Consistently Good Meal

I've dined at Logan Tavern on prior visits to D.C. It's a staple for me due to the warm and cozy atmosphere and the consistently good food. This trip did not disappoint. Service was decent, not great, but not horrible. The food on the other hand was superb. I started with the steamed mussels... read more

I found myself wondering around this neighborhood looking for grub... I walked a long ways trying to find a decent spot with a bar! I walked pAst Logan tavern & saw a small bar with s good whiskey selection... I sat at the bar & went with the bartenders recommendation of a chicken sandwich & fries... Chicken samich was amazing!... More

Miles upon miles better than their sister restaurant, The Pig. We were visiting DC and ate at Logan Tavern twice. The service was great each time! Brandon and Wynter were excellent servers. This was a great spot to bring kids and strollers and enjoy a very tasty meal. The brussell sprout appetizers are to die for! We also enjoyed the... More

Living near 14th street there are plenty of places to go for food. Here you can never go wrong. The menu is broad and everything is deliciously cooked. It's a go to place when you just don't know what you want to eat. You will find something to please for any meal. The service can be a bit spotty if... More

I enjoyed my lunch at the Logan - the menu is decent and the quality of the food was right for the price. The only downside was the constant attempts to up-sell by the waitress

We ate here recently on the way to a neighborhood show. It is a relatively small place but you are not crowded in. The service was quick and changes requested were readily accommodated. I ordered a roasted Caesar Salad and asked for Salmon rather than meat or shell fish. Generally I accept Salmon since nothing else is available for fish... More

Thanks to the kitchen staff for their willingness to prepare a hamburger (without bread, cheese, pickles and condiments) without salt, sautee some onions and fresh veggies to allow me to stay on my very low sodium dietary regimen. Friends who were not on this restriction enjoyed their choices and some were able to substitute side dishes, at a price however,... More

My wife and I eat here regularly, as well as bringing our parents when they're in town. It's our favorite reasonably-priced restaurant in DC, with a broad selection of delicious dishes. I've tried most of the dishes here at one time or another, but the Chicken Paillard is probably the star dish (breaded chicken over grits, topped with goat cheese... More
