A dear friend recommended Firefly some time ago, but it wasn't until recently that we had a chance to try it for Sunday brunch. Unfortunately, the restaurant's reputation is widespread and the place - inside and outside - was packed. We were quickly seated at the bar where we were tended by a very congenial bartender. He must have been... More

I had the Firefly omelet and my wife the pancakes. Both were delightful. The service was first class with Joseph. The food was delivered timely and hot. The theme is very green minded and has a youthful vibe. Lots of fune and good food.

We had dinner here courtesy of the hotel where we are staying. Our waiter was great! We had the Mac and cheese fritters, deviled eggs, and matzoh ball soup for starters. Very good. Entrees consisted of salmon, pot roast, and their steak. All very good. Desserts included fritters, brûlée, ice cream rhubarb sandwich, and sorbet. All good but edging to... More

I went to Firefly on a Saturday night with a group of girlfriends for a celebration. We were seated promptly, and ordered off of the restaurant week price fix menu. Our group of six shared the appetizers, and really enjoyed the hummus, deviled eggs and matzo ball soup. We probably filled up too much on bread, it was warm and... More

The chicken whatever ball soup is horrible! Tasteless and expensive. The Kid's menu, Mac and Cheese is again tasteless and both of my kids didn't want to eat it. I ordered the smoked lamb shoulder. Wow, I don't know how to describe it. Just looking at it, I wouldn't want to eat it. And man, I was right. The taste... More

We had brunch here twice ... and both times, the food was great, as was the coffee. First brunch - three of us had the granola, dried fruit and yogurt - beautifully served and very tasty. The fourth had the breakfast BLT, which was also really good. Second brunch - I opted for fruit and a muffin... but the other... More
