This restaurant did not disappoint.. the service was great by a gentleman named Samuel, and the tapas was simply scrumptious. We tried quite a variety and loved them all. Our favorite was the baby squid with white beans.. depth of flavor was fantastic and you could eat a bowlful! I would recommend this place to anyone, especially those who like... More

I have been to Jaleo many times and have never been disappointed. The food and service are top notch. This restaurant is always very busy so I would definitely recommend making reservations.

This is a very popular restaurant on weekends, so make reservations. The decor is modern; the tapas menu is extensive and there is something for everyone; the service is great. The sangria was a little disappointing. But Jaleo is a reliable choice that always delivers.

Every time we go to Jaleo, the experience is good. Service is quick and efficient. And the food is the star there. I noticed this last time that our tapas portion were a bit bigger than usual, a treat!! Thumbs up!!!

This Spanish Tapas is completely authentic...you will be hard pressed to find better unless you go directly to Spain. I enjoyed one of the specials due to it being citrus season and the pairing with asparagus and cheese was fantastic...I am always drawn to have the spinanch and the potatas bravas as staples to my meal. We tried a few... More

Tapas are now so popular that they have become a cliche. But it was not so long ago that the idea was indeed novel -- a place where one could snack or dine on a great variety of interesting and delicious selections. At Jaleo small plate does not mean precious, overly contrived food. It is what you will find when... More

This Jaleo restaurant does Tapas very well, you should pop in sometime for a great variety of outstanding Tapas on the menu. It is a busy place, many just love it here as I did, the staff is only 2nd best to the food. It is a bit pricey, but well worth a visit every now and then. The tables... More

I have mix feelings for this place, when we walked in the ladies in charge of the sitting were busy talking to each other, and seems we were interrupting so it took them like a minute to acknowlege us. Once they gave us a table, it took forever to get someone to take our order, of drinks! The waitress was... More

I try to visit Jaleo each time I'm in DC, which is about two or three times a year. Wherever I'm staying, I feel that the trip to Jaleo is worth it; and I've never been disappointed. There are so many exceptionally tasty choices. Everyone with whom I've been to this restaurant has loved it. The only challenge is that... More

We accidentally stumbled into Jaleo on a whim trying to escape the cold, and wanting to try a new cuisine. I didn't realize it was a tapas restaurant until the waiter told us. (silly me) Thankfully, they had a lunch menu with sandwich, soup, and salad options! I got the vegetable sandwich (asparagus, roasted peppers, onion, spinach, and cheese) with... More
