Description: Of all of our "native" food, barbecue is uniquely, authentically and gloriously All-American. Old Glory, located on historic M Street in Georgetown, captures the food, flavor and feel of the great barbecue restaurants of the United States, and offers representations of each styles of barbecue served in different parts of the country. "It looks like a rib joint, sounds like a rib joint and smells like one...most important, of course, the kitchen smokes fine barbecue," says the Washington Post. The huge barbecue pit, the open kitchen, and the 1901 Silver Dollar Four Winds hand-crafted bar, create lively, exciting atmosphere that is downright down-home.

I have been to this establishment a few times and they never disappoint. My daughter and I just popped in for some appetizers and a drink and had a nice time. Staff was very friendly and the nachos and cubano bites were delicious. Always enjoy the corn bread bites as well. Will be back for the ribs next visit as... More

Came in mid-week of Thanksgiving for lunch. The place was almost deserted. So, there is no complaints about swiftness of service. I ordered beef brisket with fries. Brisket was very good, it's been a while since got one this good. Fries were decent. Unfortunately, they were out of my favorite beer. So, a ☆ off for that fact. Other than... More

I was there for lunch the other day and had the 3 different selection of bbq plate. BBQ was just ok I guess. But the place is fun. The staff was really friendly and the bad looks cool. It's a good place for drinks after work but if your really just interested in bbq I give it a 3.

If you are in Georgetown and is longing for some serious ribs, this is the place. No kids menu, but great options for 10+ years old. Vast selection of Burbons.

I ate here last week while in Washington DC on business. I was tired of all the overpriced boutique restaurants and wanted something basic and filling. Old Glory fit the bill with it's Southern styling. The restaurant is in Georgetown on M Street. Parking is extremely limited in the area. We were warmly greeted and shown to our booth. Our... More

I travel for work up to 95% of the year so FOOD is one of my favorite things to compare around the country. This place was a recommendation from the guy in the parking lot we parked at across the street, and WOW...it was AWESOME!! We split the BBQ sampler between the 3 of us and still had some to... More

I came here to have the belly burger, and boy was it good. The meat was juicy, the egg was runny, cheese spicy, and the relish refreshing. Oh it comes with a nice piece of pork belly on it but I ordered it without it. My friend got the frenchie: brisket with caramelized onion, cheddar cheese on a french baguette.... More

Went there during a business trip for dinner, food was awesome and plenty. The BBQ-ed meat was delicious, and the fries out of this world. Nice collection of beers and cocktails, immense collection of bourbon. Will definitely be back next time I visit Georgetown.
