From start to finish, everything was superb. I dined alone, but was treated as if I was buying dinner for 10. From the person who seated me, to the bartender, to the person who cleared my plates to my server, everyone made me feel welcome and special. I had the Chef's Tasting menu and was not disappointed. It was said... More

I have dined at Corduroy at its previous location and recently at the new location across from the DC Convention Center. The service and food were both excellent. Our waiter knew the menu, the ingredients and was very helpful in helping us order. The menu was somewhat limited - but that is a plus as only the best ingredients available... More

If you are looking for an intimate meal, with unobtrusive service that is always there just when you need it Corduroy is for you. The food is delicious; interesting without going over the top so it is still food not merely entertainment. Recommend the lobster carpaccio or heirloom tomato as a first course, antelope or guinea hen for an entree.... More

We were looking for a great dining experience within walking distance to the Washington DC Convention center and the Marriott Marquis. We were not disappointed. My colleague and I enjoyed the Chefs Taste Sampler along with the Wine Pairing. It was a wonderful meal we tried a little of everything. We started with a cold split pea soup that was... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening at this restaurant. We both ordered the Five Course Tasting Menu which the Chef tailored to avoid shellfish for my husband. The flavors were exquisite and the service impeccable. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant for a special occasion.

One of the best meals I have had in a long time. We did the chefs tasting which is a challenge with my family. We have lots of allergies. The food was amazing and the service was attentive, friendly, and warm. Very fun getting surprised with each course and trying unusual combinations. The team of waiters made us feel like... More

This was our second visit to Corduroy (first time about 8 mos. ago), and we were greatly impressed yet again. One of our favorite DC restaurants, Michel Richard's Citronelle, has been closed for some time, and we pine for it often. However, Chef Tom Power brings a bit of Chef Richard to his Corduroy, plus much more. The venue is... More

A lovely evening at this "bistro" type restaurant . Delightful staff - friendly, helpful and gracious. Good food, good wine and good ambience. The perfect ingredients for a great evening. Had the soft shelled crab which was superb. Will definitely return to sample the tasting menu.

I chose this restaurant because it was the highest rated on TripAdvisor of the 4 in this area. We had a conference at the brand new Marriott Marquis and this was about a block (less than a block) away in an old townhouse. The service was excellent if a little slow - but this was a business dinner and we... More

We were seated at the window which was really nice. The service was outstanding and the food quality has not changed over the years that we have been there, The menu is very classical and it is always a pleasure to go back,
