A wide variety of well prepared mezze ( appetizers) served in a noisy, crowded, space by servers with an attitude. That about sums up my experience. This is by no means great food. It is good by DC standard but when you compare this mezze with what is served in Aleppo, Beirut, Cairo , Dubai or even NYC it falls... More

We couldnt get a reservation because they were booked over a week in advance, but we walked in at 5 and were seated right away. This was the worst service I've ever had in that our waiter was too busy flirting with bar customers and the food was coming out of the kitchen too fast - with tapas, I normally... More

My kids and I went in for lunch on a Saturday and we all really enjoyed it. My son had the 4 course lunch and texted his friends about how great it was. They don't have a kids' menu but my kids don't mind eating off the regular menu. It's a little pricey for lunch, but the food is worth... More

Ate lunch here, and each dish was more interesting an beautiful than the last! The food was excellent, as was the service. The only danger at such a restaurant is that one has a tendency to order too much food! We didn't have room for dessert!

We had made reservations for 17 and ended up being 19. This, in spite of a full house in a saturday night was graciously managed by the attentive personnel. Then the food! In spite of being a fix menu the "mezze" included were great, the sharing of so many wonderful dishes with diverse and original taste was fun and an... More

I ate lunch here. The food was great, seemed authentic. There is a large food and wine selection. I was happy with the food and service, and would recommend the restaurant.

We popped into Zaytinya before heading to a Washington Capitals game (very close to the venue). So very glad we did! This was an eclectic mix of food options, and we LOVED the meal! It was such a joy to be able to order appetizer sized portions of many, many foods. When the menu is this extensive and this interesting,... More

This is a really fun restaurant with great food. The menu is very extensive with foods for every pallet. The service was friendly and very good. It was mother's day when we went and I was worried because we did not have a reservation and they were very busy but they accommodated us with smiles and a mothers day rose.... More

4.3 Why did it take me so long to discover Zaytinya. Can't believe it's been there for ten years and I just found it. Zaytinya was hoping on a rainy Sunday night. We ate our way through 5 or so small plate dishes each one better than the last. We'll go back again again for the food, the service, and... More
