Description: Of all of our "native" food, barbecue is uniquely, authentically and gloriously All-American. Old Glory, located on historic M Street in Georgetown, captures the food, flavor and feel of the great barbecue restaurants of the United States, and offers representations of each styles of barbecue served in different parts of the country. "It looks like a rib joint, sounds like a rib joint and smells like one...most important, of course, the kitchen smokes fine barbecue," says the Washington Post. The huge barbecue pit, the open kitchen, and the 1901 Silver Dollar Four Winds hand-crafted bar, create lively, exciting atmosphere that is downright down-home.

I was there for lunch the other day and had the 3 different selection of bbq plate. BBQ was just ok I guess. But the place is fun. The staff was really friendly and the bad looks cool. It's a good place for drinks after work but if your really just interested in bbq I give it a 3.

If you are in Georgetown and is longing for some serious ribs, this is the place. No kids menu, but great options for 10+ years old. Vast selection of Burbons.

I ate here last week while in Washington DC on business. I was tired of all the overpriced boutique restaurants and wanted something basic and filling. Old Glory fit the bill with it's Southern styling. The restaurant is in Georgetown on M Street. Parking is extremely limited in the area. We were warmly greeted and shown to our booth. Our... More

I travel for work up to 95% of the year so FOOD is one of my favorite things to compare around the country. This place was a recommendation from the guy in the parking lot we parked at across the street, and WOW...it was AWESOME!! We split the BBQ sampler between the 3 of us and still had some to... More

I came here to have the belly burger, and boy was it good. The meat was juicy, the egg was runny, cheese spicy, and the relish refreshing. Oh it comes with a nice piece of pork belly on it but I ordered it without it. My friend got the frenchie: brisket with caramelized onion, cheddar cheese on a french baguette.... More

Went there during a business trip for dinner, food was awesome and plenty. The BBQ-ed meat was delicious, and the fries out of this world. Nice collection of beers and cocktails, immense collection of bourbon. Will definitely be back next time I visit Georgetown.

I met a friend here for lunch because its right in the middle of Georgetown and a very comfortable place. The service was great and we had a neat table right next to the sidewalk so we could watch people walking by. The food was fine but the portions were unbelievable small. I've eaten here in the past and its... More

Enjoyed a nice lunch on their upstairs patio. The Armadillo Egg Rolls are a MUST!!! The ribs not so much. Mac & cheese very good. Their sauces are pretty good. I love Kansas City BBQ so I'm comparing. I would dine at Old Glory again but I'd stick to the brisket and burnt ends.
