We tried the cod fish balls , Vongole(!) pizza and couple of beers. This place has such good reviews so we decided to try. I would like to come back and try this place again with more recommendations as on this visit the food was just OK . The service was excellent . Please note that finding parking is a... More

We stopped into this restaurant late one afternoon after a busy day of site seeing. We had three in our party...2 of which are pizza connoisseurs...myself not being one of them. We shared an order of risotta balls and two pizzas. We also shared a cannoli for dessert. The cannoli was most unique as it had a citrus zest in... More

The pizza is amazing (although the crust is just slightly too thick). I wish there were more options for toppings, such as artichokes or other veggies. But still great. Good wine and beer selection. Excellent appetizer cheeses and prosciuttos. Wait staff at bar area not he friendliest or quickest to take care of customers' needs but waitress was very nice... More

My favorite pizza place. Particularly for their pizza crust, but also for their nice variety of toppings & side dishes. Love, love Two Amy's.

Met some friends here for dinner and had a couple of very good pizzas, which they are known for, but we started with a bowl of roasted olives. Mmmmmmmmmmmm. The spanish were my favorite, but all of the different varieties were excellent. If you go, be sure and try them.

Fair notice: I live about half a block from 2Amys and go there often. But even if I had to travel to get there, I would. It is the closest to a family-run pizzeria in Italy. And, ironically, the pizza is not its strong suit (although it is certified by the Italian government as authentic recipes). It's not that I... More

The Concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant. It is very close to the National Cathedral. We had 4 different types of pizza for our family of five. All of the pizzas were excellent. Our favorite had eggplant and olives. The pizzas are smaller than a typical pizza restaurant and I would say they are more the size of one... More

Authentic Italian pizza and many other delicious items. Get here early. There's always a line and they don't take reservations.

So, I finally made it to Two Amys. It's not bad, but after living in the greater DC area for a looooong time (as well as in Europe - so I've had real Neopolitan pizza recently), I expected more. The food was good. The wine was FABULOUS. The prices were way too expensive for what you get, and the service... More

The food is wonderful but the service is always mediocre. I would visit more often if the employees were friendlier. We were seated right away outside on the patio. There were 3 other tables full of guests. We didn't get greeted or acknowledged by our server for at least 10 minutes. He actually came outside, checked in with every other... More
