Great Continental Restaurant.

Walking along a secondary street we came upon this restaurant. No reservation and we asked for an outside table for a drink. They were more than happy to accommodate. We ended up having a great brunch with salmon omelets. Great value for the great food and service.

The Peacock is perfectly situated in Georgetown. It's not on Wisconsin, the main street, but is right on a side street which makes it quieter, but right in the mix. We had a great brunch, with the right size portions and great service on white table cloths. Very nice.

This is one of the best all around restaurants in Georgetown. Most people believe Georgetown is packed with good restaurants, but it really isn't. Peacock is a shining star! The cuisine is not only excellent, but it is one of the best brunch spots in the entire city. The two owners are as welcoming as any restaurant owners I have... More

We had Easter brunch here while on a weeklong trip to DC. I chose this restaurant as they had a menu with GF items, as one daughter has celiac. Nice little spot, very nice tablecloths and servers were all cordial. I had a Bellini and the Peacock eggs Benedict. One daughter had the baked ravioli, and my husband and other... More

I agree with other reviews that it is nice but nothing exceptional. If you are in Georgetown, then surely it is fine. Do not make a special trip.we went for brunch, it was more like breakfast with a glass of wine.

We had lunch here with friends and while everything was good, there was just nothing exceptional. They have a fabulous outdoor patio in the back that would be terrific when the weather is warmer and that would deserve a higher rating for atmosphere. Service was efficient and good and the atmosphere was white tablecloth and cozy. I chose the Peacock... More

The service was very good and friendly. But the food - just so so. I had fish, a bit overcooked and more bones than I have ever seen in Bronzino. It's usually such a pleasant fish choice but I have always said " no fish on weekends - not fresh from the fish market." Should have listened to my own... More

Located in Georgetown, the Peacock Cafe continues to serve excellent food at great price points, including weekend breakfast/brunch. Two brothers own the restaurant and are always on-site to assure customer service and friendly conversation. Maziar, the chef, creates wonderful American cuisine, as well as special dishes from Persia. The pistachio soup is unforgettable. His French Toast with warm strawberries and... More

Just next door to the a more famous restaurant, the Peacock Cafe is an pleasant delight in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. The ambience is lovely, the service attentive, and the food, delicious. We walked past the crowd next door on the way out, and were glad we had dined at the Peacock!
