The inside looked like a western saloon. Live band was ok. Way too crowded. Better to go to the upper levels where it's less crowded and some air conditioning. This bar is fun when your with a group of friends and not for pickups.

50 years back I lived in Calvert St. We came to look around the old place and landed up here. And glad that we did. From start to finish it was a great evening. We asked the guys hanging outside if they knew of a nice place to visit for live music and they said it was here. And boy... More

This is an odd gem of a bar in Adams Morgan. They have a lot of fun here while keeping it laid back and relaxed. All people are welcome to kick back and hang out to surprisingly good live music. The atmosphere of the bar doesn't even seem to fit for the locale. If it wasn't so busy, I would... More

We dropped in for a drink and stayed a bit longer due to the band which was decent. The server was very nice and average drink prices.

What a weirdo joint. The drinks watered down, and the food just plain Gross. Lot of trans genders, Gays & Lesbians. Place was dirty and plenty of roaches. If there is a Hell? This is the gateway

They have live music here every night - at the weekend it's blues and the band were fantastic. The dance floor gets crowded but there is another bar upstairs, and tables for sit down service. The waitress did very well as it was really busy. Great selection of cocktails too - definitely make a visit!

Very good bar and vibe for your after dinner crowd. 3 very different floors each with its own distinct character for whatever mood you are in. Loved this place and would frequent it more often if I lived in the area.

I swung by Madam's Organ to catch an old school country act (Human Country Jukebox) and the atmosphere there was excellent. Not fancy, but everyone was having a great time - perfect for a casual night out for a couple beers.

Excellent for seeing bands, have a lot of drinks and meet people. Soul food, cheap, and just a great place to hang out.
