Great food

A great buzz to the place. I have now been 6 or so times. It does not disappoint. Great Italian food love the veal, great service and splendid wine selection. You are far enough apart to have good conversation too.

Forget about this place if you're in Washington. I went there a week ago and it was horrible AND expensive as hell. The maitre d' looks like a goon from a gangster movie and I had this feeling it would be a total rip off. Food was lousy, small portions and they're all over you to order more...Lots of better... Nice atmosphere, a little slow with the service, tater tots was a specialty...not sure why??? Large portions but the burger and portabella mushroom sandwiches were a bit messy to eat.

Mom and I can be picky but no complaints about this place. Valet parking was a plus. Everything we've ordered has been exceptional. I'm vegetarian and found multiple options. Waitstaff very attentive. Wine suggestions on target. When we needed to get to the theater on time meal was timed perfectly. Other time we enjoyed a leisurely dinner. I have recommended... More

This was a busy place with some fantastic decor and taps plates. An evening hot spot this location had creative tapas plates and fantastic service..

This place is a prime example of style and no substance. The cuisine is Italian and so my friends and I all had pasta dishes (tiny portions), one of which was not bad but the other too had the texture of glue and no taste. I had a mushy pasta with a rabbit ragout and wine sauce supposedly seasoned with... More

Tosca will give you the Italian experience if you are craving. They have an expansive wine list -- and will help you find what you want. The wait staff is helpful in their suggestions. The short rib stuffed ravioli was to die for, and the portion size wasn't huge, which is very refreshing for a pasta place. I had the... More

The photos are beautiful, but the taste is not. All of our dishes missed the mark. My husband ordered the sea bass. It was absolutely raw on the inside. Where is the chef? The pasta was just average. Don't order the short rib ravioli. It is served in a horrible muddy brown color sauce with no garnish. Looks like a... More

We had a great meal here. We loved everything about it. The wine list was excellent and the prices reasonable. We had the special pasta, which was wonderful. Service was great. A great evening.
