The menu at Mimi's is adequate, but not terribly imaginative. Prices are rather high given the ordinary quality of the food. The restaurant has been repainted and subdued. In the process it has lost some of its energy. The service is pleasant but not terribly capable. Waiters do double duty as entertainers and singers. Perhaps that is why they do... more

Four of us went to Mimi's for dinner on March 23 and received some of the slowest service I have experienced in DC. Mimi's is artsy with rich colors and textured sheers dividing off the dining room. It is romantic with tall taper candles creating a warm glow. And the music!
