Zaytinya was nothing but delicious. The lemon soda was unreal, as was the Papa .... cocktail -- can't remember the name. We had a ton of the mezze, but the significant ones were Baba Ghanouj, the red pepper dip, the tzatziki, the kale salad, and the tabbouli. Everything was good, but those were the ones to write home about. A... More

Had lunch here with some coworkers on the day we arrived in DC. We all loved this Mediterranean take on a tapas bar. We ordered four different dips and practically licked the bowl. I also really enjoyed my fried mussel sandwich - yum!

I always preface my reviews by saying that I have physical handicaps, so a handicapped accessible restaurant is an absolute must. This particular day I was in a wheelchair. There is a ramp leading up to the entrance level. There are two entrance doors. It was a little tricky negotiating the doors, but we had some very nice people (strangers)... More

We sat at a bar table and had many glasses of obscure, interesting wines from their vast list. The waitress was very well informed and advised us on some really food-friendly choices. Small plates are the gig here, as is becoming (thankfully) more popular everywhere. Really fun to order many different things so you can try much of the menu.... More

Mediterranean tapas restaurant. Excellent service, great recommendations, and delightful flavors. I have had tapas before but not this delicious. Pricey. Gluten free menu with the small print dis-qualifier that they do not have a dedicated gluten free preparation area. I did not have any gluten issues.

We came here in a fairly large group for a business dinner, and we all left 100% stuffed and satisfied! All of their tapas were simply delicious, and the atmosphere and service were both fantastic. We will definitely return here next time we are in DC!

The Zaytinya environment is great, large, space, with a touch of style. But this is just the beginning. There is a large choice of mediterranea food mixing greek, lebanese and turkish. The plates were well presented, delicious, and with the good balance of spice. The service was kind and effective, remembering since the beginning that the dishes are not large,... More

We had not been to Zaytinya in several years. We went there directly from the airport and the food was as good as I remembered. We ate outside and had 4 small dishes and two desserts ( the small portions.) Everything was superb. We had a beet dish, the fries, a bean dish and an okra dish. It was all... More

I'm not sure I can add anything new to all the great reviews that Zaytinya gets, but I did want to suggest that you consider it for brunch based on our recent Sunday morning visit. There is a special Brunch menu, although the entire regular menu is available as well. The Patata Harra (fried potatoes, spice sausage and runny fried... More
