For many years, this has been one of my go-to restaurants in DC. Over time, service has become slower and less attentive, so plan to have a longer-than-normal meal. It's a little noisy too. Those that like Bistroit du Coin should check-out Le Diplomate on 14th, as it is the new hot spot for casual French dining in the city.

Try it, reasonable prices, great service, by Dupont Circle. The Entrecote is excellent! And salads and apetizers are a very good price.

Dinner with colleagues. Crowded. Noisy. GREAT French. Had escargot, duck and Côtes du Rhône. Simply put, it was fantastic. Definitely repeating. Bon appétit.

Excellent food, wonderful service, reasonable prices. We had two types of mussels, awesome sauce, fois gras and ended the meal with creme brûlée and peach Melba. Delightful causal and lively environment.

Always a fun place to dine with friends when visiting Washington. Great wine selection complements delicious escargots as an appetizer and steak frittes with bernaise sauce as a main course. You won't go wrong. Great environment, very casual, highly recommend it.

Nice little restaurant tucked away in DuPont ! Not very hungry so I had just the French onion soup which my taste buds were off as I didn't think it was very good but the bread tasted odd to me too. My boyfriend had escargot and for entree the filet. He thought both were excellent and my son had beef... More

The mussels are a true highlight and are offered with many choices of sauces. Lots of "French" cocktails--festive and fun.

If you're looking for a snobby French restaurant, go to Georgetown. Bistrot Du Coin gives you the quality food of those restaurants with half the price & half the arrogant glares. I have enjoyed the... French onion soup, duck confit (probably wouldn't try again), foie gras (amazing, but it seems every time I go the portion is smaller), pate, ravioli... More
