The selection and quality of the food items were wonderful! Very enjoyable meal and even the kids found items they liked.

We went for lunch to this place. It was quite busy. The waiter was quite mechanical and stressed. The food was all right, but nothing extraordinary. When we finished the bill was immediately placed on our table. All in all this place is average but for the performance they delivered it is overpriced.

We have been to Zaytinya a couple of times in the past and it has always been outstanding. We were there again last night and it was as usual superb. The place was packed and although we had reservations, they were running a little late, so we had to wait for a while. But it was well worth the wait.... More

We met our son and daughter and the grandkids here for dinner while staying nearby at the Renaissance Hotel. The food was excellent and the bar well stocked. The bar tender told me the name means "Olive Oil" but is spelled slightly differently. We ate several Tappas-Type plates and enjoyed the taste. The Falafel and humus were amazing.

A Washington DC local suggested this spot and it did not disappoint. It is a Mediterranean restaurant that specializes in small plates (Lebanese, Turkish and Greek cuisine). The venue itself is lovely although be warned that it is usually packed, so be sure to get a reservation. Also, it seemed that some spots could be very noisy. Where we sat... More

Stopped in on our way to an event at Verizon Center. The wait for a table was over one hour so we stood at the bar. After placing our order, our bartender noticed that the cocktail table behind us was available and suggested we go sit there and our food would be sent over. The staff was very attentive and... More

3 of us dined here for an early dinner before a show at the Kennedy Center. Service was adequate but not top notch--after receiving our drinks, our server disappeared for quite some time and then someone else reappeared (must have been a shift change). Despite that, the food was excellent. Many small to medium sized plates to share (mezzes) that... More

Great Middle Eastern fare with a flair. While I lean toward Chef Andres' Latin influenced Jaleo and Oyamel on 7th, for a group of 6-8, this place is a great space. Call to reserve a table for your group on the mezzanine level between the main floor and the second level. You'll have your choice of mouthwatering Mediterranean appetizers/tapas and... More
