Romantic and delicious. Chestnut soup was to die. Loved my fish and thought the husband's pork was delightful, moist and smokey. In a good way. The service was lovely as well. Just watch out for the ridiculously expensive cocktails. Twenty bucks? For gin? It left this couple feeling a little taken-advantage of, frankly. But given every other taste, sip and... More

One of the best Italian meals ever. First class service, food and atmosphere. Good choice for a romantic evening or a business dinner.

Tosca offers a pre theatre special that has many options for the 3 courses at $38. The fish was prepared perfectly, as was the ravioli. Service is impeccable with a signature style of attentive oversight.

Great food, wonderful service, and a nice space. Each dish is beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Our chocolate dessert was amazing!

I agree with an earlier reviewer that the service is very attentive, but the food is nothing special. We went for their pre-theater menu, to save money, as the standard menu seemed pricy. My squash pasta was much less subtle than dishes I have had elsewhere. The grilled fish of the night was salmon or octopus--I chose the salmon and... More

When I made reservations to this place, I hadn't realized that it was more of an adult locale. So, when I rolled in with three 8-year-olds, I was a bit embarrassed. Never fear, however, the host greeted the kids with a smile, and the server was wonderful to them. Much to my surprise, they had quite a robust kid's menu... More

While at a conference in DC, we had the pleasure of having dinner at Tosca. From the minute that we walked in, the entire staff was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed 2 excellent bottles of wine and had 4 appetizers, dinner and dessert. All cooked to perfection. We will DEFINATELY be back!! W

Everything here is fantastic! Such high quality food and outstanding service. Everything is homemade and the waiters are incredibly knowledgeable. They offer half portions (which is great with some of the very rich dishes). Even better if you're a foodie like I am, you can do two half portions as a main dinner entree so you can try more of... So it is a little expensive, but I was happy to have a meal that I thoroughly enjoyed but did not feel as if I needed a wheel barrow to take me out. Waiter made an excellent suggestion to several of us. Everyone was pleased.
