My family chose So's Your Mom for lunch the Saturday we moved our daughter into her apartment. Despite a line of 10 people, the counter staff took our order quickly and our food came in reasonable time. The bagels were great, my sandwich (emanthaler and avocado on whole wheat) was tasty and filling (great value for $6.95). Definitely a great... More

Cash only. But there is an ATM next door. Always a long line. And well worth the wait. Boar's Head meats and cheeses! Prepared deli salads, chips, juices, coffee, pastries and specialty foods. But this place is all about the sandwich. Plan on a 7-10$ meal.

Way above average quality meats, cheeses, bagels and some hard to find condiments. Very good breakfast selections. Cash only, but worth the inconvenience.

I live right over there and didn't even know it existed until I literally bumped into someone coming out. The Italian sandwich was amazing, and the rest of the menu also looked good too. Highly recommended.

All the sandwiches I have eaten from here over the past couple of years have been good. Soups are also good. Service is attentive and quick, although there usually is a line. No place to eat there, it's takeout. For me, no visit to Washington and this neighborhood would be complete without a visit to this place.

Gotta say for all the deli hype this place gets, I can't say I was terribly impressed. It's a decent neighborhood sandwich joint. Nothing super special. With the demise of Mortys and the greater and greater distances required to get to real deli -- like the Parkway Deli for example - I suppose folks are willing to settle. That said,... More

We walked here on Sunday morning to get breakfast sandwiches. The bagel sandwich I had was very tasty - though it could have used a bit of salt. The menu of sandwiches available all day looked good, and the prices were great. The baked goods in the bakery case looked awesome, and though we didn't try any, they were selling... More

This is a great little deli in Adams Morgan. The sandwiches are quite good, there's a wide-ranging assortment to choose from, and the service is excellent -- a very warm vibe in this family-run (I think) operation. Downsides: No place to sit and some of the bric-a-brac looks like it's been there for decades. I've also had uneven experience with... More
