hosted a large birthday party and so enjoyed the festivities... More

The food is excellent, and the menu has a wide selection. The restaurant gave us a free appetizer to sample. The interior is pleasant. We ate upstairs. The food may be a bit too spicy for some kids. I loved this restaurant and will eat here again.

I ate dinner there last week at the suggestion of a neighbor who invited my friend and I to join her there. The ambience is serene and the food wonderful. And reasonably priced for DC. I'm not an expert on Indian food but what we all had (and shared) was just delicious. Dinner included Biriyani's (one veggie and the other... More

Was here after many years. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of the food, service and ambience have remained exquisite. The menu offers a mix of street chat, south Indian delicacies and north Indian cuisine. A very modestly priced restaurant worth visiting. One of my favourites in Washington DC.

I ordered the Chicken Masala and it was delicious. The wait staff was excellent. Parking is tough on a Saturday.

After a week in D.C I had started to miss indian food, my friend who lives in D.C was kind enough to take me to Indique. The place was jam packed that speaks of its popularity. Achari tacos, bhel puri, papri chat, sliders are a must in appetisers. Hold on there is Chicken makhani and paneer Malkhani with garlic naan... More

Eating often at Indian restaurants, i wasn't impressed with this one. Nice decor and acceptable service yes, but the food four of us ordered and shared last week had the distinct lifeless 'warmed over' look and taste you expect to find in tired buffet-style Asian restaurants for budget travelers around train stations in any city. Perhaps because it was Monday... More

Indique is indeed unique! I recommend the upstairs dinning area. The menu is simple but enough good choices. Many of the dishes have a spicy element to them so make sure you talk with your waiter to make sure there are no unwanted surprises. In my case i couldn't have been happier except when our otherwise great waiter got carried... More
