Amazing Tosca

The attention on arrival was courteous and prompt. Even though it was late we had an unhurried. very pleasant dinner. Food was very well prepared and savory although I would have liked a little more on my plate. Wine and desserts were perfect. The service was truly excellent.

As one enters Tosca one is pleasantly surrounded by Waiters with white jackets, nice table's covered in white linens and presented with tasty food, but very small portions ( guess we should have ordered an appetizer ( but we are small eaters and at lunch time we tend to pass on appetizers) with that in mind I ordered the Roasted... Marry outstanding food with a great wine list in a good location with old world professional service and you will have Tosca. We were a group of five and all of our food was five stars: burrata, lobster risotto, breast of duck, crusty bread, the delightful bread pudding (budino) and a fine Gaja Ca' Marcanda. Waiters in white jackets are... More

We are from Houston and were looking for an Italian restaurant near our hotel, The Willard. It was an easy walk. The food was excellent. Not traditional Italian as we expected when we chose this restaurant, yet exceptional in every way. But even better than the food was the service. Our server's name was Grace. We have never had a... Old World service, great food and a nice atmosphere in one of the few district high-end restaurants that has a pre-theater program. In and out in 90 minutes to the Warner with absolutely no sacrifice of quality and service. The PT menu had plenty of options and we sampled an excellent celery root zuppe, nicely presented prosciutto w/arugula, an outstanding... More

The service and ambience are outstanding. Paolo, the manager, makes you feel very welcome. Of the courses we ordered, some were great, others were only fair. One of the main course options, the veal, was small and very fatty. In fact most of it was fat. However overall, we had a great time at this restaurant.

Took my spouse here on a date night before we went to see a show downtown. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. I felt like it was a pretty fancy place, though there were a few tables where people were dressed down. The food was very well prepared and ascetically pleasing. The serving portions were not huge,... More

My wife booked a table for us on Friday night for my birthday. She has searched for a place that would have fresh Italian truffle as this is really what I felt like for my bd. When we arrived the hostess directly said "oh you asked for truffles". Great they knew what we were there for. Their truffle past dish... More

Excellent food, very tasty, excellent service. One small observation: a bit noisy. Good wine advice. Small portion but full of flavour. Excellent dessert. Restaurant took our last minute reservation.
