Went on a Wednesday evening with an 8:30 p.m. reservation. The restaurant was packed. We were seated closer to 9 p.m. All of the dishes we ordered were excellent. Our server, while when at our table was very good. However, she was nowhere to be found for most of our meal. As an example, she came to our table, asking... More

The food here is just so darn good! I had the falafal burger, Lebanese fries, brussel sports and eggplant. There was plenty to share with the table. I'm a big fan of middle-eastern food and this was some of the best I've had on the East Coast. Service was really good and our waitress was very helpful. It's a big,... More

Of all the restaurants we've been to, my wife and I agreed this was our favorite. First of all, the food was right up our alley - a modern blend of Turkish, Greek and Lebanese fair. We were with my family celebrating my wife's birthday. Each person ordered 3-4 dishes as well as a few appetizers thrown in for good... More

Because of the great reviews and word of mouth enthusiasm we were prepared to be wowed, but wowed we weren't. The 20$ lunch special is a pretty good deal, but the flavors did not stand out. Both the hummus and babbaganoush had too much lemon. The babbaganoush also did not have that smoky flavor of roasted eggplant. My salmon was... More

We visited the National Gallery of Art and checked to see what was relatively close by other than the usual. We located Zaytinya's, and were able to park right around the corner (it was a Sunday) and got a table immediately with no reservation. It got a lot busier while we were there, so if you came later than we... More

Prior to heading to DC for business, I searched tripadvisor for dining recommendations. Zaytinya ranked pretty high...so I decided to check out their website in advance of my stay. Looked great. I actually emailed the restaurant to ask about the option to eat at the bar...their GM (Brian) got right back to me and assured me that they would have... More

I was blown away by the ethnicicity of this place. We had never been to a middle eastern restaurant and were a little intimidated by the selection. Our waitress was ver helpful suggesting a wine to compliment our 4 small dishes which was plenty if food.

My colleague and I went here for dinner and ordered a variety of dishes. Many of the dishes are middle eastern. We enjoyed everything we tried, but I have to say they had the best Kibbah (baked) I have ever had anywhere including the long closed (lamented by me) Bishop's in Lawrence, MA. I highly recommend that dish. My one... More

This is an amazing restaurant. The phyllo is made here, then it just gets better from there! Just some of the best Greek food I have had anywhere!

There were some nice surprises on the all-small-plate menu. Most everything was well prepared and tasty. We were a party of seven, and we shared almost everything (about 25 different plates). We were seated in the balcony area, which is very noisy. And although it was a weeknight, the restaurant was extremely busy, and they told us they needed the... More
