Sleek place with better than average Italian

Went with a big group and everyone felt well-fed between the pizzas, eggplant parm, spaghetti and meatballs. Very good service and a pleasant setting. A little cool to eat outside, but maybe next time? Lots of small kids, if that's an issue for you.

I went here with my family and we were waiting for our food for more than an hour. I feel this place needs to hurry up with their service.

My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner. She has the salmon with vegetables, and I had a mixed grill with salmon, shrimp, and some of the best calamari I've had. The service was good and overall an enjoyable meal. I'll return.

Great Location just a few blocks from Dupont Circle. Lasagna was better than the Fettucine Bolognese. Kind servers and special orders accomodated. Enjoyed dessert with recommended licqueur. Outdoor seating, but too cold for this visit. A nice time.

We ate here and enjoyed the mail. Nothing super out of the ordinary but good enough to hold up to Washington DC standards (which have improved over the years). We checked online and they had lots of room this past Saturday so we showed up without booking on-line. When we arrived, they said they were completely booked and could not... More

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this excellent restaurant as we were wandering around Dupont Circle searching for a place to dine. We did not have a reservation and the restaurant was packed. At first I thought we were going to be turned away, but the maitre'd was most accommodating. He offered us a table for two by the bar,... More

Just arrived in D.C. and wanted a quick simple dinner close to our inn. An average pizza would have been fine and this place supposedly had good wood fired pizza. The pie came out with generous toppings and fresh motzerella. Unfortunately when I picked up a piece everything, including the sauce, slid of the soggy limp crust. Perhaps the regular... More

Felt that this restaurant was a "minimum requirement" kind of place. The waiter was friendly. The place was half empty (Thursday night). The green salad was average. The pasta (butternut ravioli) was overly sauced and average. The bread basket arrived after we had started eating. Would not make an effort to eat here.
