One for the beautiful and trendy. The muffins are incredible but if you want a good breakfast this is not for you.

Visited here twice in our all too short 3 day trip to DC, once for coffee and quiche and once for coffee and cake. The choice of cakes was vast and kept my kids more than happy on both visits whilst the adults went for quiche the first visit and cakes on the second. The quiche was fantastic, lots of... More

Not as good as expected. Yes the cupcakes are bigger and some of the flavors were unique but the line was way to long for these. Flapjack cupcake was larger but there was too much cake to frosting ratio. The cake was dry and bacon topping dry also. Razzmanian devil had a good lemon flavor but only had a teaspoon... More

We visited here on Valentine's night and loved the cupcakes. The line was long, but moved fast. We ordered 4 cupcakes and 1 brownie and my husband couldn't believe it was only $20! We would defiantly go here over the other cupcake shop any day

Better than Georgetown cupcakes (why anyone waits in the line is beyond me). Baked and Wired is lovingly adored by DC locals for having the best cupcakes in DC. However, in addition to a variety of delicious baked goods, Baked and Wired touts amazing granola ("hippie crack"), seasonal cookie ice-cream sandwiches, and delicious coffee. The best way to enjoy this... More

Don't wait in those terrible lines for those itty bitty cupcakes down the street. Go through the quick line at Baked & Wired and you won't be sorry. It's always busy, but I've never waited more than 10 minutes in line. And oh my goodness, SO good. My favorites are always the red velvet & carrot cake, but dirty chai... More

Easy to walk past except the constant flow of locals popping in. Great coffee shop that would easily be at home in Sydney, and a huge election of cookies, slices and cakes, both cupcake or large whole cakes. The shop is divided into two sides (pay separately per side), as you enter the shop head right for coffee orders &... More

FOODIES MUST COME HERE!! Cupcakes are delicious and freshly baked, the names for the flavors are fun and unique. Coffee is the best I had during my stay in DC. Prices are ok and it was easy to find. We had our coffee outside and enjoyed the view. Wait time was short and staff is nice and friendly.

I've seen various reviews claiming that the cupcakes at Biked and Wired are dry, overpriced and not worth the hype. I am here to absolutely refute every negative claim surrounding these golden cupcakes. Baked and Wired has a plethora of flavors and different options every time I visit. The dirty chai, rainbow poops, pumpkin, are all delicious and well worth... More
