They could have had a better drink selection for the couple 👫 meal but other than the food was delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone. I must go back and try the regular menu.

I liked desk person Carmen who doubles as a coat check girl and server Ramses but really the driest burger i can remember, I was offered only cayenne mayo as a condiment so no thanks. i think specials are priced right but for reasons i can only speculate about, my guests were not that interested and all ordered a la... This was my 3rd time to Georgia Brown's which speaks to the food and the atmosphere--it's a very cool place with good "comfort" foods that have been translated into upscale dishes. A creative menu and excellent wait staff make it a really nice experience. My ONLY criticuism could probably be applied to every restaurant in the downtown District area--the prices... More

Hello, This place is tops - we had excellent service during our Sunday brunch. The food was super fresh, well seasoned (if applicable) and very well presented. The price was very reasonable when you factor in they allow you take a good quality entree home with you. I had the fried chicken and greens which was wonderful! We will be... More

after not getting to experience their brunch due to a miscommunication from the restaurant, we instead went for supper. while not the experience we were looking for with the jazz brunch, their dinner menu is pretty nice. it's heavy on the seafood which is expected, our server was wonderful. very attentive. it was early enough for supper that it was... Georgia Brown's is steps away from the White House and the food is great. You never know who you might see. I celebrated my 50th birthday there and two tables away Michelle Obama was having lunch with a friend. Politics aside it is not every day you "dine" with the First Lady.

Still the premiere venue in Washington for low-country cooking re-imagined but without ever being over-thought, fussy, or inauthentic. How this restaurant maintains its standards is a mystery, but it is an oasis in Washington. Don't be put off if you can't get in for brunch, each visit unfolds delights and surprises. Their signature cocktails aren't to be missed. Inspired cooking... More

Three couples went for restaurant week. The atmosphere was cozy, wait staff was very friendly. I ordered the grilled asparagus salad to start, shrimp dejohnes for an entree, and peach cobbler for dessert. The salad was good but the asparagus was grilled much; the shrimp dish was delicious -ample portion too; and the peach cobbler was wonderful - served warm... More

Fabulous food, atmosphere and service. Make sure you end your meal with chocolate pecan pie; nothing short of perfect! Waiter Bob was full of information regarding ingredients and so gracious. He made everything sound delicious and it definitely was!
