For the second time, a fabulous meal. We don't go into Washington very much but Tosca is certainly a good reason to make the drive. The pastas are to die for as they are all made on the spot. My husbands veal chop was a heavenly experience. Reason enough to go again.

It started as a very nice experience. Good service and very good food. Everything was very good until 10 o'clock. Then the staff wanted us to leave. They stood by us to remove plates, and lined up just looking at our table. Cleaned up the place and removed extra chairs. This ruined a very good experience. Else everything was great.

I was expecting something great from this restaurant, but it was very average and overpriced. I want to blame the dishes I picked, but when paying such hefty prices I believe everything should taste fabulous. The staff was polite, but not very engaging. Overpriced and mediocre food.

This is a grown up, white table cloth, power lunch setting. Food is excellent. Had the tuna steak on my last trip. Good dessert. Only one complaint: this restaurant still has no accomodation for those allergic to milk: no soy milk, no almond milk. Very odd. Cost them a star.

Very nice interior decoration. Feels like a typical Spanish downtown place. Great vibe. Iberoamerican music playing. Bar area is open and comfortable Service was very friendly. Loved the duck tapa. The paella was great too.

For most of the last decade we have been indulging ourselves with Tosca’s tasting menu several times a year. Until last night it was always a great experience that often caused us to rate it five-star, but two weeks ago we had a disappointment. Several individually minor glitches reduced “great” to somewhere between “good” and “very good.” Open Table would... More

They are in their 20's - not a place for small children. Very good Italian food - scallops and sea urchin. Venison. Risotto. Salmon. Salads well dressed and fresh. Imaginative menu. Chocolate dessert worthy of the air miles needed to get the chocolate ! Don't eat all day before you go so you can thoroughly enjoy it - portions and... More

We chose this restaurant because they were Italian and that evening England were playing Italy in the World Cup in Brazil. They had it on the tv and most of the kitchen staff had Italy football shirts on. The atmosphere was fun before we started! My daughter wanted a vegetable sauce with pasta, which wasnt on the menu but they... More

My wife and I ate here with four friends at a comfortable table for six (so many tables for six are improvised, jammed, and uncomfortable, but this one was created for six, and conversation was easy since the noise level in Tosca is low). We had heard great things about Tosca, and this is one of those rare places that... More

Not heavy normal Italian, very creative. Far and above the best service you've experienced. These guys are true professionals. I go each time I'm in D.C.
