I have eaten at the is place twice. 1st time was better than the last, so take that as batting 50%. This place is opulent. The menu is large so you can get anything you want. They serve some rare fish so I you should be able to find things you wouldn't normally find i.e. Caviar, Cobia. My recommendation -... More

My husband has been wanting to go to DC Coast since it opened so he thought he would surprise me for Valentine's Day. What a great surprise. Naturally we had to order off of the Valentine menu which was double the price for this special day which is just our fault for picky a day like this. Nonetheless, the food... More

The seafood was fresh and tasty. Try the Oysters, then the Scallops. A great bar and extensive wine list. Service was excellent.

A day trip to the city took us to this part of town. Our request for a table (without a reservation) was graciously granted and we enjoyed the view from the banquette that resembled an ocean wave. The food was delicious and the ingredients were combined in a clever and fresh manner. Our request to share plates was deftly handled... More

We were laid over in DC due to a blizzard in Chicago, and our hotel recommended DC Coast for a great bite to eat. Great atmosphere, sophisticated, yet comfortable. We ate at the bar to scope things out a bit, and the bar tender Matt greeted us warmly, and made some great suggestions for lunch. The menu was one which... More

Recommended by a friend DC Coast lived up to it's billing. The service and the setting was wonderful but you will go back again for the food. I would recommend the pear Salad as a starter or the Blue Crab Cocktail. The Dover Sole, Rockfish and Surf and Turf were all excellent. It was my daughters Birthday and they over... More

We were here for a private function but had also eaten here a few months ago. Great service and menu. We had the DC Coast salad which is bountiful. Followed with crab cakes - there's no asking "where's the crab?" for this option!! Solid crab throughout. I do wish there had been a sauce for dipping though. Steak done to... More

I ate at DC Coast twice on my latest trip to DC and it was great. The first trip I took a small group of business colleagues (7) and the second trip, 3 of us decided to stop in at the last moment. Both trips were very good experiences. Food was excellent, presentation was good, waiters were attentive and outstanding.... More
