Went there during Spring Break and I was surprise to see a long queue there, too (after seeing Georgetown cupcake) but the line moves pretty quick. But overall I had a great experience with Baked and Wired, I got the cupcake with raspberry and it was nice. I also like the vibe here comparing to Georgetown cupcake.

Amazing cup cakes and coffee. The portions are pretty big. The selection is excellent. They even have vegan and gluten free selections which taste incredible. I come back consistently whenever in the mood for sweats and a good cup if coffee.

We went here after reading all the great reviews on Trip Advisor whne we are in town. The coffee and cupcakes were great. My friends waited in line at Georgetown cupcakes; dummies! No reason to this is the place.

We went to go and get cupcakes, I consider myself a cupcake connoisseur and there are a ton of cupcake bakeries within a 1 mile radius. The cupcakes are huge, you can share for sure. Although the icing was awesome, the cake a little dry and lacked flavor. The atmosphere was great too, awesome to sit on the sidewalk and... More

This is all the locals favorite coffehouse and cupcake place in DC.....if you watch TV and the dreadful show DC cupcakes, then you see Georgetown Cupcake which is OK but not nearly as good as Baked and Wired......

Enormous cupcakes and lots to choose from. I like the atmosphere, a lot of people are working or reading there. There are books and magazines to read, so you won't need to bring your own. My espresso was very strong, so I got a glass of water with it without even asking. You can write something on a napkin and... More

I know the cupcakes are outrageously good (the "Elvis" anyone)? But if you try nothing else, DO NOT LEAVE without a bag of Hippie Crack! It is THE BEST, most delicious and addictive granola I have ever tasted! I have already had two separate shipments sent to me in Massachusetts and am ecstatic that my son will be a Freshman... More

Four of us came here for dessert after dinner at a nearby Georgetown restaurant. Good choice! Four different cupcakes and four happy faces. Having the coffee bar separate from the cupcake bar is a little inconvenient, though. It means two transactions if you want to buy a cup of coffee and a cupcake.

I visit once or twice a week before work. Not a corporate coffee shop. In fact, it's not just for coffee. Cup cakes are inventive, large and tasty. If you need a cake for a birthday or special event, call ahead and order. The baristas serve up good brew, and try one of their biscuits with your morning jolt: you'll... More
