sushi/sahimi are so different

Great selection of sushi and beverages. (Saki menu is extensive) Service was very good with a knowledgeable friendly staff. Waking distance from the metro at Davis square

Pros: Delicious brunch with drag queen show; very fun, especially if you have a few mimosas. Cons: It's popular so there may be a wait but it's worth it

So I made the mistake of saying we were interested in a few drinks and may order some food when we made our way up to the roof top. We were instantly delegated to the bar and told we might get a table if something opened up.. mind you there were 3 open tables at the time. We ordered our... More

Gotta give the waiter Rasim high marks as he knew the menu well. I wasn't really hungry so I just ordered crab spring roll which was just ok. Think I would have preferred just a veggie spring roll. The waiter recommended the mushroom soup and he was right. OMG. It was delicious. My son had sushi and said it was... More

We really enjoyed the dinner at this place: great food and awesome atmosphere. Top of the roof with the hanging lights overlooking Adam's Morgan area. One big drawback: amount of time it took to get the food. We witnessed a few patrons lose patience and ask for the bags to take the food home. One couple even cancelled their order.... More

I think our waiter Ronauld (sp?) may have said two words during our entire dinner. Complete lack of knowledge about anything on the menu, inattention to drinks, and generally unpleasant to be around. The sushi and sushi rolls were good but I don't typically give places like this second chances.

Years ago we used to go to Perry's a lot, usually for dinner, in the warmer months the rooftop terrace was open. However have never been there for brunch, and certainly not the Sunday drag brunch which must have started after the last time we lived in DC. This Sunday, decided to give it a try, but couldn't get up... More

Went here for my wife's birthday and had an amazing time. Making a reservation was very easy and they are very accomodating. The only downside is that you can only make reservations for the rooftop seating up to 7:00 PM; after that it is first come, first serve. This honestly, wasn't a huge deal and I was able to work... Perrys provides delightful ambiance for good food on their rooftop serving area. The sushi is excellent, and there is a wide range of choice. One of our party had a teriyaki, and that was excellent. Tempura appetizers were also very well presented. The only downside for us was the trek up two serious sets of stairs; someone with mobility challenges... More
