I wouldn't go back to the restaurant. The service was slow and the food was under par. We were at the Alero in Dupont Circle. With so many other places to eat near by, I would choose something other than Alero. more

Having enjoyed dinner once last year, and again this January at Alero, I found it very satisfactory both times. Both of my experiences were at their Dupont Circle location. Gorgeous space, but our group of 16 was not impressed. 14 had arrived, 2 were stuck in a massive traffic jam, and the 16-year-old-looking hostess refused to seat us. We had to request a manager after a number of explanations to the hostess; finally, we were seated. Margaritas were very good, not expensive either for DC. Some food was great... more
