First meal here in DC today. All of the entrees & desserts were fantastic. Our waiter, Jose, was impeccable. It was a wonderful way to start a vacation.

tough to find better, more authentic, wonderfully prepared and served southern food than at Georgia Browns. Each course was over the top in every respect - and the service was friendly, timely, and complete. great food and service at balanced prices.

We enter only because of TA reviews....This is a classy restaurant/bar with excellent service, all the food we ordered was high quality and tasty. There also was a jazz band playing that added to the ambiance. Just take in consideration that it's not cheap and rather fits for a romantic dinner than regular tourist evening

The food and service was excellent. The cuisine was soul food without much of a greasy or overworked touch. The friend chicken was well done. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. The atmosphere was classy and the staff attentive.

My wife and I had little experience with southern food. Georgia Brown's was a great introduction with excellent food, friendly ( not overbearing) staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Had we been in DC longer, we would have certainly gone again. A must have on your DC dinning list!

Went in for lunchtime - staying at the St. Regis on the same block. My partner had the fried chicken salad; had the black-eyed cakes. The black eyed cakes were excellent; served with spinach and rice. Very good. There was no specific lunch menu, other than a three course at about $25. They might do more lunch business if they...
