The pasta with Roman Pecorino cheese and black pepper was deli and the cotolleto di vitello heavenly. Somewhat expensive though. Hence rating 4/5 on a quality/price balance. Quality in isolation is easily 5.

My husband and adult daughter and I went for lunch. We split the burrata cheese appetizer, the beef carpaccio, and the arugula and pear salad. For entrees we had the mushroom risotto, the grilled veal chop and the sea scallops. We split a bottle of Brunello di Montalcino. Coffees after dinner. Bill was around $350 before tip. Service was good... More

We are not from the DC area but we're in town for a graduation celebration. We picked the restaurant because it was a short cab ride from our hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive. In our party of nine each person ordered something different and each dish was absolutely delicious! The only complaint was that portions were very small....especially... More

Dear 3CTheUSA, Thank you for joining us at Cafe Milano while you visited Washington DC! We are happy to hear that your graduation celebration was well-enjoyed at our restaurant, but have certainly noted the feedback about the portion sizes. I have family from Youngstown as well and they, too, have healthy appetites. For this, I suggest our delicious and filling... More

I'm not one to review, but dinner last night was fantastic! Certainly a memorable experience. Cafe Milano has it all--atmosphere, divine food, attentive service, and that special je ne sais quoi! Really is worth the stop if you enjoy wining and dining at it's finest! Can't wait to go back!

Café Milano is so popular in Washington that it is often difficult to get a table. Imagine my surprise to arrive for Sunday brunch when there were no other diners in evidence! We happened to be the first intrepid customers who braved the rain and sleet to be welcomed at the restaurant today. The bloody mary was outstanding (if a... More

Cafe Milano has a reputation in DC for being a place to be seen. IT's an old, established place, where celebrities -- political and entertainment -- seem to fulfill the need to be so they can say they were there. It has an air of casual elegance, and one never knows who one might see, but if your dinner is... More

If you are in Georgetown and have the desire to see how the best of DC live- this is it. Everything about it is chic. The manager Laurent is the best. I love the veal and the pizza. The wine list is great. I promise you will love it.

I visited Cafe Milano alone on a Friday night and was happy I could get a reservation ... the frigid weather likely helped. We met dear friends for dinner at Cafe Milano two nights ago. We waited 50 minutes to be seated, despite having an 8:00 reservation.
