Absolutely terrific food served in wonderful space. Can't believe I never dined here when I lived in DC. Truly top-notch and worthy of its long-standing reputation as one of DC's finest restaurants. Absolutely terrific food served in wonderful space. Can't believe I never dined here when I lived in DC. Truly top-notch and worthy of its long-standing reputation as one of DC's finest restaurants. Our party of four shared a number of dishes that were each delicious, but the octopus, which was grilled/charred to perfection was the biggest hit. Will certainly return.

We really enjoyed our lunch break at Zaytinya! David was an excellent server - helping with food allergies and giving helpful food and drink recommendations. We were able to have several nice plates - enjoying the Brussels sprouts, spanakopita, salmon and octopus. The Brussels sprouts and spanakopita were our favorites along with the complimentary warm pita bread. Would definitely come... More

OMG - The food is absolutely terrific. What intrigue me to come to the restaurant was that the restaurant had relatively inexpensive entrees with good reviews. It was a rainy Wednesday night yet the place was quite busy and lively. The ambience is modern and upscale. I actually thought the menu was Mediterranean "bar food". But, what a surprise. The... We had eaten at Zaytinya last year and it was just as good the second time. The head chef even came out to discuss options for me since I'm currently very limited in what I can eat. Fun atmosphere and great food!

Highly rated restaurant in DC. Very good quality food and not crazy prices. Full of couples, groups and families - we can't all be wrong!

Went here on a monday during restaurant week and booked for 6pm. Was already fairly full when we arrived and soon packed out with people waiting for tables. Opted for the $35 restaurant week menu and ordered an extra veggie dish for my companian. The service was very prompt and in some cases the waiters were too attentive at adding... More

We went here last night for restaurant week and I absolutely loved it. We did not have reservations but we were able to get a seat in the back. I chose to do the restaurant week menu for thirty five dollars and felt that it was a great deal. It is a beautiful setting and the service for the most... More

Wonderful small plates, ranging the gamet of Mediterranean food. Some of what we had was great bread, teriffic hummus and babaganoush, and awesome orzo with chicken in a tomato sauce. I also had a delicious Chardonnay. My favorite restaurant in D.C.
