Came here with out of state family and it was perfect. Server left us alone as we were busy catching up and so was the waiter w/ too many busy tables. Everyone enjoyed their plates....

I dined at the 600 13th Street NW location. The crab cake appetizer and the mixed greens salad were wonderful. Unfortunately the service was very bad. There was enough time to memorize the menu prior to the waiter arriving and taking my drink order. Since I had just walked several blocks, I asked for ice water with lemon. Approximately 20... More

Am a long-time fan of McCormick & Schmick's but never knew they had a little brother, the M & S Grill offering a similar menu (with more grilled choices) but in a more casual setting. Had dinner there and looks like it's a luncheon venue as seating was plentiful. Food was outstanding: Blacken Chicken Linguini, Blackened Tilapia, Grilled Asparagus. Oh,... More

I was pleasing surprised to get such a delicious meal, excellent wine selection and wonderful service as we did at M & S Grille. Baked Cod is as good as in Boston and the Cape served with flavorful Cous Cous. Enjoy the great location around many hotels.

Working downtown and having eaten here before for lunch, I only raised my expectation level up a "1/2 notch" by taking a chance on dinner. As a solo diner, I was pleased being lead to a window table only to be seated right in front of the server's station (the constant restocking of silverware was a little nerve wracking). Then... More

Recently ate here while visiting DC. We walked in without reservations and were told the only tables available were in the bar. Having a young child with us, that was not ideal. But before we could sit they found a booth in the dining room we could have - yay! The meal was good, everyone liked their food, but nothing... More

This is the third time we've eaten here. The first time was great. The second time, OK. This latest visit was not good at all. It was lunchtime in downtown DC. A decent sized group in the restaurant, but certainly not packed. It took our waitress about 8 minutes to even acknowledge us at our seats. It took ten more... More

We stopped in to rest our feet and fill our stomachs. We were seated in a booth. We had spinach artichoke appetizer which was very good. I had Parmesan crusted chicken that very delicious. Hubby had fish tacos which he said were good. Service was ok, but waiter never brought us our tap water. Overall a pleasant meal.

We came back to M & S during a quick visit to DC. We had eaten there last year during cherry blossom season and had had a really incredible meal. We made reservations for an earlier dinner, and were seated at a booth. It was pretty crowded for early on a Saturday night. We heard a bunch of waiters yelling... More
