Travelled to Washington last year with my spouse without the children and we visited Baked and Wired twice during our stay. We just returned to the city and this time we travelled with the children. We brought them to Baked and Wired and they loved it, and so did my spouse and I. We ordered three "chocolate doom" cupcakes, one... More

Fabulous cakes - well worth a visit. Better than Magnolia Bakeries! Just cakes sold here - no sandwiches etc

I know they say they sell cupcakes but they are muffins! Big muffins! They are the best cupcakes I ever had. They were so good I bought extra to take to work. Everyone was fighting over them.

Huge homemade cupcakes. Great flavor options and friendly staff. Favorites are the red velvet, strawberry and peanut butter. The line (when there is one) moves quickly. There is a different line for the coffee.

We kinda came across town to stop in here, and we’ll happily do it again. The coffee was great; the chocolate chip-banana bread was awesome; and the sweet tea + lemonade was hella refreshing out on the sidewalk table amongst twittering birds (who actually got kind of aggressive). But what rocked our day was the beautiful people behind the counter.... More

I dream about the strawberry cupcake. Crystalized sugar icing atop a perfectly moist cake - all natural, not thick, hard and fondant style like others around town. The real deal.

We wanted to get some cupcakes, but the line at a competitor's shop was at least an hour. we went and had dinner at a nearby restaurant and our waitress told us that Baked and Wired was the best place to get a cupcake and coffee. So we finished up our dinner and headed over. After a shorter line, we... More

I planned my morning run around a stop by Baked and Wired. I ordered an Intelligentsia soy cappuccino and a slice of the pumpkin ginger bread....the frosting was amazing! Their sweets looked so good. I will definitely return.

Great bakery in the Georgetown area. The ice cream sammies were phenomenal and all their baked goods were great. Definitely worth a visit.

Read lots of great reviews about this place and finally got to see for ourselves on our last day in Washington! Cakes were so nice, baked to perfection and the coffee was so smooth. Anyone visiting Georgtown has to make this place one of their top 5 stops :-)
