Upscale and local in an area of gentrification. Adjacent to several boarded up buildings that Marriot will develop in the next year, is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Men are requested to wear a jacket. The service and food are first rate, with the order of scallops being a highlight.

You might miss it because the sign is small and half the block is boarded up but it's across the street from the convention center. Greeted and seated promptly even though I was early. Very courteous and knowledgeable waiter. Apps, entrees and desserts were excellent and the menu had nice selections.

This is a restaurant for the mid-thirties to the elderly. The ambiance is soft and lovely. The food is divine with pure, clean tastes. An amazing wine selection is available. I loved it so much that I treated my daughter and her boyfriend to dinner there the next week and they concurred with my opinion.

Our table (4 guests) took the tasting menu and we didn’t regret it. Before the 5 regular courses, we were greeted with a cup of sweet corn and lobster cream. The 5 courses were excellent one after the other: crushed tomatoes with fresh tuna, scallops on grits, pork loin, wagyu beef, and desserts, each guest having a different dessert. Tastes... More

The space is nice and the service was spectacular. We got the tasting menu. I was underwhelmed. The food was good, it wasn't bad, it's just that nothing was that special or awe-inspiring. A decent value for the price. Wine menu was diverse and had some inexpensive yet strong options. The bar was upstairs, which was a little awkward, and... More

We enjoyed our meal here. We both had the lobster carpaccio of thinly sliced lobster with butter and spices. It was a real treat. I had the big eye tuna on sushi rice. Again it was delicious, as was my wife's scallops on grits. We also enjoyed the warm peach tartine and the chocolate tart for dessert. Our waiter was... More

A group of 5 friends/colleagues ate here after a busy day at the convention center. It was pleasant, not too noisy, with a seasonally appropriate menu and attentive service. Definitely recommended.

Well in last minute effort of scouring DC restaurants my wife cam across this one and the winning reason we choose it was..... Valet parking. lol However the parking was far from the top 10 things to love about corduroy, from the moment we walked in to the last pour of the water the experience was fantastic. The Menu was... We chose this well reviewed restaurant for dinner for my wife's birthday. Like many other reviewers , I thought the service was top notch without being over bearing. Heirloom tomato salad topped with arugula was excellent . Many for the meat dishes are served rare to medium rare , that's just not for me but others in our party enjoyed... More
