We ate at this restaurant twice in 6 days - once for lunch and once for dinner. The food was amongst the best Spanish food I've had - and I'm in Spain 5 or 6 times a year. Good quality, fresh ingredients - all in all very tasty. I cannot recommend highly enough.

There was not one thing that was not one thing here that was disappointing. We started with olives and cheese. Even this simple dish was surprising and more than I expected. The rabbit confit was great. The seared scallops (on the menu, not the special) were absolutely outstanding. The apple and fennel salad was great and refreshing. The onions with... More

I came here with my husband for a late dinner/snack. We ordered a half pitcher of sangria plus lamb, salad, and bacon-wrapped dates for tapas. The tapas were all really good, but the sangria wasn't (just tasted like wine with a bit of sugar and a single piece of fruit on the glass). The atmosphere is OK, but I found... More

the food here is to Tapas what PF Chang's is to Chinese i.e Watered down. The bold and brilliant tastes of Spain have been muddled to something presumable more attractive to the mass market. Some good plates were overwhelmed by the average to dull nature of most. And the service is in direct proportion to your table size. Big tables... More

Awesome dinner! Asked some friends for a recommendation for dinner while in DC on business and all of them mentioned Jaleo, and now I know why! The food is amazing! Place was packed, even on a Thursday night! Server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The bar had an eclectic selection of drinks and they were refreshing. Wine list... More

This is a must visit restaurant. A tad on the pricey side but every dish will blow your taste buds away. Order about 4 tapas per person, and have the hazelnut dessert!

Bartender at another restaurant recommended the unique gin and tonics at Jaleo so we stopped for one and stayed for dinner. They feature different G&T styles like citrus and herbal served on large tumblers with a single giant ice cube. We sat at the bar and found the bartenders to be friendly and attentive. Since we were having fun ,... More

Course after course was delicious. Nice presentation with fresh food. So many to choose from I cannot really say which one was my favorite! I have attached a picture of the beautifully presented scallop ceviche and my all time favorite patatas bravas. We also tried the jamon (cured hams from Spain). It may seem a bit pricey, but it is... It was my first time to have tapas. I got the Joses Way tasting menu that I saw on the website. It was $95 but oh so definitely worth it. It was course after course of deliciousness. So much that I couldn't eat any more. My server was great. She explained everything that was bought to me and made sure... More

Went for a late lunch so it wasn't too busy and the staff was friendly but unclear as to who's table is serviced by whom! And the service was, understandably, spotty. Sometimes two people asked if we needed anything and sometimes there was nobody to be found! The food was good, not great, and I can't say the wait staff... More
