Wonderful location, average food

This is a beautiful restaurant located right on the Potomac River in the Washington Harbour complex. Alas, the food did not match the location. First disappointment were the oysters-- puny, shell-filled and tasteless. Don't know where they came from; we were not given a choice. What kind of raw... read more

Great Seafood Brunch, fabulous staff, great band and great atmosphere!! Worth the price. Sits on the water in the heart of Georgetown.

Enjoyed our salmon, service was very good. It was a snowy night so the skating rink in front was a nice touch.

I have eaten here where many times over the last twenty year and T and J's has always been good. A great place for dinner or lunch. Recommend outdoor table when the weather allows. Wonderful atmosphere with great views. Crowd: DC professionals, all ages. Try the specials. Oysters are superb.

We had drinks for a group event followed by a wonderful dinner with our choice of salad or shrimp cocktail, one of 3 entrees, (crab cakes, mahi mahi or filet mignon) and then dessert of either raspberry sorbet or chocolate cake. Everyone tried different things around me and everyone was very happy. The service was wonderful and the food was... More

I reserved my table on Opentable and the rest was easy-peasy! I used my Groupon offer...no problem, I ordered an additional glass of wine...no problem, can ya leave the tomatoes off...no problem. See how this worked out! The Veal Porterhouse was Devine and so tender, yup! I inhaled my Veal Porterhouse and forgot to take pics; but, here are pics... More

In DC for business, our hotel concierge, Miguel, recommended Tony and Joe's for it's seafood and drinks. Good choice. A bit pricey (where in DC isn't), quite noisy, but the food and drinks were good. Thanks Miguel.

The blackened mahi-mahi was very good. Service was a bit on the slow side, but our waiter was courteous and friendly. Let me just say this... Non-seafood choices are extremely limited. You cannot get a filet mignon at this place. Yes, I know it's a seafood place, but most fine dining seafood places offer one or two premium cuts of... More

Recovering from jet lag in Georgetown we decided to dine at T & J's. No need to book in October, the large dining room was sparsely populated, but the service was attentive and quick - boy was it quick! We were expecting a leisurely meal but could have been in and out in an hour. Not complaining, but if you... More

The Harbour complex is a great venue in Georgetown, especially on a summer evening, though we were there on an unseasonably warm evening in early November! Menu and service is pretty much of the standard and variety that you'd expect from this type of restaurant anywhere in the USA: good but not particularly different. In fairness I would expect similar... More
