Would not change a thing!

I have organized my mother's 70th Birthday in this restaurant, and there not a single thing I would change. Service, food and atmosphere are perfect and I would absolutely go back to this place for next occasion.

This wasn't an ordinary restaurant meal I'm reviewing but a closed restaurant event for United Airline's Explorer Visa Card Members who bid for the unique dining experience at Marcel's. Given that, the restaurant pulled out all of the stops for its diners and had us all sample the best of the best paired with wines for each course. I hope... More

We're from Adelaide Australia, we have had the pleasure of dining at Marcel's twice now a year apart. I found this place through Trip advisor and we just love it. Food is superb and the waiting staff are very attentive without being intrusive. Do yourself a favour and go to Marcel's, tell them Debra sent you!

A must, if you can afford it. The service is outstanding, and so is the food. Be sure to book your table in time.

Belgium, French, European it doesn't matter what you call it. Chef can do it all. One of the finest meals you can have in DC. Expensive yes. Dining room still seems a bit dated and stuffy but I wouldn't let that stop you from dining here. Service is good but can be a little distracted on busy weekend nights. The... More

Our group came across this restaurant by chance walking around on a visit to DC. We were very glad that we tried it. The food is indeed excellent, although I would have to contradict the last reviewer that claims it is comparable to Le Bernardin in New York City (which we also just visited). It's not quite that good -... More

This restaurant is as good, if not better, than New York City's Le Bernardin, and so much more enjoyable. We didn't check its Michelin rating, but it deserves 3 stars in our opinion. You have a choice of prix fix menus that relate to the number of courses you wish to order (4,5,6 or 7). There are also a couple... More

Very enjoyable meal, especially my daughter's amazing four quarter's soup. We were well looked after. Surprised to find the standards are probably higher in Europe - but nonetheless a good experience, especially as they let me in in trainers after a day of walking around seeing the sights!

A very special restaurant for events and celebrations. Unique "Build your own" menu. Limited capacity, suggest reservations.

Amazing food, we were seriously impressed but we were probably the youngest in the place so we got pretty crappy service. They were quick and accurate but not top nice experience we expected. Special occasion request was forgotten and server was little rude at the end. Very loud place, due to church like ceiling.
