I have to say that the food at Bistrot Du Coin is pretty authentic and true to Parisian Bistro fare. This is to be welcomed. What could be left the other side of the Atlantic however is the arrogance of the waiting staff. Yes the place is busy and they're working hard-which equates to large tips-but don't take work frustrations... More

We were looking for a place for dinner on Friday night without prior booking. Two restaurants where we initially wanted to go were fully booked and waiting time was at least an hour. Decided to go to this Bistro. The portions were quite large but quality of food was average. The Bistro is decorated in a French style and has... More

This place reminded me a lot of several mid-level bistro/trattoria type places I've eaten at in Europe. Service is basic and unpretentious, but food is pretty amazing. Wine was decent but not overwhelming. Our waiter's command of English wasn't perfect, but he was smiling and patient with my confusion over the layout of their extensive menu. If you like mussels,... It was a celebratory night and this Bistrot came highly recommended. The staff was exceptionally engaging, the place was full and boisterous, and the food was excellent. I had the mussels Dijon and I was transported to the festival I attended in Dijon when I was a college student. The main course I had was a steak with mushrooms and... More

Really loved this place. Great atmosphere for lunch. Bring your newspaper / iPad and settle in. Great bar. Congenial staff. Prices aren't bad and the food was great! Thumbs up for the beer selection as well.

We've walked by a number of times and decided to stop in for the first time for dinner last night. It was a real mixed bag. I think they're trying for an authentic French bistro atmosphere, but don't quite pull it off. It's way too big for any kind of intimate dining and it was so loud my ears were... More

I had a reasonable meal here - the steak with Roquefort sauce accompanied by fries. The steak was large and a little overlooked for my liking. The sauce was good, and there was plenty of it. Service was average, as was the wine.

I loved siting in front of the open window watching the street in front. Food, coffee and mimosa were all delicious.
