A really good meal

Went for a late lunch on a Saturday and had a really nice meal. It is small plates, so know that and that sharing is the best way to go. We went to Zaytinya with our friends. The food was delicious but little small portions and expensive. However, their meze menu has several options from Mediterranean kitchen, which goes really well with a large variety of drinks. Staff was friendly and the athmosphere was quite good.

Took my wife and son here for dinner the night we dropped him off for college. Sat outdoors and were able to enjoy ~10 different dishes (shared). Loved the crab cakes, calamari, fried mussels, lamb, humas and a few others. The atmosphere was great as was the service. Constant refills on the pita bread which was always nice and warm.... More

We--a party of 5 including 1 child of 9 years--had a WONDERFUL meal at Zaytinya. Middle eastern fare. Tapas style. Absolutely delicious! (3 of us are vegetarians; both veggies and meat eaters had equally lovely experiences.) MAKE RESERVATIONS!!! (Note: We tried to do so online the morning we wanted to dine but couldn't so we called as soon as the... More

Great food beautiful setting. Very well served. The bread is superb served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Small plates made specially for sharing Exotic flavors Great desserts in small portions also. Order their sorbet to end a wonderful and tasty meal. We had olive oil, rose and peach sorbet.

I came for lunch on a workday, they were quite busy but a seat was immediately available at the bar. The service at the bar was good and very attentive, but the nature of bar seating allows the service to be constant without being disruptive. The food was quite good, the spanakopita was an unorthodox egg roll shape but earned... More

This place is bustling and you feel like you are in the middle of where everyone in D.C. is! Delicious, different, tapas style Greek and Lebanese food. Also an extensive cocktail list. Portions are small enough to share with your group so you can try many different dishes.

We hadn’t dined at Zaytinya in over 10 years and made reservations for 11:30am on a Saturday. Although we arrived about 30 minutes late (we called and informed them of such), the place was still pretty empty and we were seated promptly. The front desk staff was just fabulous! The standouts -- Brussels sprouts, octopus, and Turkish delight. Hubby, who... More

This restaurant is amazing! I've visited many times and always had a great experience. When in doubt, order the chef's menu - it will fill you up with the best of the kitchen at a very affordable price! One note, while the space is beautiful, it can be loud, so may not be best for those who are hard of... More

Amazing middle eastern cuisine! Waiter was terrific. A storm came up and they were able to bring the whole outside in and seat everyone. The entire restaurant was a mix of cultures and ages, but all were chic and seemed into the food.
