Best restaurant I have been to in a while!

Really, even if you are not a big enthusiast of Greek/Turkish fare, give this place a try. We sampled 8 small plates, and every one was very good. You are likely to encounter novel ingredients or pairings, but they work incredibly. My compliments to the chef! We were looking for a place that would... read more

This is one of the best restaurants in the world, food that will have you licking your plate and lots of vegetarian options too. Love their pita bread.

This is a very trendy, DC restaurant, that lives up to its reputation. They serve mediterranean type food, using the small plates way to serve. We had many fabulous creations, largely vegetarian and fish was what we mostly chose. It was ooo la la and quite a lovely place to celebrate a graduation.

Go with a friend and an adventurous appetite. If you don't know what to order, ask the waiter and they will guide you through the menu! You will not regret it!

It can be hard to get a table at Zaytinya at night but try at lunchtime. I've had a variety of Mediterranean tapas and nothing that was not great. Even the snails! The small plate/sharing route is definitely the way to go.

The most enjoyable part of this restaurant was the Lebanese wine we had on our first meal in DC. The food is Turkish, Lebanese and the best part of the meal was the freshly baked bread. The tapas were average.

Recently went back to Zatinya for a birthday dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious. The menu has a wide range of choices and so much looked good that we kept eating until we were totally stuffed. We had a range of meat, chicken, and vegetarian and I can honestly say there wasn't a dish I didn't enjoy. The restaurant is... More
