I was looking all over DC for a great cannoli. My husband's from NYC, and all he wanted for his birthday was a cannoli. Vace had it- fresh made sweet ricotta with little chocolate chips filled to order. The classic cannoli. They also have great pizza if you want a quick slice. We've also bought their fresh pastas several times,... More

got some frozen raviolis for dinner. great. will go back to try their sandwiches and pizza. the only downside is that if youre visiting there is no seating. last point, as in the "godfather", "dont forget the cannolis"

We walked to Vace after a trip to the zoo with our children- it is very near the Cleveland Park metro stop. The food was great, the kids had a slice of pizza, we had an italian sub and spinach stuffed focaccia. The food comes wrapped in foil and we took it to a bench across the street (no seating... More

First of all, Vace is not a restaurant. There's no place to sit down, so it's carry-out only. Second, you go to Vace for the thin pizza. A large is about $10-$11, a real steal. It's not the best pizza in DC (that would be 2Amys), but it's very good for the price. Vace also has other deli staples like... More

Is just a small piece of Italy in DC. Is like being in Italy for sure...homemade pasta, pizza, sauces, sandwiches, chocolates, awesome wine selection and coffee all from italy. You can order pizza or subs and they are freshly made! I wish they become a sitting deli!!

I go here mainly for the ravioli and other filled pastas. The quality is always the best. But I sometimes can't resist a slice of pizza and usually pick up some schviadel (Sfogliatelle) when they have it on weekends.

I have been going to Vace for 24 years and I can tell you that it tastes just as amazing now as it did back then. As soon as you walk in you know its the real deal with aroma of fresh dough, garlic and spices. It is carry out only so get paper plates and napkins and have a... More

People stand in live for the pizza, which is not that great. The fresh pasta is great. A neighborhood treasure, but not necessarily worth driving in for.

Good place for pizza (and by the slice) and frozen pastas and sauces. In the heart of Cleveland Park, very near a Red Line Metro stop. Reasonable prices.

I love Vace. It's a pretty small deli with no seating, so don't come here for dinner. All of their food is take out and includes delicious pizzas and really good sandwiches. In addition to their slices, whole pizzas and sandwiches, there are lots of other italian goodies - large cans of olive oil and italian coffee, frozen pastas and... More
