Ate there twice in a two day span. One night we showed up at 10pm the service and food was amazing. Could not have asked for a better evening. Below is what I learned to avoid from my experience the second night. Do not go there after 11pm they are open until 12am but it seems like the chefs and... More

I ate here on a business trip based on the fame of the renowned chef/owner. The place itself seems a bit too modern and busy at first, and I was worried it would be touristy but the food is pretty authentic in style, especially if you venture deep into the extensive tapas menu. The bar area is better than the... More

The thought process was very good, the execution of the concept average. If you trying to introduce Spanish tapas to the Midwestern tourist, then this is the way, since they are comparing it to a diner or mc Donald's. Certainly, not a quality meal, in a busy environment. Service was very good, and personable. We did need to ask for... More

What fun as well as so delicious. A great place to take a group and share everything. Crowded, noisy, fun -- we weren't rushed as we worked our way through about twenty savory plates and two pitchers of refreshing sangria. .

I've been going to Jaleo ever since it opened. Yesterday's meal was not up to snuff: 1. The waiter refused to bring bread and olive oil, saying they didn't do that. Well, they certainly used to, and when I asked the Maitre d' to intervene, somehow bread appeared. Not a good start. 2. The food seemed curiously bland. Shrimp "al... More

Had lunch here for my birthday - loved it! I did not have a reservation, just showed up on a weekday, and got a nice table by the window. Service was fantastic - very attentive but not overly smothering. Everything I ate was simply amazing: well prepared, well thought out, harmonized flavors. We started off with Cono de salmón crudo... Even after some reservation issues (all mine, not the restaurants) the staff was prompt and helpful. It was a great spot for a party of 10 women for lunch. The menu was easy to choose from, the food was great and the service was smooth and efficient. You always worry when you try to book and don't have a final... More

The vibe at this restaurant was upscale but chill at the same time. Not too loud where you can't hear your counterparts talk. But buzzing enough where you knew you were somewhere to see and be seen. The food was delicioso. Bacon wrapped dates are a must. And the fennel apple salad with Jerez Vinaigrette was incredible! The sangria was... More

A wonderful lunch with excellent help from our waiter. I cannot beging to comment on the complexity of the menue and the extensive selection of wonderful tapas. We would definitely recomment this restaurant to anyone wanting to experience the realm of tapas. Incidentally, named for the piece of bread or meat intended to cover one's glass of sherry so the... It gets better every time! Start by ordering the white sangria, it will blow your socks off! Then order all the tapas your heart desires, definitely the dates! It's such a fun restaurant and Jose does a fabulous job w/ the menu! Seriously my #1 restaurant!
