JMJ Really enjoyed the visit here until it got later and the rude drunks showed up. Go earlier unless you are a rude drunk and you'll enjoy the atmosphere and the food and drinks. It is so dark especially if you sit near the back bar that a flashlight would be helpful! Music is offered every night and so we... More

Recently went to this establishment for the first time, can't highly recommend the food. The music was good, I was able to hear two different bands. The one thing that bothered me about the music was one of the bands was basically begging for money. He stated that his daughters that were backing him up, are very talented and we... More

One of my favorite music spots in DC. I come here a couple times a month on week days and there is always room to dance with a date and sometimes get a seat at the bar. Don't let anyone tell you this place is not perfect.

The place is very good with live music, floors with different styles and fine drinks but mostly they have the best cheesesteak I have ever tasted, and I have been to Philadelphia. Do not miss it.

my local friend brought me to Madam's Orgnan (an acronym of Adam's Morgan, the name of the street) where he loves to have a beer and listen to the live band. This was quite an experience on a Friday night, with the place packed after 6pm. The ambiance was wonderful with people dancing and singing. We have not tasted the... More

This bar has it all. Live music downstairs, club/DJ scene one level up, and a chill rooftop bar. Drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is very unique. It really has it all, whatever you're in the mood for, they have it. If you are tired of one floor, just go up or down a level. Close to a lot... More

Be warned, here is a copy of the email I sent to management of the restaurant. Been there many times and the staff was not friendly, but at least I got to eat. Don't get to DC often enough, but last night I hurried from the Hilton to your restaurant looking forward to having some awesome soul food at Madam's... More

I'd heard of Madam's Organ from a friend and we stopped in to watch a football game. We ordered a round of drinks and some nachos. The drinks were strong and decently priced and the nachos were what I expected for bar food. The nachos had nacho cheese, refried beans, peppers, onions, jalapenos, sour cream and a house-made salsa. The... More

The inside looked like a western saloon. Live band was ok. Way too crowded. Better to go to the upper levels where it's less crowded and some air conditioning. This bar is fun when your with a group of friends and not for pickups.

50 years back I lived in Calvert St. We came to look around the old place and landed up here. And glad that we did. From start to finish it was a great evening. We asked the guys hanging outside if they knew of a nice place to visit for live music and they said it was here. And boy... More
