Hidden away on a side street in the south part of Georgetown (right on the C&O Canal, Baked and Wired was a delightful discovery today. At least 12 varieties of cupcakes along with cookies, pastries and pies make it difficult to make a choice. The cupcakes emphasize "cake" more than "cup" as they are very large portions wrapped in a... More

Coffee and cakes were just fine, although I felt like I was in a Nightclub line first thing in the morning. Music a little loud and lots of people hanging around the counter waiting on Coffee. A little too hectic and wired for me first thing in the morning. Nice space and a really great busker outside helped calm the... More

We get to DC four or five times a year and always try to get to Baked and Wired. The Razmanian Devil cupcake is one of the best things I've ever eaten in any food category But you can't go wrong here. My family and I have tried just about every one of the cupcakes and they're all amazing. They're... More

Baked and Wired has the best desserts, especially there cakecups! I purchased these for a baby shower recently and they were a hit! Everyone loved them! They are my go to place anytime I have a birthday party, or other event where dessert is needed. Perfect every time! The Flavors are outstanding!

The cupcakes here are the best, and their banana bread is really good too! The other advantage to Baked and Wired is their prices are a little lower and their crowds are a little smaller. Those in the know get their cupcakes here.

Quick service and a high quality cup of coffee in the morning... but the baked goods are mostly desserts, not much in the breakfast department. Maybe it's a good afternoon break.

Travelled to Washington last year with my spouse without the children and we visited Baked and Wired twice during our stay. We just returned to the city and this time we travelled with the children. We brought them to Baked and Wired and they loved it, and so did my spouse and I. We ordered three "chocolate doom" cupcakes, one... More

Fabulous cakes - well worth a visit. Better than Magnolia Bakeries! Just cakes sold here - no sandwiches etc
