I discovered Baked and Wired at a pot luck dinner. I have been a fan ever since. The cupcakes are always fresh and the flavor combinations cover the spectrum. Like all the ones with espresso flavors. Coffee much better than the chains.

I was visiting DC for a long weekend recently. I've walked past Baked and Wired many times on previous trips to Washington but I have never gone inside. It is near the hotel I stay in Georgetown and it is close to the canal. After seeing the high accolades on TripAdvisor, I decided to try it for an afternoon "pick... More

My husband and I loved our first visit to Baked and Wired so much, we had to visit again before we left. The cakes and slices were heavenly and the coffee and hot drinks were delicious. The atmosphere was buzzing and urban, very fitting for a cafe in Georgetown. Wish we could've gone for a third time!

Don't get the hype over their cupcakes, but the coffee/tea "wired" section is legit. Great coffee and excellent hot chocolate. Seating and spacing is cramped, but at least there are two separate lines for the cupcakes and the baristas.

All I can say is that was the best Red Velvet cupcake! There was a nice selection of cupcakes and brownies. Some cupcakes are seasonal but there are plenty of substitutes if the don't have what you came for. The Chai latte was also good.

Excellent Espresso and Pumpkin donut muffin and Bacon cheddar scone. The coffee and food are amazing. The interior is lacking a little bit and it is hard to maneuver once inside.

I was a bit dissapointed maybe because the place came highly recommended and made a long drive to try it out. The place was busy on a cold winter afternoon and a long line that extended outside welcomed us. So this place does have its fans. I was disapointed with the Apple Crumb Pie but the Strawberry Cupcake was quite... More

I heard a ton of great things about this place so my expectations were high. All of them were met. Outstanding place, delicious food, great service. No brainier. You gotta get here.

Bakery goods, coffee/beverages all topnotch. Staff best ever. Mobbed from time to time; but, B&W knows how to handle mobs. Excellent Barristas. Cupcakes: There are none better anywhere. Pies, Hand pies: Crazily delicious. "Bee Stings": Shortbread, sliced almonds, honey, sugar. Should be a controlled substance. Very special place.

I went to Baked and Wired religiously in my 4-week stay in D.C. Such a chill place, I went there to read my books and act cozy in their comfy couches. Their cupcakes are ridiculously delicious, my favorite being The Red Velvet one. One thing that caught my eye is the creative naming of their goods, it is hilarious! A... More
