We have always had good food and drinks here. It had been awhile since we ate here, but we were not disappointed. We sat at the bar. Bartender was very nice, helpful and professional.

I love this restaurant and go fairly often. The loudness is crazy. They need to insulate the walls or so sthing but the outside seating is perfect. The food is outstanding.

Good Mediterranean food and easygoing atmosphere. Service lacked attentiveness but could have been the person waiting on us. Priced reasonably for downtown location.

I've been coming to Zaytinya since it first opened and for several months, stopped by 2-3x a week because it was so delicious. Now, I hardly go every few months. They've dropped several of the best things on the menu while mediocre plates stuck around. The bread is still the best part which they bring you with olive oil and... More

I have eaten at Zaytinya 3 times this year and each meal was very good. The wait staff is knowledgeable about the food and helpful. Order small plates and share - the drinks are very well suited to the food. Outdoor seating is nice - there always seems to be an upbeat vibe which makes for an enjoyable evening.

A great stop for middle Eastern style food. It's been a fave of mine for a number of years now and it always provides quality food. A great pre-game spot for happy hour before a Wizards game.

Zaytinya is my favorite Mediterranean restaurant. It serves both Greek, Lebanese and Turkish mezze a.k.a. tapas (Spanish). And, boy! are they all tasty! At lunch/brunch, the menu is like an old fashioned Chinese menu: pick one from column A, two from column B, etc. For $25 you get 4 courses of these savory dishes. The portion sizes are not really... I went to this interesting restaurant with some friends. Overall the experience was good. The restaurant, as far as I could know, is full very often so it is not easy to get a table. That has an influence on the level of noise that is too high and causes problems to have a normal conversation. It is something that... More

I have been to Zaytinya several times--the most recently of which was during Winter 2014 Restaurant Week. While I would recommend frequenting Zaytinya, I would not recommend doing so during winter or summer restaurant week. The service was truly horrible. Dishes were forgotten, food was brought lukewarm--all of which are incredibly atypical for this top 100 restaurant. Every other time... More
